No USB port
While the machine works well and was relatively easy to set up, the buying experience was less than great. First, the picture in the cart was not the correct printer, so I had to call Dell to verify. Second, when the printer arrived I discovered that the USB ports were not installed. This was not part of the description. I debated sending it back, but figured that was too much trouble. Hopefully, my guests won't need the port as they have in the past.

Shop around. This isnt the cheapest one out there and its a very basic machine. Was delayed by dell shipping by almost 3 weeks. does the job but i found this same product much cheaper on other reliable websites. the scanner option is there but you have to do some firm ware updates and launch it under a different application you DL.

The printer wass returned days into the purchase , after many phone call's to teck support, we were never able to get it to work. Was returned for credit and I have moved on . Wont be interested in a Lexmark again , Am now trying to learn windows 10 on a new computer, that is not a easy thing for a old man also...

Good value for the price
Very nice economy, multi-function printer. Setup was easy and functionality appears straight forward. Did have to go to Microsoft's website to download scanner app to enable that function. Pleased so far and would recommend it.

I WOULD HAVE GIVEN THIS PRODUCT A ZERO IF I COULD. IT MALFUNCTIONS ALL THE TIME IT SHUTS DOWN ON ITS ON IN THE MIDDLE OF PROJECTS. WHEN IT GOES INTO SLEEP MODE IT DOESNT TURN BACK ON I HAVE TO UNPLUG IT SOMETIMES AND MIND YOU THIS IS THE SECOND ONE THE FIRST ONE DID THE SAME I USED MY WARRANTY TO PURCHASE ANOTHER AND IT STILL DOES THE SAME AS THE FIRST

As far as I can tell it does require a separate fax line from the phone line. But it is wireless, responds to print from phone and computer. Fast and good quality, black ink only.

Lexmark tech service was unable to establish a wireless connection. Returned printer unused, and hope dell no longer sells printer.

I would have preferred a manel with my product, instead of having to print pages on my printer which costs the consumer more money. I think that is fair when you buy a product.

Returned the Lexmark MB2236adw the next day after It was delivered. Lexmark Tech Support took 3 hours trying to set it up and failed. Dell Tech Support took an additional 2 hours and finally decided this printer was not compatible with my new Dell Laptop. I would not recommend this product.

Great Copier
Hello, I got the Lexmark printer to try and it was very fast and easy to set up.
I like the fact that its very lightweight. I think around 20 pounds or so and you mainly just take off the packing tape.
Only part in the set up process is the instructions could be a little more explaining. Its pretty much pictures, but I still had a few questions when I put it all together.
Another good thing about it is it does do printing, faxing, copying and scanning. It has a fast speed of 36 ppm. It can also hold 50 sheet auto feeder and 150 sheet bin.
It`s great for a small business/home business set up. I also like that the toner is designed for maximum use with the number of copies.
You can also set up and do portable printing from your smart phone.
The memory size is decent just like a laptop almost.
On the negative side:
It only prints in black and white.
It does not offer a hard drive to it.
I think that it cannot take ledger size paper also with the tray. Though you can do single size page feed.
Overall, it is a cool machine for printing and copying and faxes.
