Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid 4k monitor I appreciate the out of the box accuracy of this monitor. It is easy to set inputs. My only minor critiques is that I wish you could name the inputs and the on screen menu and remote feel a bit dated.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exceeded Expectations! I received this a couple of weeks ago now and have been beyond happy and impressed! It has everything, I can even charge my phone, earbuds, etc. directly from the monitor which makes things extra convenient. I have already convinced several people in my office to purchase one as well. Highly Recommend!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great daily work monitor I've used this as my only monitor for software development for a year now. I ditched the provided software in favor of another window snapping tool for MacOS, but it has otherwise met all my needs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good large monitor for the money. I was looking for a large monitor for computer work. I selected one large 4K monitor as opposed to two 2.5K monitors because there are so many Windows bugs when using two monitors (not an issue with MacOS, incidentally). This size monitor is a little hard to see on the edges when doing computer work. A curved monitor would be better if you can afford on (or in my case if your employer will approve the purchase). It took a few cycles of the power switch to get windows to recognize the monitor the first time. I hadn’t unpacked the remote at that point in time…. Probably would have been OK if I used the remote to select input source. The remote is not useful in my situation—just desk clutter.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Color/size/resolution Great for work at home I bought the same monitor to use mostly for my work at home office work. I love it, it rocks. I bought mine from Bestbuy as an excellent quality like new return. Saved $150 doing that off an already great price. Love the multi ports. Color accuracy is good enough for production work. Has fine tune warm or cool settings if needed. Can also be calibrated if you want more precise color control for photography using a Datacolor Spyder Spyder Spectrophotometer. The monitor can be as precise as you want it to be color wise. I like that it has a remote, how cool is that? The remote makes changing ports and monitor color control a breeze. I added a Roku USB stick so I can stream with it to for 35 dollars. I use the remote daily to change ports. I hooked up a remote for streaming when not working. I have a Mac and PC laptop connected to it I use for work. The remote makes changing from one to another easy. I like the color temperature controll that allows the color look and feel to be changed globally for a look and feel that is a quock way to adjust that overall feel without calibrating the monitor. LG put a lot of thought into making this monitor practical and easy to use. This monitor is heavy. I recommend hooking up the connection cables while it is flat on a surface. The port connections are in a difficult to access location when the monitor is upright. I also color coded the cables and connections. This is a keeper. Highly recommended. Best in comparative class for the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from wonderful size and features I replaced two 27” screens and haven’t regretted it yet. Office teleworking for 2 years and not sure why i haven’t done this yet. Up to 4 screens if needed and 5 inputs. If i could wish for more it would be thinner screen and 120 hz. The remote is a must, Roku never looked better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Working from home & loving the split screens! I was looking for two monitors and a docking station to work from home, many items were sold out and I decided to look for one large monitor with split screen capability. This monitor is affordable, had the usb-c I needed and many options for split screens. I definitely recommend and buy again. It is very large so make sure you have space or get a bigger desk!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An awesome remote worker’s monitor I was on the market trying to find a new monitor that was a good size as I work with many applications simultaneously. First thought I had was to get another flat screen TV and dual-purpose it’s use, but I then stumbled across the LG 43UN700-B computer monitor. This monitor is an absolute joy to work with, as resolution is high, inputs available are awesome, including USB-C input. Moving or navigating is easy as it gets. Just an all around great product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not good I bought this 6 months ago. Started to glitch after 3 month and now it's broke. I called the Amazon people and lg but I ended up having to send it back. And pay for the box I Had to send it in. All the while saying I would get reimbursed for. Uep haven't seen that yet. I hope I get my lg monitor back sometime this year but I'm not counting on it. I want a refund but we all know that won't happen

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great monitor Purchased on sale and performs nicely with my Windows PC or MacBook Pro. Love the screen space as I did not want two monitors sitting on my desk. I like the PIP feature as I have Roku set up on one of the HDMI ports.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent monitor Have used this monitor (and its model predecessor) for years. It is easily the best monitor for digital painting, as it has good color calibration as well as spacious layout. For office work, the monitor is an ideal size for seeing documents side by side or showing large spreadsheets.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LG Monitor for gaming and multiple computers I was attracted to this monitor largely because of the ability to have multiple computers connected with its Screen Splitting and PIP features. It has exceeded expectations in this regard, and the remote control was a brilliant idea. Secondarily, I wanted a 40" monitor for gaming without breaking the bank, and the FPS gaming mode which provides "Dynamic Action Sync" and "Black Stabilizer" have really helped in online gaming. I could have spent a LOT more money on a monitor with a higher refresh rate, but for the price this monitor does what is needed. I only wish LG would allow the use of external speakers without automatically disabling the internal speakers, or add a software feature in the menu to turn on/off the external speaker port on the back of the monitor. Currently, I have my surround sound stereo with subwoofer hooked up to that back port, but unfortuanely I cannot just turn off my stereo and listen to the LG internal speakers while anything is plugged into the port - a real oversight for a large monitor many people will wall mount! My previous monitor allowed internal and external speakers to be used simultaneously.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Never going back... So far so good, as the saying goes. Love the MASSIVE screen real estate that this gives my MacBook Air M1. One BIG monitor definitely beats 2 smaller ones. Great added features are that the MBA M1 charges when the included USB C cable is used to connect to the monitor AND the 2 USB A sized ports on the monitor add as expansion to my MBA M1. I have my Western Digital Passport external backup drive plugged into one of those and that’s extended it’s usable life. Colour me very happy so far.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great productivity monitor that decent and gaming I'd say this is excellent with a caveat... If you're looking at this monitor, you're probably looking for maximum productivity and possibly a side of gaming. The size is right, the resolution is right, and handling 60hz is not bad, either. It has 4 HDMI inputs (two can handle 60hz - #3 and 4) that you can use for picture by picture (PBP) or picture in picture (PIP). All of this can be controlled via a nice remote that's included. That was a nice touch considering you might be sitting back a bit further from this than a "normal-sized" monitor. There is a nice joystick "hidden" below the bottom center that can be used to control the OSD, but the remote is much easier to manage. Color is decent to excellent - it's IPS, but has low contrast so blacks are more greys, but overall it's good. Probably not someone's first choice for color-critical work anyway, but it's more than good for everyone else! Mine came with no dead pixels, no issues. Rtings mentioned they received excellent color reproduction after calibration. Games look great and though I love my Dell 27" 1440p 120hz monitor, apparently I'm not a pro gamer! The size of this makes games way more immersive. I'll probably move my PS4 pro to one of the inputs since I'm at my desk more than I am in the TV room! CAVEAT: So the one caveat is this is a BGR layout screen - what this means is that the subpixels (the smaller "cells" that make up a pixel that are usually Red Green Blue) are reversed here. For most things it's a non-issue, but in Windows, it can make text look blurry or have color artifacts. Windows will try to use "ClearType" (font smoothing) to make things better, but since that's based on an RGB layout, it makes things worse. I'd recommend not using "ClearType" at all or using "Better Clear Type", an open-source project on Github, that allows you to test different levels of contrast and subpixel layouts to improve the look of it. If you're interested in learning more, read DisplayNinja's BGR vs RGB article. Note, it seems that Mac OS doesn't have an issue with this based on how they try to smooth fonts, so unfortunately it seems like a Windows issue only. OVERALL Overall this is a great monitor! It's a keeper since it's going to make me more productive - multiple email accounts and spreadsheets all in one view are no problem.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quad 1080p monitors without the bezel. I bought this to have 4 monitors without having an ugly black bezel in between each one. I use the bottom 2 monitors for work, and the top 2 monitors for Netflix or Amazon fire stick. I usually stream the same video on both top monitors at the same time. This LG allows you to use the same source on 1 up to 4 quadrants. The remote has an audio input selection so you can control which input audio plays. When I am not working I will switch to 1 source and watch shows in 4K and the monitor become a large TV. I have used it for over 7 months daily and no issues. I wish it had a Webcam built in, but that is my only complaint.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 5k, 6k or 8K version next please. I have the previous version of this monitor and is a good inexpensive option, especially if you have problems with smaller monitors that have small text on web pages. It would be good to see a version of this monitor with higher resolution because the size will easily accommodate it and still provide a good experience with greater screen real estate for productivity.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dead on arrival and an honest review I haven't been able to enjoy my monitor because LG denied my repair claim and made me foot the bill for a spider webbed panel. The panel itself is not cracked it just shows webbing and a white screen. I've had 3 4k LG monitors and they are all 3 junk after 2 years. I don't recommend LG 4k monitors, while the picture is amazing they do not last for the amount of money you pay. They develop red and green vertical lines, flash lighting, and back light bleed very early. This is my honest review. I steer everyone i can away from LG monitors, not only because of product quality but the repair process is awful. If you call, no one knows how to help. If you try the request repair service the forms are broke and you can't continue. This is why I leave a 1 star review. Maybe they can course correct and resolve these issues but I won't buy another product anytime soon.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Large and in charge! I bought this over two separate monitors so I wouldn't have to have 3 computers connected to 2 monitors. Can you say cable mess! I am able to be highly productive at work and not have to strain my eyes using Excel or anything. Honestly, I didn't even realize there were speakers built in when I bought it and that saved me from buying speakers. They sound good. I like how you can have four quadrants. I can have my 3 computers and one phone all on the same screen. Honestly, I won't be doing that but someone might. My old 2011 MacBook looks great on the display surprisingly. I do recommend this monitor, it is massive and it may take a day or two to adjust but after that you will never want to downsize! I don't game at all but I imagine it would be good for that. I just use it for work, internet and Pioneer rekordbox dj software.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dream Come True This monitor has solved many problems for me after having started working remotely. As a programmer, I desperately needed more screen real estate. This monitor offers me more than enough needed to efficiently get my work done. And I won't lie: it's been great for gaming, too. For dev'ers out there I recommend setting res to 3840 x 2160, scaled to 125 - 150%. The speakers are a very nice touch as well! I love that this comes with a remote control so I don't have fiddle with tiny hard-to-use toggles. I have run into issues with downstreaming the USB ports, but I suspect this just might be an issue with my laptop.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The BEST Monitor Out There Ultra-wide monitors do not have enough screen height. This does. Far easier on the eyes. It allows input from up to 4 devices. I switch back and forth between my Windows laptop and my MacBook. Nothing out there comes close. Great speakers too. I only wish they made something like this form factor, but even bigger.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great monitor!!! This is an all-in-one desktop monitor! It's like having 4 21" desktop monitor in one. I was looking for a multi-monitor setup like a dual 27" inch setup with desktop arm support. However, from previous experience, lining up the monitors next to each other was an issue. And the bezel between the two monitor was also a problem. So, overall, the 43UN700-B size is perfect. It does require getting use to since it's a 43" screen. Also, getting the right configuration took me about a week. I have a MBP. I use the monitor for programming, networking, VMs, and other stuff! Happy with it so far.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Terrible so far Bought the 43UN700-B and it died (no power) in less than a week. Attempting service with LG has been a nightmare so far. I have been completely understanding that COVID-19 is making it hard to get anything done, however I have received multiple emails and text via LG Facebook Chat saying that a box has been sent in order to facilitate a repair yet so far nothing. When I ask via chat or email for tracking, it takes day or days for a response and then I get a tracking number (no carrier specified) that doesn't work in any carrier portal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Game changing monitor for remote work I got this for my home office to support remote work. Most of my activity is in business applications and web browsers. This monitor allows me to open 4 windows on the desktop simultaneously. It is so much easier to navigate between windows with a single large monitor than multiple monitors. I use Aquasnap to make window management easier. Highly recommend that utility as well. But this monitor is fantastic. Bright, clear, sharp images. The audio from the onboard speakers is so clear that videoconference participants sound like they are in my office.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's big and I love it. Lots of room I was looking for a new external 4K monitor for my MacBook Pro and I saw this one on sale so I bought it. It got delivered a few days later and it's big. The new MacBook M1 only allows a single external monitor, so I wanted one that could fit all my screens. This 43" monitor does that. Using Hot Keys, I'm able to move my windows into smaller windows and they fit perfectly. You can also hook up a different source, such as a DVD and use Picture in Picture to show both on the same monitor. I haven't tried playing games on this monitor. Make sure you check the refresh rate to make sure this sized monitor is fast enough. I'm very happy with this monitor so far.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Everything you would want in a monitor The monitor is huge, it took a week to get used to the size. I am able to do my work using the monitor and splitting out programs so I can look at them side by side. There are plenty of inputs and this monitor has picture in picture. I am able have my home PC on half the screen and my work laptop on the other half. The built in speakers are tv quality. This is basically a TV without a tuner. The on thing I am struggling with is switching inputs, going from laptop to my PC. The picture is way off. I'll go through and change the picture mode, or customize picture and the white washed screen doesn't look right. I turn the monitor off and on and then its okay. I plan on contacting support about this. That is the only con.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Convenient Monitor Very happy, performs well and most importantly it saves me a lot of space. It is like having 4 x 21.5" monitors. It may be a little big, but smaller would me the four 1920x1080 too small for my eyes. I wish it was curved at this size and resolution but no one makes such yet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LED backlight failed at 2 years Stay away from this monitor-- it has reliability issues. LED backlight has failed after about 2 years of use, just long enough to be outside the extended warranty offered by my credit card. Half of the screen no longer lights up, making the monitor unusable. This is my fourth LG monitor and my wife still uses one I bought 10 years ago, so I was very upset to see this model fail after such a short time. If you search for "LG 43UN700-B backlight reddit" you'll see that I'm not the only one to encounter this problem. Buying this monitor is an expensive gamble.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stay away from this product, backlight issues I bought this product after getting a similar review from LTT that you can use it as a seamless monitor for 4 computers. I was able to do that using synergi kvm software and the PIP feature of the TV and more than 4 multiple inputs hdmi, dp, and usb c. My gripe on this monitor is that the backlight does not last, last only until the warranty expires. Some of the LED on the right side is now dim. As much as a wanted to reduce ewaste, It's not repairable since parts are not available publicly and LED backlight is sealed, repair is more expensive than getting a new one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value! This is a fantastic monitor with great color, brightness, contrast, and viewing angle. It’s heavy and sturdy, and the stand was easy to install. The built-in speakers aren’t too bad either.
