Works, virtual pointer is perfect for zoom
Does what it's supposed to. The virtual pointer is actually a great feature in the zoom era, where a real laser might not otherwise be visible to virtual participants.
Ergonomics are less than ideal, and buttons aren't very clickly, but a fair trade off for versatility and portability.

Small, sleek, stylish and packed with functionality. That said, this mouse is very sensitive to the surface that it is riding on. Without significant texture the mouse can fail to track motion consistently.

Like the design and the sensitive clicks, but the scroll is a bit hard for me; my finger isn’t at the right place as there isn’t a roller. Like that you can flattened it when traveling but too bad that it doesn’t come with a case.

I bought the presenter mouse to pair with my X1 Carbon 7th gen laptop. I like the presenter features allowing you to move slides and the pointer on the screen. I also like that there is no battery to replace, it comes with a USB cable to charge the mouse.

The mouse is great, very responsive and the presenter mode is a very neat idea. Unfortunately the plastic they used is very cheap feeling and it smudges immediately. I take good care of my computer mice but after one day of use it looked on par with another mouse I've had for 2 years. Other than it's a nice mouse.

Lenovo is setting a new standard with this quality built futuristic looking mouse. I bought this one for my wife because of how much I loved my Yoga mouse which is very similar. Both are a little smaller than I'd imagined, but still have a very nice feel and response to it. I will never use the laser for presentation purposes, but it is fun to turn around and play with the cats with, and it is nice to be able to use as a remote for playing music. I plan on buying one for all of my computer's.

Great hybrid mouse-presenter. The buttons are quiet, yet responsive. The touch scrolling works well, but would really like the buttons in the scroller to have the page up/down function. The presenter portion is great for virtual audiences as the pointer is on the screen.

Excellent mouse for those who move about.
The amount of functionality built into this mouse is incredible! Especially when you also consider that it packs down as flat as a cell phone, and works better than any other travel mouse that I've used.
The only disappointment is the scroll functionality. You slide your finger along the middle button, the scroll moves digitally (as if you pushed a button), not analog as if you were using a "touchpad". I recognize this cannot be easily overcome due to the way mice drivers work with computers, it just is not quite intuitive.
That said, you can certainly adapt to it, and the strengths of the rest of the mouse make up for this small issue!

love my mouse
I have 2 yoga mice that are getting a tad old and I decided to get another one. I saw the thinkpad mouse that is similar design and decided to give it a try as it had a 2 month life before it needed charging (you can also use the USB). The ThinkPad mouse is a tad thinner and I love it. This design as with the Yoga ones is really easy on your hand and I don't get the hand fatigue with these. Now if they only had them in red....

It takes a little bit of time to get used to this type of mouse considering being using the traditional rounded ones for long. After that, it feels very well, it works in almost any surface, I like the fact I can use it as an "air-mouse", moving the pointer and clicking around just by pointing to the screen and moving my hands.

Looks nice and matches well with my X1 Carbon 10.
The only but I have noticed so far is the scrolling is not as responsive as hoped.
The software should add the reading level of the battery.
Another positive thing is you don't have to replace batteries, like AA or AAA.
So far so good.

Works great and folds flat during transportation and flat for presentation mode. you can customize the scroll buttons and I have no complaints. I'm used to the Microsoft folding mouse and its not a presentation mouse so folding flat turns it off. I have a habit of leaving this mouse on.

Very happy with little air mouse
I have been using the mouse for a few weeks and am happy with the performance. It has been a long time since I have been excited about a mouse. Both Bluetooth and wireless modes work right out of the box, and while I do have a preference for wireless, any difference between the modes isn't worth mentioning as they both perform well. The build quality is good and seems durable, and the twisting hinge is solid despite the weight being extremely light. I charged it up using the provided USB-C cable before using it which took over an hour, but have not had to charge it since. It has been weeks without recharging as my daily driver and have left it on nearly the entire time in mouse mode except for testing, so I can't speak to exactly how long a charge lasts. I can say that it lasts long enough for me, and it is rechargeable, so I am quite happy with the battery life. When using it in mouse mode it is smooth and responsive and is a good size for most hands, although the light weight may feel like a toy in larger hands. When using it in presenter mode you twist the hinge so the mouse is flat and LED lights up buttons for slides and pointer controls. This means if you twist it flat for travel or storage these LEDs or internal radio may continue to drain the battery unless you slide the power switch to off. The presenter mode cursor control is impressive, and actually gives you control of the cursor using motions in the air. Something worth noting here is that large arm movements seem to be less effective than small wrist movements, and while this takes some practice, it is very intuitive. Presenter mode works well with my presentation software to control slides although it is important to download the presenter mouse app. One thing I did notice about presenter mode is that you can single left click but not double left click, which means no opening folders, however this is solved with a simple twist to mouse mode. I have no major complaints about this mouse, although some minor improvements might make it even better. It is a little light weight for mouse usage, but nicely light for presentation holding, and long presentations might drain the battery, so a larger battery may be a good future idea to address these potential weight and endurance issues for some people.

Awesome mouse and presenter! However, there are some bugs and common complaints as while it is in presenter mode, the tracker trails to the left even if your hand is still and it won’t stop moving in that direction. No way to fix it, either.

The mouse seems cheap. Made of thin plastic parts. Surprised as I buy Thinkpad devices for quality, build and ability to withstand being carried in briefcase. To small for a normal sized man's hand. Even petite wife found it too small for her hand. Seems to go into sleep mode, and therefore there is a noticable delay when you try to move mouse after 20-30 seconds of inactivity. Scroll week on top of mouse is erratic making it almost unusable. Really a shame. Would not recommend this mouse.

Cool mouse... but not perfect.
The mouse is cool and has some neat features. The Bluetooth pairs seamlessly; there's a dongle included as well. Takes about an hour and a half to fully charge and stays charged up to two (2) months. I appreciate that it folds flat for easy transportation and space-saving in my bag. It has a great ThinkPad aesthetic and look great next to my T470s.
That being said:
It's a little impractical. I recommend having a dedicated 'daily' use mouse. It's not comfortable (for me at least) to be used all day long. The presentation features are a little glitchy and are slightly cumbersome to use.
TL;DR:
Cool mouse. Not practical for daily use in my opinion. Features are 'meh'.

Perfect portable mouse and it aces presentations also. Tired of trying to use a laser pointer on that flat screen? Want a mouse that doesn't make a lump in your mobile bag? This is that mouse. Great design nice working mouse.
Nice design. It's charging time is about 1 and half hours and use it for long time. Good for travel but bit too small for the big hand to use whole day(May I work too long hours...). I am using it for whole day. Scrolling sometimes not works then I have to turn off the power switch and back on. Overall 5 stars because It folds and I can put it in bag flat.

The mouse and presenter work as expected and seems to track fairly well during presentations. However, I still need to test it within a larger conference setting to be sure. Many of my clients have large screen televisions and a normal laser pointer won't do. This is definitely at a better price point than the competitor's presentation device only model.

A great accessory
This mouse is sleek and very easy to use and I especially like that it does not require batteries. I haven't used it for presentations yet, but the laser pointer is a very nice feature. My one complaint is that the case covering the USB dongle doesn't come off easily but it's smooth sailing once you've cleared that hurdle.

Cool design, but just get a normal mouse
It's a really cool design and concept, but getting it setup to use the pointer and presentation features is a bit of a hassle--and I still haven't spent the time to Google and figure out how to do it. If there is driver software, it wasn't included in the box, nor did it pop up magically when I plugged it into my Lenovo X1 Carbon. The mouse also seems to feel less responsive than most mice. But honestly, I don't know if this is because of the lack of tactile feedback, super specific ways you have to place your finger to scroll accurately, or what. All I know know is all of these frustrations compound into making the X1 Presenter Mouse distracting enough for me to NOT recommend people buy it. Rating two stars here, because I still think it looks cool, and has a neat concept. Just get a normal mouse though. Be stress free when it comes to clicking, scrolling, and presenting. Presenting doesn't really require this much flex lol.

ThinkPad X1 Presenter Mouse
Excellent item, would like a tracking wheel to be added, then it would be perfect for me. Still cannot understand how the laser works???? maybe a bit more detail in the instruction manual would HELP. Still to this day cannot get the laser pointer to work.
