Horrible design
Horrible design flaw with this adapter. The end will break off in the laptop jack which will result in you having to buy a new adapter and hope to get the broken end out of the jack. If you can't, get ready to pay through the nose to get a computer technician to replace the power jack on your laptop. $$$

Why is the cord so short? Very poor design for use
Block is too big to be an end connection fitting! Cord is too short to be used anywhere except a desk. These fools are worse than Apple engineers. They prolly use the competitor’s brand. Well it charges the dang thang so I give it 4 stars.

Happy with Lenovo AC Wall Adapter
There is not much to review with an AC Wall Adapter. Either it works or it doesn't. I purchased the adapter so that I would not have to use one of the USB ports on my new computer. I do have to review the excellent service I got from being a Lenovo member. The chat was easy and due to my membership, I got a quote with a tiny discount. The product was delivered quickly and in good shape.

Appears to be a decent product, however I purchased to replace the new wall adapter that came with new Lenovo that lasted only about 3 years. Adapter shorted out when wires broke from normal movement near where wires connect to wall plug. Hope this one lasts longer.

I ordered this charger to replace the original one that came with my wife's laptop. The original one worked great until our new puppy chewed clean through the wire, and then it didn't work so great. The new charger gets the job done. It even added 50 extra horsepower and made the laptop pop a wheelie and cut a flip the first time she plugged it in! To say the least it's certainly improved our marriage. The shipping was pretty fast too. All in all it's a quality product at a fair price. Thanks Lenovo!

Lenovo 45W AC Wall Adapter is best choice
I lost the original charger that came with my Lenovo Flex laptop. In desperation to keep working I bought a universal charger off the shelf of a big box retail store. It worked ok for a while but increasingly became difficult to maintain a connection for the battery of the laptop to receive a charge, to the point that I thought I damaged the internal power connector of the laptop. Not giving in to worse assumptions I bought a Lenovo 45W AC Wall Adapter from Lenovo. It worked effectively from the moment I received and started using it, and a still is with no reason to be concerned it will go the way of the universal charger. I am elated that my laptop is in fact not damaged and all it needed was an OEM charger/wall adapter. The price of the Lenovo adapter was very reasonable.

Our dog Liam decided that the adapter which came with my husband's laptop smelled like a doggie bone. So....he ate it! I ended up going online and bought a replacement adapter from Lenovo, it worked so I got another one a few days later. That way, if Liam gets hungry again, we will have a replacement already!

Fast Option in a Pinch
I took my new puppy to work and he ate my power chord! Luckily this was a Friday so I had a few days to figure something out. I ordered this chord and chose express shipping. I received the chord on Tuesday and of course was able to return to work. Chord is working great and no more puppy at the office.

My Cat Chewed My Adapter!
My beloved cat, chewed the original wall adapter that came with my Lenovo, and the laptop kept saying it was the battery, and conked out completely. I took a chance to just buy another adapter, before getting it serviced--so glad I did, since it wasn't the battery, it was the adapter my cat had chewed into!
For me no other adapter could replace a Lenovo, but a Lenovo!

This item works great. I like tje portability of this charger. It plugs directly into the electric wall outlet which is very important to me because the charger that came with my laptop got wet do to a flash flood and unfortunately part of it was on the floor and shorted out when it got wet. Pluging this directly into the wall outlet helps to prevent this in the future. Its worry free and works fine.

The charger is very convenient to carry with and the size is small enough to go through the back of my bed. The charging speed is not bad, it is enough for me. The only “problem” might be that it gets too hot when charging for a long time (I think that happens to all the charger?. Overall I am satisfy with the charger. My original power supply for my laptop stopped charging more than a trickle of energy after just a few years. After that, I used the power supply from another Lenovo laptop we had that was compatible. When that one failed, I couldn't use either laptop. Good charger, but design could be better
Charger does exactly what you need it to do. Design-wise, I prefer the 60W. I think that might be the one I had originally with the charger and the prongs fold in to keep them safe. This one does not. Other than that, fine charger and gets the job done.

Horrible design Adapter
In 3 years, I have broken 4 adapters. Now I'm contemplating ordering another adapter, or WIsely buy another brand laptop. My 15 yr old thinkpads charger is still standing strong. wonder who designed this horrible product, and I'm surprised Lenovo has made no effort to improvise. Lenovo you lot a loyalist over this. Customer Service sucks too.

The adapter design is very poor as it has just 2 pins (instead of 3 pins in the conventional adapter) which leads to loose connections very often. I highly suggest to use a traditional adapter with 3 pins from any manufacturer as it is more robust in all respects.

This is a very unique wall adapter unlike the rest. The design of the product is very simple and you don’t have to worry about the wire breaking suddenly. It is also very cost effective. The unboxing of the product is also frustration free. I am expecting it to give me a long life.

Broke after 4 months
Manufactured in 09/20, this charger came nee with a new IdeaPad 3 bought mid December. It broke today... I unplugged it and the metal part didn’t come out. I contacted Lenovo and told it ‘must have been damaged’ and that I am ‘responsible for service fee and replacement.’ I asked for the part # so I could order another one and was disconnected. I was shocked as I was neutral on the problem just looking to resolve it so I can get it charged/use it. This was my first Lenovo laptop. And will be my last sad to say.

New charger worked great as a replacement for the original Lenovo charger that came with my ideapad 330S. I had originally ordered an off-brand charger from Amazon as a replacement (slightly lower price). However, the generic charger shorted out (for lack of a better term) my laptop, rendering it unusable. I use my ideapad as a secondary laptop for school, so when it finally came time to use again, I placed an order for the Lenovo charger with the (skeptical) hope it alone would fix my ideapad. After receiving the new Lenovo charger, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it "fixed" my ideapad instantly, making it useable again as soon as it was plugged in. Lesson learned: Not worth saving a few bucks by purchasing a generic charger.

This is a wonderful product. What I was using before was a universal charger and it pretty much stopped working after 2 months of use and never took my laptop to full charge. But getting this charger taken it to full charge, its flexible with a long cord and also very portable and easy to travel with.

They work, but.....
I don't know why, but something about the way they make these cables makes them tangle up like spaghetti after only a couple of weeks. Second one I've had that has done this.

Terrible Adapter, Doesnt Stay Plugged In
I don't know who designed this adapter, but the plug does not fit tight into the outlet and falls out with any slight movement. I bought an extra one when I purchased my new laptop, but it's just the same. Also the cord is very short causing me to pull it out very often.

I bought this adapter to replace the power cord that I misplaced while moving. It came in the mail a few days later, but guess what, it didn't fit at all. I specified to customer service the make, model number and serial number and this is what I received in the mail. I sent it back to Lenovo and got a full refund in a few days.

Lenova wall adapter, got a great deal on price
Got a great deal on this Lenovo power adapter. I ordered and received it quickly. I always have problems with those adapters and it doesn't matter what brand. My son told me to unplug it as soon as the battery is fully charged and that not having it plugged in while in use a much as possible will mean less wear and tear on the cord. He said it would also be good for the battery if I fully charged and discharged as much as possible. So far so good with that Idea. Everything else is good.

My wife and cat had an accident on the couch that caused the a/c adapter plug to be damaged. This was purchased as a replacement. My only issue was that it was difficult to tell from Lenovo what adapter I should purchase. Someone on the computer it should say 45W AC Wall Adapter, so I did not have to purchase on appearances alone.

Charger is poorly constructed, but laptop is fine!
Ideapad 310 Laptop is a good bang for the buck but charger appears to be poorly constructed. Also the AC supply block is big and cumbersome, which takes up too much space. Sad because the laptop itself is a pretty good economical machine.

I had to replace the wall adapter for my Lenova ideapad 100. I picked up a universal adapter replacement at a local Best Buy and even though on the package it stated that it would fit my Lenova laptop, when I brought it home, I found that it didn't. A search at Office Depot turned up a different universal adapter and, once again, it didn't fit my laptop. So, I ended up placing an order directly with Lenova and, although I was annoyed that I had to do so, I was pleasantly surprised that the cost was a lot cheaper than the universal adapters in the stores, the shipping was free and, it arrived in a couple of days.

Horrendous charger
The Ideapad 100s is otherwise such a wonderful product, it's an even more terrible shame than it otherwise would be that it's tied to such a miserable piece of equipment. The interior wiring is simply trash; without any unusual stress it has decided to cease connecting its inside bits. I'll be very thankful when the company finds a decent alternative.

My laptop has the tiniest plug that I have ever seen on a device its size for the charger. I lost mine in the airport and all of the stores that I went to for the replacement did not have what I needed. It also was soo much cheaper through Lenovo, and it was exactly what I needed!

Lenovo can't be used with a universal adapter
It is absolutely mandatory to have an adapter to have the computer work unless you want to keep changing batteries - because Lenovo computers are not compatible with a universal adapter, unless you buy their adapter, you should throw your computer away

My daughters laptop would not turn on. I tested the adapter with a voltage meter and found that the voltage was very low, apparently not enough to charge the battery even when we left it on charge for two days. The easiest fix was to buy a new adapter. Reliable replacement from original manufacturer.

Great product, works well. This is my spare charger that I carry around with me in my backpack so that I can keep the original charger that came with my laptop in my office. The 45W charger does charge my laptop a little bit slower, but that doesn't bother me because I have my laptop on a power saving mode anyways, to prolong the battery life.

I needed an extra charger for my Lenovo Flex 5 14", and wanted something to take advantage of the designated power port, rather than using the USB-C. This works perfectly, and is light with a fairly small block to boot.

Simple Design Eliminates Problems
I ordered this item on a Saturday due to my old adapter no longer connecting properly. I received the item on Wednesday, it’s new structure of an all in one changing block eliminated my charging connection issue as there is not additional piece to plug in like the two piece setup that came with the computer. Only criticism is the cord is shorter than the original.

This is the third adapter I have had to purchase! The plastic tip on the insert portion is so fragile/brittle that with the slightest bump it breaks pieces off of it. Then the charger will not operate unless held into place with duct tape. I LOVE my Lenovo laptop, I just wish the adapter was of better quality with a metal reinforced tip like other brands I have had in the past.

It never hurts to keep an extra power cord adapter
Excellent quality. I looked on Amazon before I went to the company to buy my power cord adapter and it was actually less expensive for me to buy the actual original brand of power cord adapter. the Amazon reviews are kind of sketchy but I buying straight from the manufacturer gives me a rest of mine that my laptop is going to last a long time and stay running smoother because I don't have some knock off brand that I don't know how good the quality is.
This is my first one over product and I'm sold on the brand and the quality. It fits my business needs perfectly!

I had an urgent situation being out of town for several days, leaving the AC Adaptor behind, and needing to use my Lenovo L340 for a lot of business activity, I could not find an adaptor at any local businesses that sold Lenovo products. The adapter works fine without any problems. What I learned after the purchase was the necessity to download and install an important update to my Bios which resolved the problem I was having with my original charger failing to perform and eventually not recharging.
Such was a failure on my part NOT to install the update immediately after receiving notice from Lenovo.

The charger arrived in 3 days and came well packaged. The box was packed with extra paper to prevent shifting and sliding. Unfortunately, it did not change my laptop but through no defect. Best overall for the money. Don't buy knockoffs on amazon that will just break at the tip where it plugs in. Ive bought 3 off amazon only to have them break. My kid is a little rough with the chargers but this has handled all of it no problem

Oh My Aching Back!
I have a Lenovo laptop at the office. The adapter is plugged in behind my desk and I have to bend and twist to removed the cord when I take my lap top home. For less than two benjamins I can now save my aching back.

Not electrically rated for the 510 Ideapad
According to its own nameplate, the 510 notebook requires 3.25 amps at 20 volts. That's 65 watts. How does Lenovo specify a 45 watt unit for this machine? My 510 came with a 65 watt adapter. The average person is going to buy this device and it's probably not going to last very long. Lenovo, please rationalize how a 45 watt AC adapter will support a 65 watt requirement. I would buy the 65 watt unit but I'm not willing to wait 5 weeks for it.

Our original charger broke courtesy of a child tripping over it, and surprisingly this OEM charger was about the same price as an off-brand (and far better than HP adapters I've had to replace in the past, with the assurance that it wouldn't cause any problems. I recommend it.

Flimsy changing port
This plug was purchased to replace my original which got bent. I only purchased the laptop itself back in November and this was the 3rd cord I've had (Got another through Amazon and this too is now broken. The part that goes into the computer is too easily bent! I have owned a laptop previous to this one for 10 years and never had these kinds of issues. Have this one for 6 months and i now need a 4th cord.

We somehow managed to bend irrepairably the low voltage plug on the original power supply. Since this replacement power supply is relatively inexpensive, it didn't seem worth the trouble to acquire and solder on a new plug. This is an exact replacement.

I am glad that power adaptors are available to replace older models but the Lenovo metal plugin connection to the computer is poor. It seems to break easily. Also, the design of the entire adaptor is poor. The charger body is heavy and can pull the connection from the computer. This has been consistent over more than 1 Lenovo computer that I have owned. I seriously would not buy another Lenovo computer until the power adaptor is redesigned

This is the second one I have ordered. I got my niece a laptop for the holidays in 2019 and she has a habit of plugging it in the worst possible places where they meet their untimely death be it from her Dog chewing on it or herself tripping over it. Lenovo 45W AC Wall Adapter is Fast and Convenient
The Lenovo 45W AC Wall Adapter is apparently so good that someone stole the one that I received with my Lenovo Flex 11 tablet computer; therefore, I had to purchase another one from you. It cost less than $20.00. However, before contacting Lenovo, I tried purchase the charger from various sources on the Internet, and I believe that the price was substantially higher -- about twice as expensive. I don't want to mention any names because I may have to do business with these other companies in the future, but readers can verify this for themselves.
Notwithstanding the above comments, I'm not an engineer, but would be nice if it charger could be redesigned so that the prongs that plug into the wall outlet could fold in so they won't poke into things if you have to carry the charger around like I usually do. Nevertheless, not withstanding this problem, the charger is fast and the cord is long enough for me to keep it plugged in while I am working.

It works
I used a multimeter to test the faulty charger for 20DCV and the reading was intermittent. I thought my meter probe was not making a good connection because the adapter plug had such a small hole in which to insert the red probe. Eventually the adapter died and no voltage was indicated. Moral of the story: Just buy a new adapter.

Wouldn't you know it...someone in my house accidentally tripped over the cord to my ideapad the very week our school district sent everyone home from school! I am a mom who substitute teaches, so I needed to find ways to make money online from home so I could still take care of quarrantined family. Well they don't sell this kind of AC adapter at Best Buy. Went online and, probably due to the quarrantine, Lenovo did not have it in stock so I ordered from someone else. I am STILL waiting for it to arrive and it's been WEEKS. A few days ago I checked back on Lenovo and it was in. I ordered it. Same day the other company finally contacts me- says theirs has being shipped out and is on the way. Do you know Lenovo beat them? Lenovo got it to me in like three days! Now maybe I can earn some money for my family. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

The Lenovo 45W AC Wall Adapter is a suitable charger. However, it lacks basic functions you would expect from and modern day charging cable. What I mean by that is the two metal prongs are stationary and does not fold into the block itself. Though this may seem like a small issue, it can be a big issue because it can tear your storage bag you decide to put it into. Thus, making it a little bit challenging to carry with you. Lastly, the charger will suffice and do it's job. I find it more than adequate to charge my Yoga in a suitable time parameter. I would recommend this charger for anyone who is needing a simple fix and nothing to fancy.

Lenovo is the best and very trustworthy!
I felt confident buying my charger from Lenovo since that is the brand of my laptop. I'm sure I could have found a charger comparable from a big box store but I wanted to stay with what I know works and is a good product as well as being perfectly compatible with my laptop. Thank you very much!

Wall adapter for laptop
This product was as described. I highly recommend you see on parts and accessories go along with your laptop by searching out its warranty. It came sooner than I thought and was well packaged so there would be no damage. It also came directions in case you needed them and warranty information. Also most packaging was recyclable which is a positive. Overall happy with my experience.

This adapter is specifically made for my computer and works very well. I feel it is important to have the precise wattage recommended for the computer because the wrong one could eventually cause problems with it.
