Rated 5 out of 5 by from I should have purchased this monitor years ago For more than five years I have been using my daughter's 42" Insignia TV for a monitor. I have been looking at purchasing a new monitor for several years. When I saw the ultrawide monitor I immediately wanted it. What kept me? The funds. At the time I just didn't have the funds to purchase one. I moved from Southern California to Oklahoma and the funds became available. I purchased the LG 34 CLASS 21:9 ULTRAWIDE FULL HD IPS GAMING MONITOR and I am loving it. LG has software to download that will allow your screen to be divided into so many different variations. I don't use it for gaming. I use it for website design and graphic creation. What a difference. I should have purchased this monitor years ago.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Monitor for Games and Music Production I’m not a serious producer or gamer by any means but from what I can tell, this monitor is a great price for the length and color quality. I really enjoy the usb-c port to connect to my MacBook Pro and the On Screen Control software lets you multi task like 8 different windows at once. The only reason I give this a four star rating is that the blacks could be blacker and the bezels thinner. Overall you get what you pay for and if you handle it with care it's a quality product.

I had been editing on FCPX and wanted to save desk space but have the benefits of the screen space of 2 monitors. As my business was expanding, I needed to monitor my social media channels, Outlook, and chats while working so I purchased a second. When my business took the next step and I leased an office out of my house, I purchased this one to keep at home and took my previous pair to my office. I could not be more satisfied. This monitor is fantastic. I should mention the advantage it gives to my MacBook Pro with a Thunderbolt connection to the monitor is fantastic! Great colors, great connections, and I would buy a 4th for my factory office in the near future.

I use mine primarily as a secondary screen for my laptop. It is way more screen than I need, but it is a nice luxury, and for the $, why not. Even if you are not a gamer, and need the second screen for productivity, or even to play the occasional video, etc you cannot go wrong with this thing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's a big monitor. I just purchased this monitor and at first I was disappointed. There weren't clear direction or drivers in the materials enclosed with the monitor. Once I found the manual and the drivers at the website, everything smoothed out. The monitor has a very sharp picture and is a little smaller than the dual monitors I used to have. The additional contrast makes up for that but after looking at my daughter's dual curved monitor setup, I think I will eventually get another 34" monitor. This monitor is powered with an ASUS AMD Radeon RX 5700 Overclocked 8G GDDR6 Dual Fan EVO Edition HDMI DisplayPort Gaming Graphics Card. The display is easy to read, but I will get a curved monitor in the future even though I have had no trouble reading the edges of the monitor. I have had very good experience with LG electronics in the past and added this monitor and an M-Disk Blueray-DVD writer to my current build for that reason. The monitor has a stable stand and has more adjustment than I needed (Vertical and tilt). It has a handy joy stick control in the bottom center of the monitor for quick video adjustments. If you don't have the money to get a curved monitor, I recommend this product.

Many others have experienced problems with this monitor after this short amount of time. Disappointing quality and only a 1 year warranty. LG wants more than the monitor costs to repair it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Vertical Lines I bought this product six months ago or so. The first monitor stopped working withing four day, then I sent it back for a replacement. Now, the monitor has small vertical lines (Only two, a small purple line and a green one) running down the screen. It is a great monitor, don't get me wrong. But it should be having problems like this only a few months after using it. And it is not the cables or power cord, but the monitor itself.

It barely fits on my desk, but it's replaced 2 monitors for me with extremely high-quality graphics. The speakers are even decent, although I generally use my headset if I'm near enough to hear them. The screen real estate is great for programming and for gaming. The only thing that I'd wish for is to remove the black border, which feels like it should be more screen since the frame is actually very tiny.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Monitor, Excellent Price Very beautiful monitor, stylish, high quality, sleek. Colors are vibrant. The price for a monitor of this size and quality is unbeatable. I'm giving it 4 stars because text and images could be more a little more crisp and clear. I'm a professional graphic designer and really should have a 4K HDR, but that's WAY out of my budget. I'm calling this an "in between" monitor until I can afford a 4K HDR or perhaps the prices will go down on the higher quality monitors. This IS a great monitor for just about all uses though. I'd recommend it for almost anyone. The size is, well, WOW! I upgraded from an HP 27" VGA monitor that was 10 years old. It's crazy though that my 10 year old HP monitor has just as good of quality as this one (actually, a little better quality), but it was time for a bigger screen. I'm using the 27" with my laptop now. I DO highly recommend this monitor, especially if you're on a budget like me. EXCEPTIONAL value!

I was debating between a 29" and 34" ultra wide monitor and glad I took my wife's advice to go with 34". Its much more helpful while using it for office work and greatly enhances productivity. I'm not a gamin person so no inputs there but definitely you can use this monitor for office work, surfing the net and playing youtube.

I used this monitor to connect with my work laptop via USB-C connector with this cable (Nekteck USB-IF Certified USB C 3.1 GEN 2 Cable(10Gbps/100W) USB C to USB C Cable) bought from Amazon. The picture is bright and very clear. Worth the purchase. I would recommend for those looking to replace dual monitor to save space.

Connected with DisplayPort (had to buy a cable which was cheap.) sorry I didn’t buy sooner. Excellent for mammoth spreadsheets and people like me who open a dozen browser tabs (or more) everyday. All games are running at extreme setting smoothly. Although it only has one hdmi and one display port input I am completely happy with its performance.

I was also surprised that there was zero dead pixels. Factory calibration was very good as well. The speakers are pleasantly decent. I wouldn't use them all the time but they are decent for when you don't want to wear headphones.

You have a wide viewing and the stand is adjustable in terms of both height and angle. It was a little bit tricky to enable 1ms motion blurring. And there is always a slight light-leaking on the corner of the monitor-some said that it is inevitable, but I think it can be resolved with more delicate panel assembly.

Love multitasking two pages side by side. The only con I've found is the page length is about an inch shorter that my last 25 inch monitor. I have to scroll to see the bottom of each page. I'm using the native resolution. But overall it's great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great until it stopped working After 18 month the image stopped displaying. The motherboard has gone bad, parts are not available, and the warranty was only one year. Now what? The repair shop says both LG distributors show no parts for this model are available. The repair shop says normally there is a small secondary board that is all that needs to be replaced, but for whatever reason LG integrated it into the main board in this model. Normally the same bad board would be used across many models. Not in this one. Not under warranty AND it can't be fixed! Thanks LG. What a waste of money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from works good but... reservations I've had this monitor a while, purchased to double as a small TV from the computer, and of course a gaming monitor. My computer has two Nvidia cards, old but powerful for most games and the monitor is great.. except for the red flickers, unless it's set/game is set to windowed mode. No full screen as the image flickers bright red until the game is set to windowed mode, nor borderless window either. My older games don't like the wide screen much as their max res is far too low. All play though, but cannot get the widescreen advantage I was after. This model is a kind of sneaky marketing victim, or I am, as this one only goes to 75 max on refresh, but my Nvidia cards seems to get along with the AMD based monitor brains. Anyway, the red flicker of demise worries me, to make it seem the monitor isn't complete or defective as no 'fixit' abounds online, hence this 'iffy' review with only three stars for a probably worth it wide screen monitor. I hope it doesn't quit tomorrow and I doubt that LG could find any fault other than the red flashy, if they could reproduce it.

It was definitely a great purchase especially for the price. Has great features like PIP, split screen, 4k display, and great presets if you don't want to mess around with the settings.

Great buy considering price/performance. If you are OK with NOT having 4K/curved, then this is the way to go!

The ultra-wide is basically the same as cinema viewing and I have honestly never felt like any images were scrunched as some people have said.

In the last few months the Ice Machine freezes up, water comes out before Ice. shelves are not easy to move around. Having serious thoughts about purchasing this product again. Unable to find out issue with ice machine.

I decided to keep the monitor since it would have been a hassle to return it for a new one and run the risk of getting one with dead pixels or something. QC is a bit lacking here but overall I am enjoying the monitor a lot.

This monitor is clear and bright and has speakers built in. Now I will say the speakers are nothing to write home about but they work just fine for my office. Price per feature, I don't think you will get a better monitor.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Work Monitor I've had this LG monitor for a couple of weeks and I appreciate it more everyday. It replaced two, side-by-side, 21.5" montors. Without the double center bezels of the 21.5" monitors and with an approx. 3" additional height I have much more monitor landscape. It's taken me a while to get used to but now I can size and move application windows around to my best advanatage and usually have 5 or 6 open at a time. I don't do games, but this monitor is definitely a smooth boost to productivity.

The picture for this price range is fabulous and the adjustable height stand with tilt is a nice feature. HDMI, Display Port and USB-C connections. USB-C. make sure you get a 20GB or higher transfer rate or no video signal for you.

I can keep 4 windows open side by side making it so much easier and efficient to work. The clarity is a bit of overkill for excel and web pages but so nice to have everything extremely crisp and readable!

I am a writer and I love that I can read and edit 4 pages at the same time. The monitor has a matte finish and it makes it easy on the eyes no matter the time of day.

After doing my homework, this monitor had everything I needed and wanted and at a reasonable price point. It certainly did not disappoint - everything is crystal clear, and I have plenty of screen real estate to have multiple documents open, and even space to stream a movie or live TV. Great monitor at a great price!

I like that the screen is not curved, it is actually really nice. The stand is a high quality stand, the adjustment is easy and has a tall range of motion.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent! I bought this monitor at the end of December 2018. After doing some research, I felt this monitor was the best one within my price point. This monitor replaced a 24in LG monitor that was 8 years old and still works so I knew LG was reliable. This monitor is amazing! It has IPS technology which produces a higher display quality and better colors. These were the first things I noticed when I turned on this monitor for the first time. This is the best gaming monitor I have ever purchased. I play a lot of FPS type games and motion blur reduction holds true. Easy menu navigation, great software, height adjustable stand and looks great. I had such a great gaming experience with this monitor that a bought another one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looks great Was looking for an Ultra-Wide screen that would work with my 2010 Mac Pro. After much research, I bought this and it works perfect for my work flow. You can't use the the HDMI adaptor with this setup but I use the display port on the Mac Pro and the screen and it works great.

Its packed with way more features for its price than others looks agressive but not godly only thing I would change is it's not clear that one minue wont turn the motion blur reduction on you have to go to another menus

The surprise came once he started using it to play his favorite game Roblox and Minecraft. The images was popping off the screen amazing freesync feature.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Monitor I bought this monitor for my work purposes, and very happy with it. Before buying it I was thinking of dual monitor setup, but this monitor does a better job. Screen has great refresh rate, and with the price you can't beat it was a great buy. I would recommend to anyone that is thinking of buying super wide screen.
