Rated 5 out of 5 by from nullThis just works. Raspberry PI? Yep. Linux? Yep. Windows 10? Yep. Small plug and play, gets you up and running pretty quick. That said would hate to rely on this as my main adapter.... prefer a hardware install with antennas etc over a USB dongle style

Rated 5 out of 5 by from nullNot my first choice in adapters. We have an internal wifi card failing in a laptop and i had heard good things about this little adapter (out of the box support for both linux and android - not tested by me) and i saw a cheap price so I bookmarked it and eventually bought it. The employee was estatic that her wifi was finally working again, but when I purchased one for home.... I ran into a few things. First I would like to start with the good, it was cheap, it is very low profile, and it gets the job done. With that being said, i took the adapter 1 floor and 10 feet away from the router. It was showing the router in Windows, I was able to try and join the router with 3 bars in windows, but i kept getting the dreaded unable to connect error. So i tried reinstalling the drivers, power cycling the router a few times, and then i eventually gave up and was able to connect that pc with both a dual band rosewill adpater as well as a linksys wireless g from back in the day. Okay so maybe it doesn't like heights... I put it in the same room about 10-20 feet away from the router and it works fine, but I am only getting a signal strength of 3 bars (again in windows). Other adapters get 4 to 5 plugged into the same exact pc with the same exact OS. Maybe I got a bum adapter, but I think this thing just doesn't have strength which is understandable for its size. If you are looking for a cheap low profile adapter for a laptop and are within 50 feet of the WAP, I would recommend this adapter, but for me I will dish out the extra 10 and go with a bigger model.
