Great Shredder
This is a great shredder for home use. It's efficient, quiet & powerful. The micro-cut blades do a great job go obliterating any documents & the storage capacity of the bin is excellent. This is the best shredder I have ever used at home but one slightly frustrating annoyance is its run-time; it's supposed to run for 10 minutes before needing to cool down but, in practice, this time varies between 5 & 10 minutes. If you can live with that (I can) then it's a great machine & good value for money.

great shredder
very good shredder, it is very quiet and being able to shred 9 pages at a time is good, I normally do about 6 pages each time, the bin fills up after about 60 pages shredded

They really are good Fellowes !
Fellowes always makes a great product. The 450M shredder does a great job and the p-5 cut size should give anyone confidence that their documents are destroyed. The only draw back is a 10 minute on time and 20 to 30 minute off time. So "power" shredding is not for this model.

Nice solid built shredder
After spending much time researching all types of shredders from different manufacturers, I always came back to the Fellowes Brand and glad I did. After the shredder was delivered and installed, I was very surprised on just how quiet it was during the shredding process. It has a very solid feel, and I like it's performance. Much better than my previous Royal Unit. I would definitely recommend this product.

Second Fellowes purchase - love this shredder
Had a small problem with my very old Fellowes shredder (which worked flawlessly for years) and emailed the company. After a few very fast responses from Customer Service I decided to purchase a new Fellowes shredder rather than repairing. The agent provided suggestions on a comparable model and because I had previous (not so good) experience with non-Fellowes shredders) and also because I researched all the brands on a few websites I found that 'hands-down' Fellowes had the least problems and best reviews so I ordered it. My shredder arrived today and it works perfectly (had a pile of documents piled up to shred.)
