uneasy purchase
I like the printer and its abilities, what I don't like is the cost of the ink, its like you have to go to another website to learn what the price of the toner cartridges are before you make a purchase with dell.

large order
like this printer- however, whenever printing large amounts of 2-sided paper, printer jams. Only does this if it is a large order.

Not happy
I've been in-touch with both Dell and Lemark IT personnel and no one can make it function wireless. MALFUNCTION piece of equipment.

As advertized
So far this printer has all the bells and whistles that I need and all have worked as advertised. It was easy to set up and meshed with my Dell computer with minimal difficulties. The directions were adequate but I personally like a little more detail as I as most people are not super techs and what is obvious to them isn't always obvious to an average user.

Scanning is less than desirable.
Works great except the scanning feature. The scanner works best with the Windows scanning app. To use the function "Scan to computer" on the printer appears to do nothing. There is no file of the scanned document on the computer and there is a copy of my scanned document in the output try. It wasted paper making a copy I didn't want. I've updated the firmware and installed the latest drivers from the Lexmark website.

Great Multifunction - worst possible setup
ok, so now that I have this bad boy up and running it works just great. Getting it up and running was literally a nightmare. I have never had a device (in the past 5-6 years that doesn't just plug in and with a few minutes of handshaking and driver setup isn't up and running. This machine is far far from that. ZFirst, the instruction they give you are horrible and very VERY incomplete. After trying everything for hours including scanning the web for help , this printer simply would not work. I called customer service and first found out that although it's not mentioned anywhere, you have to download a special program that will allow you to connect to the printer over your network in order to mess with the settings. This is not mentioned ANYWHERE! After doing that they simply told me that I had to set up my security settings but then failed to tell me how. It took a customer service guy 8 hours of being connect to my machine to find out that a user had to be set up and then security assigned etc etc none of this info is anywhere and it was clear that the service guy had to figure this all out as well.
If you are looking for a nice home office, small business machine AND have an IT guy willing to spend a lot of time on the phone to get this working, then this might be for you. otherwise steer clear
One last note, the service from Lexmark was not great . they got the job done but they stood me up on phone appointments to fix this. it was very fustrating

Worst experience ever
I bought a brand new computer the printer didnt work dell would not help me at all and lexmark did finally replace my faulty printer but it took 3 months and i will never order anything from dell again.worst customer service ever

Great Printer
I received this product in exchange for my unbiased opinion. The Lexmark printer is a good printer in terms of quality. Once set up, it is relatively easy to use to make copies, send faxes, and print using. The only issue I have is that the display is small and it takes pressing a lot of buttons to make copies and make sure the settings are all how you want them. Otherwise, the easy and quality of the printer makes it a hit!

Home office color laser MFP doesn't disappoint
This printer is bigger (taller too) than I thought it would be but it is definitely worth it. Support for printing from all devices, wired and wireless connectivity as well as additional protocol support like FTP makes this printer an attractive buy. The toner cartridges are easy to manage and the printer is very fast. Scanning, printing, copying as well as fax functionality has you covered no matter what you need to do. Installing on OS X, which can be a bit of pain, is dead easy. Highly recommend this beast if you have the real estate to support it.

Very resourceful printer!
This printer is very functional and serves a great purpose. My favorite feature is that it prints 25 pages per minute, which is very productive. There was some assembly and programming involved, but it was not too difficult. This printer met my expectations and then some! It was quick and fairly easy to use. The only issue I had was that this printer is pretty heavy. I would definitely recommend this to a friend or family member because it was very functional for me. My overall impressions of this printer is that it is a very quality product and it enhanced my productivity

Excellent performance from a quality all-in-one printer!
This multifunction device by Lexmark has pleasantly surprised me in so many ways. Key features include fast warm up, and quick printing output no matter what type or size media I've used on it. I also love the duplex scan feature, and I appreciate that this is not a noisy machine whatsoever. I've yet to experience any glitches or even a paper jam! Initial product assembly and network setup was fairly easy and straightforward; customer support is available if needed. My expectations were exceeded, as this is indeed a very high quality all-in-one printer / copier / scanner / fax machine. I definitely recommend this printer for small to medium-sized businesses and even for higher functioning home offices. This is truly a five-star printer that produces quality results every time. It truly gives a lot of bang for your buck, and it has been able to keep up the pace on even the busiest of my workdays to date!
