In addition to being an on/off switch it's also an input device like the input stick on a laptop. This combination makes it difficult to get it to turn on or off. I still don't have it nailed down to where I can turn it on or off the first time, every time.

The split screen is great for doing the many multiple page brochures and event websites that I do - no longer have to go back and forth. I am very pleased. I have had no problems to date. I also like the sleek design of it.

This monitor, while significantly bigger, has a smaller overall footprint than my prior setup and, due to the size, allows me to bypass my laptip’s screen and simply use this monitor since it will accommodate many split screen formats. I purchased the model with multiple input formats and I am so glad I did. The only thing that would make this monitor perfect...built in speakers.

I can comfortably use four applications at once but the monitor really shines with two applications side by side. It has become a really useful tool to me.

Powered it up and the picture blew me away. Multi-tasking is sweet with this monitor. Plenty of room for 3 or 4 windows. The screen is thin but vibrant. The LG brand is quality and I use my monitor a lot - best value and quality.

This is by far one of my favorite screens to edit on. The colors are great, the brightness is perfect, the size is just right (It's a little bigger than typical but not too big). I would definitely buy it again, I plan on having a dual-monitor setup sometime in the near future, this will definitely be the monitor I use for both of those.

My main use is gaming, but I also use it to edit video, and run 3d design programs. This is a perfect screen with thin borders, and high quality picture. I have ultimately decided that I will need another one to make working on school projects and video editing a lot easier.

Love the "Split screen" featureI love this new monitor!Split Screen capability was the primary driver for me in my next monitor purchase as I don't have the ability to split to two separate monitors on my laptop.After much research this LG monitor was one that kept coming up and I'm very happy with my selection.I also have no need for 4k display so I saved money in that regard. The 1080p picture quality is excellent on this model.I rated 5 stars based on image quality and capabilities.Only things that I might describe to be aware of is that the TV came with a disc for the drivers and many people don't have dvd drives in their laptops so be ready to download the drivers from the LG website if you fall into this category.Also, the monitor software doesn't start well from boot up so I recommend turning the "start on power up" setting off. After initial set up you probably won't need that software much anyway so it's not a big deal.
