Lines in the Printouts - Worse Customer Care
From day one this printer is printing vertical lines with the printing. I thought it would go off over the time as the printed is new, But It got worse and when I contacted customer care they said it's out of 90 days window and they cannot do anything. Worse customer care. I do not recommend buying this product.

Customer service was amazing!
An extremely nice experience. We had to exchange our new machine with another one and the customer service rep. took care of the exchange quickly.

OK, but not as good as other Brother printers.
The machine prints OK, but often it produces wrinkled paper. We have tried to trouble shoot with Brother support but the problem continues to plague us. It also is slower than other less expensive Brother printers we have had in the past.

I love my brother!
I love my brother! It does everything beautifully, and the installation was remarkably simple.
My only wish is that the Macintosh version of the software would be updated to perform all the various functions available in the PC windows version. Scanning to a PDF file, faxing from the computer, etc. are entirely lacking for those of us who use the Macintosh.

Excellect build quality. Fast Printing, Scanning and Copying. Great quality printing scanning and copying. Paper feeder works great. Scanning from the paper feeder a large number of pages sometimes skews the page. Using VueScan Professional skew fix checkbox option seems to resolve that small problem. The software that comes with it is not that great, just get yourself a copy of VueScan for scanning and scanning large documents from the paper feeder. I use this printer from both a Windows 10 machine and a MacBook Air M1. Happy with this Brother Printer...will never buy an HP printer again.

You get what you pay for. I got a very fast printer scanner fax machine copier Wi-Fi and direct Wi-Fi from my phone to this machine and it works Very well. Everything is as advertised. I got what I paid for.

Good luck getting support.
I hooked this 6900 up wireless at my winter home so I could work remotely and it worked great, could fax, could scan, could print from all my computers, pads, & phones without a hitch. Then I could only print and could no longer scan so I did all the troubleshooting and could not get it to go. I finally had to plug it in using the usb and now it faxes, prints from my main computer, and scans but can no longer use it wireless. Very disappointing and could not call anyone to get support. Still love the machine but disappointed it doesn't work like my 5900 at home does everything. Exact same machine only grey this one is white but I could not find a 5900 in stock so I sprung for the 6900. Spent more but expected more, got less.

So far the printer has been great. It was easy to setup, prints fast and clean and does doubled sided printing. The printer does a great job printing envelopes. My only issue is that you shouldn't keep envelopes in the feeder all the time. If you run out of paper in the regular paper tray the printer will default to the next tray no matter what media is in the feeder. There is the option on which tray to choose first. I haven't found an option to eliminate the Manual Feed tray an option when all other trays are empty.

Very fast and efficient printer
After checking out and reading reviews for about a month I found this one to be the perfect choice for my small business (self-employed. My main requirement for a laser printer was duplex scanning and this one does it very well. On rare occasions the scan may be crooked, but it could be weight of paper or it wasn’t set properly. Setting up wifi was a little quirky, but it works. The only thing that was frustrating was AirPrint. It would not hold the network when I tried to AirPrint with any device. It would connect but them drop as soon as printer went to sleep or anything weird happened. I tried everything they suggested. Then by sheer luck as I checked under printer configuration, I remember reading on Google about ipv4 and ipv6. It’s defaulted to ipv4. I switched to ipv6 and its been perfect ever sinces.

I love my Brother!
My office is small, but my workload is large, and the Brother printer, copier, scanner, faxing machine I use has been dependable and beyond useful to me. I highly recommend Brother, especially to those who don't have a tech to come and service your office equipment; I have never had to call a repair service for my Brother. That's why I love it!

Device is terrific - software not so much
The machine scans nicely, prints quickly and does a good job of doing what it's asked. However, the software and driver download on brother is not as strong, because the scanning software is clunky and the menus all look dated. Luckily, I also purchased a Brother color printer/scanner that comes with superior scanning software that also accommodates this machine, so things are now better.

Great looking machine, I own a small insurance agency and tax prepation business, my good experience with the MFc-8440 made me to convert to all brother office equipments (Fax, printers, & Scanner. I purchased the MFC-L6900DW in late in 2017, it is fast, the print quality is good but it started to cruple and crease the papers, it gets worse when I print double sided. I still love brothers products but if solution is not found soon I'll have no choice than to find other products. Until then I will not recommend this product.

Great when it works
The first one we got was a bit of a lemon and finally got so bad we had to exchange it. The refurbished one they sent us seems to be working very well now. When it works its very fast and prints very good quality. We are a busy office but not super high volume so it should suite our needs well. Hopefully this new one will hold up better. If it does I would give this product 5 stars.

This copier was purchased for a small office copies. Unfortunately, we had to have it replaced after 6 months because it kept having streaks on the copies. We really wanted a very reliable product and not sure if this is going to make the grade.

Top MFC that is the best that I have ever owned.

After 1 months Performing great.
Purchased to replace large copier doing 25,000 copies per month, currently planning to have 3 of these units. Our current unit print count is 5,300 . No problems and very easy to configue and route scans to computers on our network.

Great machine, short lifespan
I purchased 4/2016, had replaced 10/2016. Machine was creasing paper. Now 5/2017 and replacement machine doing the same thing. Not sure if there is a defect in the product or what. Definetly should last more than 6 mos and 15k pages! Have always used and loved Brother products. Am probably going to look for another brand.

Professional Grade Machine
This is a great all in one machine to keep by my desk. It has a heavy duty feel to it and one can tell that it is a professional quality machine. It is very easy to use and does all of the functions with speed.
