Lenovo Essential Wireless Combo Keyboard & Mouse
If you need to get working right of the box this combo is for you. I took on a second income project working for another employer and needed another laptop (check out the Lenovo Thinkpad Carbon X1) and was concerned that I would be spending a lot of time getting a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse setup while travelling for work. I am very happy to report the keyboard and mouse required no setup at all. It works out of the box. The feedback from the keyboard and mouse is very quiet but present, not so loud as to be annoying to others, but enough to let you know your actions are being input. Very discreet, which I like. Lastly the keyboard, mouse and X1 laptop are very lightweight and great for travel. I can fit all three in my Everki backpack with ease.

The keys get stuck very frequently and the keyboard is not comfortable at all! Also there is no physical switch to turn off the keyboard which surely affects the battery life.

I have used a wired keyboard for decades and wanted the freedom from the cable. This was a good choice as I wanted a numeric keypad as well. I miss the Trackpoint built into my prior keyboards, something I use in conjunction with the mouse.

The mouse is cheaply made and is trerrible. It is very jerky and stalls a lot while moving it around. Have tried different surfaces to run it on and they are have the same results.
The keyboard in the combo is just fine. Would not recommend the combo. Only reason I got the combo was to have only mini usb port being used.

The keyboard and mouse are very useful. I bought them along with my ThinkCentre M720 Tiny to cut down on the wires. They're great and very responsive to input. I've found other products, especially ones issued by my workplace, aren't always sufficient, unlike my Lenovo products which I love.

This keyboard has a strange layout, other than that if functions fine. The Delete/home/insert/backspace keys are layed out differently than any other keyboard I've used which makes it awkward to touch type.

Software program would not download. Had to force an OS upgrade with developer code (not a coder - thank you google to get the computer to do basic things, like download a different browser. Come on Lenovo… put the latest operating system on your machines before you send them out.

Great bang for the buck and battery life
Nice keyboard and mouse. I have a very similar version at work that I enjoy, so when it came time to replace the keyboard and mouse at home I wanted the same one. This one isn't "exactly" the same, but the mouse feels good in both hands (I use left or right hand depending on what I am working on). The size of the mouse is perfect, but I wish it was a little heavier. The keyboard is great and the batteries last forever.
For the money I have absolutely no complaints.

Keys get stuck and one of the stands broke
Overall, not very well made. I use this very regularly and some of the keys get stuck. The first key to have this issue was the control key (the most common key that I use. Other keys started to have an issue as well over time. The keys basically get stuck and you have to wait for them to come back up. Or you sometimes need to pry the key back up (especially for the control key). The mouse seems to have periodic lapses. Not terribly often, but when it happens you need to lift the mouse up and then place it down again in order to get it to work.
Although perhaps outside of the scope of a product review is the extreme difficulty in getting a replacement. I called the customer service department which then forwarded me to the warranty department. The warranty department then told me that the product was not under warranty and that I would then need to contact the warranty resolution department and email them proof of purchase. Two things here. 1) If you read the description of this product on the this very webpage it shows that the warranty is for 1 year. Also, I bought this item directly from Lenovo. How do they not have proof that I purchased it?

Substantial and heavier than most wireless keyboards (a plus, since it doesn't wiggle on my desk as much as lighter weight ones. Nice touch in general, but occasionally a bit too sensitive, causing letter to repeat multiple times.

Easy to use; repeated replacement of batteries
While easy to use, the Keyboard battery life is TERRIBLE. Why is this?? Of course the "one on/off' switch as part of the mouse is "convenient" BUT, I have experienced significantly less battery life for the keyboard (vs mouse). If they are both off (or both on), the batteries should drain at the same rate. I have replaced the batteries on the keyboard twice in the first 3 mo of ownership! Yes, I turn off the 'switch' every day.

Disappointing Product Issues
There are issues with this keyboard. It keep repeating typing a character after I have taken my finger of the key. Tried putting dongle in different ports and changing batteries but does not fix issue. Sometimes works great, other times slow.

The keyboard is OK, but the mouse is not working well--It does not synchronize with the keyboard. After checking the setting, the mouse is still not working smoothly. I believe that it is a defective item, and now, it is sitting on the floor. I trust Lenovo’s products with superior technology. However, I am wondering if the keyboard and mouse were contracted out by a third party.
I want a refund; alternatively, please send me another one, such as Lenovo Professional Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo (Part number: 4X30H56796). I will pay the difference after receiving the new one.

Came with my Lenovo desktop. I was not impressed with the keyboard's flimsy manufacture on arrival. My first impression was borne out as certain of the keys began to fail intermittently and finally failed altogether.

I first bought a Logitech combination in the same comparable price range before my recent purchase of this Lenovo Wireless combo. The certain buttons on the Logitech keyboard had to be pressed with more pressure. I hoped it just needed a breaking in period but a couple of weeks later I was still experiencing the same problem. So I decided to purchase this Lenovo Wireless Keyboard and mouse combo, there was no comparison! The keyboard and mouse functions are so smooth and comfortable that I regret not making this purchase from the very beginning.

The Keyboard and Mouse are just a few weeks old but they are working perfectly. I needed a keyboard and mouse to go with a docking station and didn't need anything fancy or expensive. ThinkPad feel Keyboard
Feel like I have a brand new ThinkPad laptop. Some keys do not function on my old Acer laptop. I had this idea to "replace" my keyboard. It works pretty good. I just used my Acer to keep my old junk files, I use my Acer rarely. The Keyboard and mouse are easy to connect to your laptop. I tested on my iMac desktop, it was alright, not that sensitive as on Windows.

Overall this keyboard and mouse is pretty good. I have no issues with the mouse, but find that when I type, I often end up with missing letters because the keyboard doesn't register when I am hitting the keys.

Solid keyboard with a nice key feel. The mouse tracks well. Best of all, it just worked out of the box. The only issue: the keyboard has a number pad and numlock which is great but there is no LED that let's you know if the numlock is on or off. Very annoying as I use the number pad quite often. This is such a basic requirement for keyboards with a number pad, a numlock LED needs to be added to address this design flaw.

The keyboard was defective from day one. The NmLk light never functioned. I called support today, was on the phone almost 2.5 hours, receiving one nonsensical message after another.

Wireless Mouse Keyboard Combo
The top on the mouse comes off very easy, it is almost like it is just sitting there. The cover needs to snap into place to make sure it is secure.
The keyboard is nice. My be an issue if you lose the mouse since that is the unit that has the transceiver for the pair.

Another elegant product from Lenovo, with plenty of key travel distance, but not as slick of a key click as my Lenovo laptops have. The mouse uses one AA battery and the keyboard two AA batteries. That's easier to stock/recharge than my older Lenovo wireless keyboard, which used two AA's and two AAA's. The units are too new to comment on battery life.

Good and well performing KM combo with some quirks
This is a good keyboard and mouse that performs well. The tactile keys on the keyboard are easy to push and the response is quick enabling you to type efficiently. The mouse is basic but functions very well.
What could be better?
(1 The keys are not quiet. Based on my experience with the old Lenovo keyboard K20 I had, I was expecting this keyboard to be similarly quiet. So, I was surprised that see this keyboard is noisy.
(2) The odd placement and design of some of the keys, including the arrow keys, in this form factor. Its strange that Lenovo hasn't changed that over this many years. Other brands design it much better in this same form factor. But this is not a deal breaker for me.

Easy to install!
I was really pleased that the keyboard has the same feel to the keys that are on the carbon thinkpad. Typing is so much easier. The keyboard lies flat and, though lightweight, it is very stable. The mouse is perfect size and works just fine on a table top with no pad needed. Great products!

I was looking for a wireless keyboard with working from home for an indefinite, long duration and was annoyed with Amazon 3rd party inflated reviews and remembered why not check out the manufacturer of my work laptop.
Checked out Lenovo website and they had free shipping and a sale so I ended up getting basic wireless keyboard and mouse for like $25~?

The Lenovo mouse and wireless keyboard work perfectly. I had a previous HP combo but am much happier with the Lenovo combo. I really missed the caps icon on my HP and glad I now have it back. The adjustable height keyboard is also a plus. No complaints on either the mouse or the keyboard. Also really enjoy my relatively new ThinkStation, but then my HP was 13 years old!

No Power Switch
No power switch to turn it off when storing it in the laptop bag while using mouse. It is likely keys will get pressed or stuck while storing it in the laptop bag.
If it wasn't for this problem, I would probably love the keyboard. It has a low profile, almost the same width as the ThinkPad P17, with a good response on the keys.

Second Lenovo wireless keyboard/mouse for me
A Lenovo computer I purchased two years ago came with this keyboard / mouse wireless combination so I have already been using this and it works real well. I recently purchased another Lenovo PC and it came with wired keyboard / mouse so I knew I had to get this set in wireless again. Had no trouble with the driver, windows picked it right up and they started working right off and ever since. For the price of wireless I don't know why anyone would keep the cord connections.

This is a very nice keyboard, but to be honest, I don't utilize any of the special features that are built into it. It is a large, professional business keyboard, and I'm sure is perfect for business use. However, I came across a smaller, backlit keyboard that is a better choice for me. The Lenovo keyboard is great for a professional setting.

Wireless keyboard disaster
Wireless keyboard has unpredictable delays between when keystrokes are pressed and system recognizes it. It's brutal. I was unable to type a single word without spelling errors, as the delay is uneven. I would type uneven, and due to delays, it would interchange letters and turn it into 'uenvne'. Not fun. I put it back in the box and now type only on my laptop keyboard.
Wireless mouse works great though.

Have been using with my Macbook for a month and like the look of the combo and the feel of the mouse, but the keyboard is very frustrating to use because it has an input delay and fails to register approximately 1 in 10 keystrokes.

Use of keyboard and mouse combo
Only problem with this combo is the inability to adjust the keyboard sensitivity seperately from the mouse. I like a fast mouse speed and when I set it that way the keyboard keys go into the repeat mode at the slightest touch. I guess it's a design I'll have to live with.

I desperately needed a new keyboard. Reviews of Lenovo's version were very positive. I made the right choice: The keys are right-sized and well-shaped for fingertips. The keyboard is raised to just the right height in the rear. Keys are very easy to read and the various functions are placed in logical positions. I do miss a light coming on when the CapsLock key is engaged. (There is one at the top of the other side of the keyboard.) The mouse is very comfortable. The switch to turn it on/off is good-sized making it easy to use. Overall, solid products that compliment the wonderful Lenovo all-in-one desktop I also purchased.

Nice action and response and easy to read.
Keyboard action is very nice. Lettering on the keys is large and clear. Function keys are larger and easy to read. Mouse action is superb. I have been having an issue with repeating keys that seems to be related to the wireless signal and not physical stickiness of the keys. It seems to be resolvable by switching USB ports - but there is no clear pattern to what causes or fixes the issues. Other than this, the key board and mouse are working well.
