Rated 5 out of 5 by from null I got a nice Lenovo Legion for engineering college 2 years ago and I've had no problems with that, but the AC adapters keep breaking/failing. This is the second time this adapter has died and I really don't feel like shelling out $100 for another to just die. Do yourself a favor and don't buy this, the charger will fail when you need it the most and no one you know will have a 230W adapter.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from it's a charger i got an email saying i should write a review so here I am - it's a charger. i don't know what else to say, if you need a charger, this'll work fine. got the fancy yellow rectangle thingy that's fun to plug in and the outlet-to-block cord that's identical to the original. is it exceptional? no. it's like a solid 1/1. it does what it needs to do and it does it pretty well - if you're actually looking for something deeper than that, go read someone else's fancier review.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Yep, it's an adapter! Had to replace my Lenovo Legion 5's AC adapter after I lost it. The new one works great. This model is a different shape than the "slim" adapter model it shipped with, but it is a little cheaper and works just as well.

Wasn't expecting the block to somehow be even more massive than the last one, but it gets the job done, and I guess could also double as a self defense weapon if I ever had the need for one. Also, despite the images, it does come with both sections of the charger–the block and the AC adapter.

I never had a Lenovo but heard great things about them, so I purchased one, other than a black screen once in a while the computer has been fine. About six months ago, I purchased an extra AC Adapter to use my laptop in another room. I can't believe this company sells such great computers, but an important accessory is such junk. The power cord has to be perfectly aligned and Very still to stay connected. As long as I don't move the cord or computer it continues to charge the computer, but move either, and it disconnects.

I bought this as replacement for the one that came with my laptop. It broke after 2 months. The replacement broke after 1 month. It is really sad to see such an excellent computer laid low by such an abysmal adapter. For my first month i was absolutely enchanted by the computer i bought. I am about to buy my third adapter. If it craps out, all my goodwill for this brand will be gone and i will describe Lenovo as the company that builds incredible pieces of art, because you sure as heck are not going to be able to use anything they make as a computer because to can't figure out how to make a piece of technology that has existed for 40+ years last more than 4 weeks.

I tried two alternates prior to this purchase, and they did not properly fit the port leading to various issues. This one works fine and you will need more than one charger due to the size of the brick.

My power supply went out after 5 years of continuous use because I hardly ever turned my computer off so I bought 2 different off brand generic chargers the first one only lasted 3 months and the second one only 5 months. Come to find out they were to low of wattage for my computer and the almost ruined my computer. When I purchased this Lenovo 230 watt AC adapter it supplies more power than even the original factory charger did. My computer charges faster and the charger itself doesn’t get hot while it’s charging like all 3 of the other ones did. In all this is the best charger I’ve ever bought so it was definitely worth every penny I paid for it.

Spoke with a sales consultant to make sure it was compatible. The process was quick with almost no waiting. The battery seems well built and runs cool, at least compared to Dell's that I've owned in the past.

Easy to insert connection into laptop, like a USB-C connection, but bigger. Cons: It is yuuuuuge! It will add weight to your backpack. It is expensive ... I think they charge per lb. :)
