The 10E itself is already a bit more rugged than many other tablets that are not designed for kids. It's edges are rubbery and the screen seems more durable. It doesn't crack easily. But with the addition of this case, that makes it even more protected. The edges are squishy and bendable, so they absorb shock and drops well. The case is very lightweight and keeps the full screen and side buttons/charger port accessible.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple, but effective I just purchased the 10e tablet, and I wanted a protective guard for it from day one. I purchased this cover along with the tablet, so I knew it would be the right fit, and the cost was comparable to other cheaper-made products. The tablet snapped into the cover very nicely, and it felt comfortable, without being too bulky. I like that the corners are reinforced, since that's usually the point at which these things land when they are accidentally dropped. This cover felt like an extension of the tablet, and didn't interfere with the use of the tablet. I recommend this cover if you are looking for decent protection, without being a large, bulky grip, like a kids tablet cover.

The case does not block the speakers. It provides a secure grip that eliminates the slippery feel of most tablets. The corners have additional reinforcement not found in other cases. It is well worth the price.

I scrubbed the internet and my go-to stores looking for a case that would fit the model of Chromebook tablet I had purchased—and would provide decent drop protection—for about 10% of the total I had paid for the tablet itself. Everything on the web was so pricey I was getting discouraged then I stumbled across this product, which was not advertised very well, so I felt lucky and victorious to have reached my all of my price, fit, and protection goals.

Which, as a fidgeter, I have and will. And I'm 6'4" so it has a long way to go! There is that odd clear plastic rectangle on the back but after my confusion over its existence I found it nice to fidget with.

The tablet also sits slightly below the edges, making the soft edging the first thing that would hit a surface, not the glass below it. This case does not protect the screen itself, so you'll need a tempered glass protective sheet. That's fine, especially for the price point of this case (if you catch it on sale) and the very protective nature of it.

Hopefully it will provide adequate protection while allowing easy access to the screen since my daughter loves to draw, I definitely don't want a bky case that would make drawing difficult.

Corners are nice and bulk to absorb impact. Easy to put on and remove, doesn't feel like you're gonna break the tablet. Nice cutouts for all the buttons/ports/mic/speaker.

My son already dropped his on concrete a few times and it survived fine. The manner it bounced off the corners (which are well protected) showed how fortunate it was to have the protection. Of course, there is no screen protection, but generally things are dropped on a relatively fat surface and this will do great for protecting for that. Screen protectors tend to be difficult to apply and interfere with touch screens anyway.

This has more of a professional look and is sleek and nice. Only complaint is that the design does not include a stand. However, you won’t find a better case for the money.

It still makes me a little nervous if my son drops the tablet, I'm not sure if the case will fully prevent the tablet from shattering, and for that price I feel like I should be a little more confident in the product.

Social media customer service is polite, but useless, and refers the matter to another department that has yet to follow up. Other customers have relayed very similar experiences on Lenovo's Facebook page. The overall impression is of a disorganized and unreliable company that took my money without concern about providing the product I paid for. I will have to think long and hard about purchasing another Lenovo product.
