Rated 5 out of 5 by from New battery couldn’t be easier! Right purchase. Slipped into its place on the back of my Lenovo P 53 like a glove. Came 50% charged, and began charging right away. Absolutely no hassle of any kind whether it’s finding, purchase or delivery!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the removable battery on Lenovo computers! I love that Lenovo computers have a removable battery -- my computer is about 5 years old... still works great, but the battery would no longer charge. Went online, purchased a new one, and about a week later I feel like my computer is brand new again (well... lightly used). Thank you Lenovo!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pretty Good My previous battery had started out lasting 8 hours, but decayed to only 1.5 after a while. I got this one as a replacement and it lasts more in the 6 hour range with the screen brightness at max level and active usage. It works pretty well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fair life The battery life for the replacement is not nearly as good as the original was. I could easily get 5 or 6 hours of use on the battery when I purchased and with the replacement 2 hours is the maximum.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A necessary buy for a P51 The P51 (especially with 4K screen) is very power hungry. For airline travel, you'll definitely need this battery. Here's why: The P51 power brick is giant. At about 1.5 pounds, it's luggable. The overall power picture, though, is the machine's weakness. For air travel, I bought this extra battery immediately. When I plug into an AA power port, the machine warns that it's on airline power, which isn't enough to drive the machine. Instead, it draws power from both the power port *and* the battery, so the battery drains during flight. You will not land with a full battery ... beware. I have tried running only with battery stretch mode: the machine is very sluggish and the screen is dim. I haven't needed to push the machine to max performance yet ... but I expect only a few hours per battery in this mode. Considering this, I now have a 90W power supply (LVSUN LS-PAB90S-2U) that I'll be trying on my next trip. It's much smaller/lighter than the 170W brick and may do just as well. Though I'll probably find myself wishing for the brick once I get to my destination. The jury is definitely out on this. FWIW, the machine *will not* run just on seat power ... it really needs to draw on the battery, too.
