We moved over to using the Asus VE247 and then the VE248H over the course of the last couple of years, Our users like the clarity and brightness as well as the larger screen size. We like them in IT due the low cost, low number issues of failures, Ease of mounting and the excellent design that make a handle at the top for easy transport and the full gambit of ports. Out the 100+ monitors that we have gotten over the last year we have had 1 with issues and they swapped them right away

I've recently been buying these monitors as an alternative to the Dell display. I have found good pricing on them and recently got of couple for less than $150 after a newegg rebate.

Great Monitor for Staring At All Dat
So, given our profession, we spend a lot of time interfacing with monitors. Basically. everything we do is looking at a screen. So why not have a good one? Or three?
These things help tremendously. They have a great viewing angle and they look fantastic.

Solid monitor, excellent value for money. The only disappointing thing is that it does not have an actual DVI port on the unit itself -- you have to use the HDMI-to-DVI cable that is provided with it.

Ordered a dozen over the last year for users and they can't stop thanking me for getting such an awesome monitor. I even ordered one for myself at home and when the savings is back up I will order a second one for myself! Just wished they had Display ports.

OK monitor
These monitors are cheap and effective. They're realy nothing special. They don't adjust much, but have a good viewing angle and good picture. They have the annoying feature of sometimes not detecting correctly right away.

Nice Monitor - Poor Sound Integration
While the monitor is high quality the speakers are not. Even setting the volume on the monitor to 100% produces unsatisfactory results.

Great Buy
Great monitor for triple monitor gaming setup
HDMI/VGA/DVI setups
It's a great monitor, and I'll definitely be looking to ASUS again for my next monitor, but wait till it's on sale if you can. ASUS products always seem to be going on sale. The whites are very white and the blacks very crisp and detailed. Vivid picture quality was what I was searching for and I got it in this Monitor.

Best decision ever made.
I have distributed over 28 of these monitors throughout my industry and have had zero failure rate to date. I have found this model to be economical and reliable. These Asus monitors have the connectivity features that allows me to use these monitors for a variety of applications.
