Listen OR charge. Not both at same time
It works for connecting Pixel 6 to car stereo via AUX port until the usb is connected to charge. With the usb connected, this introduces noise so that the sound is drowned out. I do not recommend this product if you need to charge and connect T to car AUX port to listen. If there are certain types of stereo cable needed to make it work properly, I did not find this in any Belkin information.,

Works well but poorly designed.
I just purchased this adapter it did exactly what it claimed to do. On the other hand, the edges of the plastic adapter case are SO SHARP that they scratched the screen of my brand new Galaxy S21 Ultra. I have terrible ADHD and need headphones on low volume when I sleep. I slept with my new phone plugged into my new charge/audio adapter and my phone had a deep cut in my new phone screen! I'm not just being picky about an otherwise great product. The edges of the plastic are just seriously sharp. This quality issue should be addressed.

I like how much you can do with such a small adapter. I can charge my phone while listening to music and it doesn't drain my battery! What's not to love? With almost every plug changing to USB-C, this comes in really handy.

Happy with this one
So far, so good. These typically work for a couple of weeks then crap out but this Belkin one seems solid. It has kept my iPad Pro charged while I use a DAW and a MIDI keyboard controller. I’m happy. It beats Apple’s camera connector dongle, hands down.

Great idea!
This CONNECT USB-C Audio + Charge Adapter is a great idea. Before using this charger adapter, I was unable to charge my phone and use my favorite headphones at the same time. This fixed that problem. I can now use the headphones I love and not have to worry about battery level. It is a quality product with the usb-c ports clearly marked for charging and headphones.

More than just audio!
I received this Belkin CONNECT USB-C Audio + Charge Adapter thinking that the audio USB-C port would only work with USB-C headphones. To my surprise, this adapter allowed me to charge my phone while accessing files on a USB-C flash drive connected to the other port.

A Simple, Useful USB-C Splitter/Adapter
This little device allows one to listen to music through the USB-C port while charging a device. There is nothing complicated about it - just plug it in as labeled by icons on the ports. It appears to be well built and looks nice too.

Great USB C add-on!
This has been a great addition to my USB C phone. The ability to use wired headphones and charge the device is great. Excellent build quality, although, I would have preferred a soft touch plastic instead of the hard shiny finish currently employed. The charging port and headphone ports are designated with little icons. Another nice touch would have been the markings on both sides for easy identification. Overall another excellent product from Belkin.

Belkin quality and practicality
Belkin consistently makes practical enhancements to products you use everyday and this is another one. Like other Belkin products it's very well made with good, secure connectors and input jacks. It's handy to have a the split USB-C connectors in so many ways, in the car and around home with my PC when you need an extra USB connection - it seems you can never have enough. It's small and light for travelling with a laptop or to use with your smartphone when you need to charge it and you need an extra USB connection.

Great Little Dongle
I often use my cellphone to provide background music, then end up with a dead phone by the end of the event. This adapter allows me to plug the phone into the sound board while at the same time plugging the phone into my charger. Nice!

Good product
This is a niche product that I put in my car with my back up charger and back up earbuds. I use mostly wireless charging and earbuds so the total amount of use will be minimal but if needed it'll fit the bill.

Well made adapter
I'm glad I found this Belkin USB-C adapter. I was always hesitant to use my usb to tether to my car stereo unless my phone was fully charged. It works as it should with no issues. The connectors and cables are well made and fit my smart phone perfectly.

Finally, I can charge my phone and listen on my headphones at the same time!
I have a Google Pixel 3 and like many newer phones, it does not have the traditional (and obsolete, I guess) 3.5mm headphone jack. If you also have a phone like this, you're stuck either using expensive bluetooth headphones when the USB port is taken for charging, or using the speakers on the phone and disturbing others around you.
Not any more! This adapter from Belkin works great, allowing you to plug in for charging, and use your USB earphones. Finally!

I received this product and am pleasantly surprised by it. The product is simple, built well and works just as described. I have a Google Pixel 3XL which is notoriously picky with chargers. I was able to utilize this adapter with the factory charging cable to rapid charge the phone while listening to music through usb-c headphones. No complaints at all, does it's job as it should.

Perfect use for a small "problem"
With the headphone jack going away in phones and headphones switching to type c, this solves the issue of wanting to be able to listen to music and charge the phone at the same time. I won't use this often, but it serves a purpose. Most of the time I just use wireless charging at my desk, but this works on the go when I use portable charger at the same time. Good size and easy to use.

Simultaneously Charge and Listen on Android Phones
I couldn't wait to get my hands on the Belkin Connect F7U081btBLK. Finally, a high-quality adapter that allows me to listen to music and charge my phone simultaneously. Sure, there are a lot of cheap adapters on the web that claim to do the same as the Belkin. I have tried several, but they usually have poor sound quality or hiss/static in the background. Not the Belkin F7U081btBLK. The sound quality is excellent. My RockStar USB-C headphones sound the same using the Belkin F7U081btBLK charge and audio adapter as when directly connected to the phone. No static or hiss. Just clean sound at the same volume.
Setup is simple. Simply plug the adapter into the USB-C port of the phone and connect the charger on the right and headphones on the left to the clearly marked dedicated ports.
While the setup is simple and the sound quality excellent, the adapter will only Cable Charge on my Android phone. I used the phone manufacturer's OEM charger and cable that was packaged with my phone but the Belkin F7U081btBLK adapter will not support Fast Charge. As soon as the charger is plugged directly into the phone Fast Charge works as expected. While this is a disappointment, the ability to still charge the phone slowly and listen to high quality audio at the same time is a benefit and is useful for flights, long car trips... I really like the Belkin product but the slow Cable Charging lags just behind the battery drain on the phone when watching movies. Thus, I use this when listening to audio only.

Time Tested Quality
I received this about a week ago and wanted to try it out to the fullest before giving me review. I really like usbc compared to many other older options. This splitter is very handy in that I have used it for various uses for some of my devices like headphones, keyboard, phone, etc not to mention charging uses as well... very pleased and amazing how even smaller items, like this can make bigger electronic items more enjoyable because of their function

Working with this adapter for a couple weeks. Works as advertised for power and audio. Also tried with power and USB SD card adapter, and it works great! Planning to try with other USB devices.

This is a simple yet very effective solution to the problem of not having the option to charge the phone while using wired headphones. While traveling, I was forced to use wireless headphones so I could keep the phone charging which presented the obvious problem of the headphone batteries dying. Now I can hook in AND charge the phone. Worked great.

Nice adapter
I received this adapter a few weeks ago and it has been performing well. It is convenient to be able to listen to music and charge my phone while in the car. If I were forced to find something negative it would be that I'd like to see the DuraTek shielding on the cable. Other than that I like it a lot!

Solves a Problem I didn't really know I had
This adapted solves a problem I didn't really know I had. When I saw it, I said to myself, yeah, I need that! If your phone has a USB-C plug and no separate headphone jack, this allows you to charge your phone and listen to music at the same time. It is genius! Like all Belkin products, this is top of the line and well made. You do not need to worry if this is some cheap Chinese knock off. It is the real deal.

This is a simple device, and does what it should. Charge the phone and use your headphones when you need both. It also does not interfere with the controls on the headphone cord. It worked well, and never skipped a beat.

Great Idea, Just Not Very Useful For Me Personally
This is another great item from Belkin but it's only useful if you use wired headphones/earbuds. I personally use earbuds and tend to lean towards Bluetooth rather than wired items. I have placed this adapter in my car with a set of wired earbuds just in case I don't have a wireless option. May use them more than I think I would...will have to see.

Great product. I found that if I applied some sticky tape I could stick it to my phone case allowing me to have it our of the way when playing mobile games. It works great if you don't have wireless headphone and want to still charge your phone. It's light weight and is easy plug and play.

Great idea!
I received this to review the product and write an honest review. When I heard about the concept before receiving it, I thought it was great. I can listen to my music AND charge it same time. When I received the product. I saw the adapter is for the USB-C plug and has two plugs attached. One to charge and one to listen to music. Great idea. But, what if the customer wants to use a regular set of headphones with headphone jack. The plugs are only good for two USB C ports. It'd be better in my opinion if it was a USB C for the charger and 3.5 mm headphone jack. Great idea though.

Not sure what this is for with 2 USB-C ports. Why send this to test and not explain what it is designed to do? The music devices I use don't charge via USB-C. The unit I see online at least has a headphone jack. Where are the instructions?

A must have accessory for today's demands
Very lightweight and nice design.
Sometimes you just need to do two things at once,
like downloading big files to a usb type c and charging
your phone at the same time.
The only thing I found is that Warp Charge devices
such the One plus 7, are not able to charge above 1000ma.other than that it works flawlessly every time.
If you want to attach a keyboard and mouse, this is
definitely a good choice. I have several belkin gadgets
and they always last forever.

How crazy the took our headphone jack and left us with the choice of charge OR listen.
The Belkin Audio+Recharge solution is fantastic. Just plug in the phone, charger and headphones. That's it. It doesn't even matter which C port you use, they are interchangeable.

When I heard about the adapter before receiving it I thought it was a great idea. I can listen to my music and charge it same time. I have totally bought into the USB C, so I love and needed this product. When I listen to my music on headphones before this adapter, I would have to stop just to charge the battery up again. This takes care of that problem!

Great USB-C Addition
It never dawned on me how often I could use multiple USB connections until I received the Belkin Connect USB-C Audio+Charge Adapter. It is now connected to my new tablet all day long. I use my tablet throughout the day, and it needs recharging while it is in use. Since I enjoy using my wireless trackball with my tablet, this has been an invaluable asset to my daily routine.

Worked great - for a week
Initially the adapter worked as desired, it kept my iPad charged while I also had an iRig HD2 connected. Now it changes to “Not Charging within 2 seconds of plugging it in, even without anything connected to the port labeled for “audio” .

Excellent piece of hardware.
Excellent adapter, I used few differents one and they all heats up and make me disconnected then do to the danger of fire. But the Belkin adapter keeps normally well.
