Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality monitor for design work As a content creator that does a lot of detailed design work, I purchased this monitor to use with my company laptop (macbook pro). I couldn't be happier with the screen resolution and color accuracy, which are essential to my work. If you need a bigger screen than a laptop but can't swing an iMac, I highly recommend this setup and as the world moves more toward hybrid and remote work this is a great option that allows more freedom than the standard desktop setup of old.

It reveals everything in a photo or video, good or bad. You may be surprised to see how clear your cellphone shots are, as well as how fuzzy some online video clips can be! It matched up with no fuss to my new PC using the included DisplayPort and USB cables, The picture settings were fine out of the box, no adjustment needed. The included speakers are just OK, and I suspect are mostly there for convenience. If you want really good sound, use a pair of separates. Overall, a fine product

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good quality monitor for WFH I’ve had this monitor for a month now and it’s really working well. As a graphic designer working from home accustomed to accurate color monitors, this one is very good. I was surprised, however, that the color adjustment function (for fine tuning) was grayed out for me, and maybe just haven’t yet figured out the selection that unlocks it, but in any case, the color seems pretty good with the broader menu selections I’ve made. The original USB-C cable it came with gave me power but no video, however, contacted customer support and they sent another one out right away that worked correctly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best monitor I've ever owned I've been using this monitor for 9 months now, and I couldn't be happier. It has great color and is extremely sharp. Setup was a breeze and I use it from 8 am til 10-11 pm regularly, and it has never let me down. My ownly criticism is the bottom mounted joystick control. I would much prefer a row of clearly labeled buttons on the lower front of the bezel.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful and compatible There was nothing wrong with my old monitor except that it wasn't compatible with my new MacBook Pro, so I made the leap to a larger one. The picture is beautiful on the LG, and it only took a minute to set up. I've watched video on it, and moving images are clear and sharp. This was a very good purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good monitor This 27" 4K monitor has many things going for it. Colors are great (better than my 5K iMac monitor) as are images, text, and videos. The stand is well thought out and solid, and the connections in the back of the monitor (along with the cables that are supplied with it) are very handy. I'm not in love with all the different picture modes (I don't want to constantly change these), and the biggest negative for me is the single power and control button at the bottom of the monitor. I don't like the fact that I can't control the picture modes with my computer (currently an iMac), and that if this one button (which will get used a lot) fails, the monitor is toast. Time will tell how robust this switch is and consequently how good this monitor is. It is for this reason that I rate this monitor only as good rather than excellent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great 4K monitor with one exception It took me 2 weeks to search for a perfect monitor and finally I made a decision to by the LG 27UL850-W. Works great with my MacBook Pro also has 2 hdmi that I have hook up with my Nintendo switch and ps4. It comes with a usb c cable which I hooked up with my MacBook Pro, hdmi plus a DP cable. Although it only supports 4K at 60 hertz I prefer the quality of an image rather then the frame per second. The only down side I had with this monitor was the LG app program that allows you to control the monitor better. For some reason it doesn’t work with my MacBook Pro I have to use the display setting on my laptop The rest is beautiful !

Other than using externals for work, I've never personally owned an external monitor before and the experience has been a great one. The colors are great, the OSD is intuitive, and everything just works. I would definitely recommend this display. M1 2020 Mac mini

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Overpriced but decent monitor The biggest disappointment is the very high price for an average monitor. The Monitor has good resolution and is a great size for a home office. The stand's adjustability is lacking in that you are unable to rotate right and left, which can add difficulty accessing the connections in the back if your dest is facing a wall.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AMAZING MONITOR! Firstly, it took me awhile to come to a conclusion to get a proper monitor for myself. I am a Im a mac user and a designer. Having 4k Display with SRGB color grading was a huge thing for me. Apart from that, it support USB connectivity & charges my mac while being connected. Amazing !!!!! Only wish the Refresh Rates were higher. but im very satisfied. LG hands down makes the best display.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent color accuracy I bought this several months ago and have used it for office work as well as photography. Excellent color accuracy out of the box. Tweaked the color calibration with LG software and Spyder X for slight improvements as well. Display works well in both bright and normal conditions. I highly recommend this as well as its 32 inch cousin, 32UN880-B, which I also have and really like.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this screen! I have used the LG Ultrafine 5k display for work for sometime, so this monitor had some big shoes to fill. After owning this monitor for a few months, I can say I do not regret it one bit. It just works how I need it to work. I use it for everything. I have my M1 Mac mini, my Switch, and my Apple TV 4K all hooked up and switch between them as I need. The quality of the image is amazing, details are sharp, the picture profiles are great, and the build quality is top tier. I may buy another to make it a dual screen set up.

I'm a professional designer and was hopeful to use this monitor to connect with my 16" Macbook Pro. I purchased this model specifically for the USB-C single cord connectivity, and the picture quality/colors and settings available are abysmal when connected via USB-C only. I can't adjust display settings like contrast, HDR, or picture mode. When I first received the monitor, it was flickering nonstop when I plugged it into my computer and now will randomly restart throughout the day, interrupting my workflow. It works perfectly on all other monitors and TVs, but for some reason the same adapter does not work with this monitor. It goes not even show up as being present. This monitor cost much more than my Dell, and it cannot be accessed wirelessly. Very disappointed in this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice monitor, don't know about Linux Chose this to go with MacBook they gave me at work and the USB-C port. I was very interested in the split screen feature. However, I my personal computer is Linux, and the software downloads are only Mac and Windows. And the electric plugs are very wide, they block adjoining sockets on my power bar. Other than that, the picture is very nice, and the 4k is very clear even for small text.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Picture, neat stand, very smart look I bought this as an upgrade (the previous monitor was OK but only 24"), I do web development and photo work (Win10) The picture is very good but needs some setting up 'out of the box' Sound is quite acceptable for a monitor with this thin profile but you'll need soundbar if you intend to run this as a bedroom TV at times.

It is very frustrating and should not be happening with the cost of the monitor. I have upgraded cables and that did not solve the problem. I will trying to return the product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Professional Monitor I am a designer and this monitor is perfect for my needs. great colour accuracy and definition. pushing pixels all day long can be a strain to your eyes and this monitor does not give me any trouble. Keep in mind though that this is NOT a gaming monitor. it only has a 60hz refresh rate.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Monitor, especially for Mac users This monitor has a very sharp screen for excellent viewing. It also has USB-C for easy Mac integration. The single joystick control on the bottom of the monitor took a second to get used to but it's super simple. I'm waiting for the updated drivers that Big Sur 11.2 needs to have control of the brightness and volume from my apple keyboard. That update will be extremely helpful. Otherwise it was a smart purchase!

I’m very happy with the resolution and color, perfect for software development (lots is real estate) and for photo editing (high marks on color accuracy). And I love needing only one USB-C connection to my Mac for both power and display. I’ve used both USB ports on the backside, a great convenience when migrating photo and video backups, although it is a problem that if the screen sleeps the power to those ports goes off (maybe this could be fixed in a firmware update?). Overall, very happy with this purchase.

After having it a few weeks I'm glad I didn't go any larger, this is perfect for my home office. Incredible picture and the joystick is nice once you get used to it. It would be nice if it came with some directions so I didn't have to go on Google to find out about the joystick!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Monitor!!! The display is beautiful and perfect. Packaging is superb. (Read the unboxing instructions. Don't squeeze or touch the front of the display when removing it from the box. Attach the stand and base first then attach it to the display back. The stand is magic, it lifts and descends with a touch. When transporting the display, hold the fixed round portion of the stand at the top and at the bottom bezel of the display with a flat hand.) If you have a Surface Pro, separately order a white Display Port / Mini Display Port 3 foot cable. The vertical rise of the stand allows me to place my SP4 directly under the bottom bezel. The color, clarity and speed are fantastic. You'll never want to use HD Displays again, period.

Constant requirements to use the monitor screen for document development, meetings, social interaction is so much easier now with this monitor. Being able to tilt helps my neck and the vibrant colors make the experience almost fun. It is well worth it!
