Bought it for travel, since my new car doesn't have a 115 volt outlet like my last Jeep did - and therefore I needed another source to power up my laptop at the end of the day. I was told I could charge it from the new car's USB port, but haven't tried that yet (will need a USB-A to USB-C cord - not included - to do so).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Good, The Bad and the Ugly. I tried many ways to get a power bank for my Yoga 730. Nothing would work. Tried a few from Amazon. They would charge but shut off after only a few seconds. I finally called Lenovo and they told me which one to buy from them. The good news it does not shut off, the ridiculous news is that it does not have enough power to recharge my device even ONCE. And it is the most powerful one that Lenovo makes. I never understand the rocket scientists at corporations. Why don't they think that someone would want a power bank that would actually completely charge one of their own devices. "This is a true case of the "Good, the Bad, and the Ugly." Lenovo should be embarrassed at the lack of foresight.

Keeps my P50 charged when I travel and cant find a power outlet. It comes with a USB-C cord as well as the P50 rectangle type charger adapter as well. It has support for the older round plug laptops too. If you travel I would buy this it has come handy in a pinch where there is no elec port.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The only game in town This Power Bank which supplies a USB-c to Slimtip adapter is the reason why this Power Bank is the only solution out on the market today (Feb 11 2019) for the X1 Extreme. The problem with the X1 Extreme is that you need a minimum of 65W (or at least I got it to work with that) to charge the laptop with USB-C . The slim Powertip included with this Power Bank on the other hand, will allow you to charge the Lenovo X1 Extreme with 45Ws. I have obtained a 65W Power Bank, and verified this will work. However, BatPower USB-C 65W is the only 65W Power Bank I found, and it was not well built. Until someone puts out a reliable 65W USB-C Power Bank, this light and portable Lenovo Power Bank is your only solution unless you can get the slimtip converter cable and a different 45W USB-C Power Bank (or buy this for the slimtip converter). One other complaint is that I only got one hour of additional use from this Power Bank. When you plug in a Power Bank, 45W cannot charge the battery and run the laptop concurrently. It will just keep the laptop running without draining the laptop battery. Also, the Power Bank wound up hot when it was depleted.

I have used the instructions, I have looked up videos, I have tried to get help from Lenovo. Both this battery pack and my Yoga laptop have been more trouble than they are worth. Save yourself, stay away from Lenovo.

If you do any work in public places like coffee shops, libraries, etc. or you travel a lot, knowing that I can almost double my battery life of my laptop with something that just fits in my hand has been a real relief. You can also charge your battery and laptop simultaneously, which wasn't something I thought could happen.

It doesn’t come with a way to charge it because it needs the laptop USB-C power cord. Do not buy this unless your computer has one of these. I really like that I can leave this plugged in and also charge my phone and headphones.

The P1 already has decent battery life, but this device nearly doubles its runtime. I can literally go for 6-7 hours under load combined with the battery in the P1. Under light usage, I can easy go past 12-14 hours.

My friend borrowed it to use with his MacBook Pro and it worked really well for that. It recharged quickly and holds s charge for a long time. Have really one had to use it once because the battery life is so goos with the machine, but this will come in handy on long trips/ flights, without having to pull out the cord and plug in. Works great, and with the supplied adapter, it works on our older X1 as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good battery to get you through the day. Took this battery out for a spin for the first time this week while at a conference. It worked wonderfully! About halfway through the conference I got down to 47%, so I plugged it in to see how much charge I would get, how long it would take, etc. I got almost a half charge within about an hour and fifteen minutes (while also using the computer). My laptop is the Lenovo C930 Yoga and I was running it taking notes with the screen brightness at about 50%. Some of the keys, especially the left hand, got warm, but not uncomfortably so. This is a good battery and it gave me just enough of a jump to make it through the rest of the day without any worry of the laptop dying. The battery also did not get uncomfortably warm while it was charging up my computer. This will definitely be my new go-to battery. My only missing accessory for it is a carrying case.

I remember the days of "spare batteries" and we are WAY beyond this. The few precious hours I'm actually seated at my desk take care of charging my power bank, laptop, and cell. Now, whether there is a power outage, a poorly designed conference venue, an unanticipated layover, or just a meeting that drags on forever, I can rest easy knowing I've got enough power to keep everything going no matter how long. Lightweight and portable. Easy to use. This thing has it all!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sturdy powerbank - worth the money paid The powerbank is sleek and looks sturdy...have used it a few times after purchase. for some reason, I assumed, it would provide a full charge to the laptop, was able to charge my laptop to 50%. i have a usb-c mobile as well and that gets charged easily too...so, all in all worth the money as it provides emergency support for my laptop. i dont carry my charger to office anymore.
