Large area for mouse. I use it on a glass desk and it works well enough. Seems a bit overpriced for a mouse pad but I guess I remember the days when they use to give the darn things away.

Great Mouse Pad
The mouse pad is large enough for my mouse/computing needs. It is very smooth, and rolls up easily for transport. I really like that it is a soft cloth material on the top surface.

One of the best pads for traveling.
Decent mousepad all around. Good smooth surface, very little resistance. Its a really nice size, even though I prefer full desk sized mats this one is actually just big enough to not cause problems for me while gaming. The average medium sized mousepad is usually not big enough for me. Also, while u might consider this a negative, it is very thin so if you go over the edge, you can just slide the mouse back on without it getting caught. It also rolls up very easily and unfolds flat instantly, which is very nice for travel.
Also.. its a great price. So yeah, if you dont have room for a desk mat or want a travel mouse pad, this is a great option.
