Smaller than expected
I thought I was buying the full size charger, but this is smaller and takes a lot longer to charge. It’s good to travel with while out, but not for a full charge.

This adapter (specifically, the adapter or "brick" component) runs hot even while laptop is in sleep mode. It runs VERY hot if using the laptop with the adapter connected. Works fine otherwise.

Good travel charger for usb-c laptop
Works great, love the wide-but-slim pancake form factor for fitting in my bag, and also like the rounded edges so you can do the wrap around with the cable. The little clip to hold the cable in place while stowed is better than the old velcro ones that get stuck on everything. Also appreciate the little light on the end for finding the plug when the cable is stuffed under the bed. Honestly can't believe I have several nice things to say about a dang charger

Looks like a compact device, but they don't show that it comes with a thick power cable that doesn't roll up neatly on the device. Doesn't plug directly into the socket.

What pieces of junk!
I am a (probably soon to be former) loyal customer. Their chargers are poor quality. I must have had a dozen fail for various reasons over the years. I have had TWO of this kind fail. Love you can plug it into a USB 2.0 port but they are so fragile that they break easier than light bulbs! The cynic in me thinks this is a racket by Dell but in any event unless you do not move your laptop or do not want to buy MANY extra chargers, AVOID!

Charger broke during regular use.
I have been happily using this charger for over a year. The 65W is a must if you plan on using any hubs with several peripherals.
HOWEVER, just over 15 months with the product, the USB-C pin broke apart from the charger when I was taking out the laptop during regular use. I was informed that it only has a 1 year warranty and Dell would not stand by their product so I will be looking at other options for chargers going forward.
This lack of quality should be concerning if you are looking to purchase this charger.

Dell you can do better than this.
I hesitate to write this review as I feel it will not promote any improvements to the design. The overall design of this power cord is similar to many others. There is a detachable cord and there is a transformer piece with a permanent DC cord connected to the transformer. The DC cord is terminated with a USB C connector on the end. They did a good job with the connection of the DC cord to the transformer by making the connection to the transformer into a 90 degree angle and recessing it into the housing. This provides strain relief for the connection which greatly reduces the risk of damaging the cable. The main reason for my two star rating is the AC portion of the power cord. I recognize that they make a variety of different AC cords that terminate with plugs for the various electrical standards in countries around the world but this leads to a cumbersome accessory to carry around with a laptop. I have a high end XPS-13. It is an extremely nice design that is powerful, compact and light. Screen real estate is fantastic with InfinityEdge display but this whole laptop experience is diminished when I have to throw this power adapter in any type of carrying case. It would be far better if the AC plug and transformer were one unit with only a single DC cable coming out of the transformer. The DC portion of the cable is much more flexible and lightweight compared to the multi-conductor AC portion of the cable. The AC portion is thick and stiff so wrapping it around the transformer is not an option. You can neatly wrap the DC portion around the transformer as seen in the photo but the AC portion can only be tossed into your bag in a bunched up heap. Dell you can do better than this.
