Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent ultra wide monitor I used to have a dual 24" monitor setup, but the bezels in the center of the monitors prevented me from looking directly at my content. With the 34" LG Ultrawide, this is no longer a problem. I have enough screen real estate for a Safari tab open to browse the net, and sidebars for mail, messages, activity monitor, and photos all at the same time... without the distracting bezels of a dual monitor setup directly in front of my vision. For video editing, the 34" screen is amazing. Even though it's "only" 1080p, images, video, and even text are sharp. Highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great daily monitor I love the wide screen. Only thing i miss is it is not 4k as i play xbox on it. And games are not compatible with 21:9. So they kinda stretch out. But overall my macbook works and looks great with this.

However, when I plugged my Xbox One into the monitor it did not recognize it as an ultra high-definition monitor. That upsets me and is the only reason why I gave it three stars instead of four.

The color accuracy is fantastic, and the wide screen makes it so easy to multi task. With all the things this monitor can do, it is a great buy for anyone debating whether or not to buy this monitor

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Quality Picture and Overall Monitor I purchased this monitor @ Best Buy last week to use with my gaming PC. PROS: + The colors are sharp on games and documents + Very little reflection or glare off the screen + The built in features are nice, like split window, game mode, document mode...etc + Massive Screen... enough said! CONS: - The screen is so big they should have made a curved version. No matter where you sit in front of it @ a normal desk the corners of the screen make it seem like you need to rotate it to see things. - The Stand is absolute Junk. I bought an inexpensive computer desk at Target and every time the desk moves, the monitor giggles around. Its super annoying. Its even moving while I am typing this. Overall: Great Monitor. I would recommend either mounting it to the wall (if possible) or buying a desk made from a 2,000 year old Oak tree to prevent the screen from shaking.

So far my favorite feature is the downloadable On Screen Control Split Screen. It makes utilizing the full display very intuitive and easy. And not needing 2 monitors and less cables is always idea.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wide display is really nice. I wanted a monitor that allows me to have several things open at a time where I could arrange them for viewing. This monitor does that just like I have at work with 2 monitors side by side. I only gave a 4 star rating because the trim around the display is cheap and looks like they melted plastic into the gap to fill it in. I can see inside that gap where they missed filling some sections. What happened to nice framing around displays these days?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 34WK500-P - Awesome for Music Production My LG 34WK500-P took the place of my Dual 22" monitor setup with ease. I lost a little horizontal screen real estate, but I also lost the dividing bezzle being deat center of my view. I am a daily user of Pro Tools and AKAI MPC software for music production, and both products make full use of this monitor. I was even ablt to take my 2nd Video output and run another monitor off to the side for Plug-In display. Also, the colors look great when editing in Premiers/AfterEffects/Photoshop/C4D. I have nothing but praises for this monitor. I'm felling as though my next monitor will be a 49" ultrawide. I'm getting spoiled.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Objects are larger than they appear This monitor has been a welcome addition to my desk. It is large, broad, and crisp for anything that I have done thus far. The multi-screen software is interesting but provides a HUGE array of options; though I rarely want everything to automatically snap to the full split (the only downside other than the interface looking out-dated). The only drawback is the one multi-function button for power, etc. It takes some effort to work it and to get to the correct options quickly (there are a lot) and it's placement at the bottom, while centered, takes some effort to manage. I don't have a CD player so updating the drivers to really optimize the monitor took a tad bit of effort, but, it connected and worked seamlessly with the Windows standard driver (just seems better with the LG driver). In short... wide, easily connected, clear picture... and at a good price.

Stunning 34 inches flat display, I am so happy I made the move to 21:9 ratio mostly for my video editing sessions, but just also in general for all the screen real estate this monitor provides me with. My work sessions have never been that productive! Wonderful products and highly recommended!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Changed my Work Life In just 1 week I have noticed a huge difference in my productivity and the tiredness of my eyes. I had previously bought a 23" LG monitor and I set the 34" next to the 23". I am driving with a Mac Book Pro and I have its monitor open as well. Now I can keep different apps open on each monitor. One on the Mac, one or two on the 23" LG and 2 or 3 on the LG 34". Now I now longer have to hunt for an app when I want to search for information. The apps are all in their standard place.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stand is has a huge problem I bought this monitor 2 months ago Lord everything about it but out of nowhere the monitor just fell off the stand and cracked ops screen I was sick about but I also purchased same monitor again because it worked so well but this time I used doctors on the one screw holding it in place i would highly recommend this or your going to buy a replacement as I did both are registered so there's truth to my review

I use it as a general PC monitor and the extra real estate for displaying multiple windows at the same time is amazing! And when I have a bunch of work to do, it is easier on the eyes too! My son hooked it up to his Xbox and said it worked great there too, and now I have to keep him from borrowing it when I need it! Overall, a great monitor and purchase.

Great improvement in heat dissipation compared to my previouos monitor. Something to consider... There are many different configurations of a LG 34 inch monitor. Spend extra time ensuring your planned purchase has the inputs and features you need.
