Awesome product
I stupidly set my tablet on the roof of my car and drove away. My wife found it in the middle of the road, the case shattered, but my tablet in perfect shape. I'm repurchasing and would recommend to everybody.

Almost Perfect!
I have tried MANY cases for various devices over the years, and no one offers a more premium and durable feel than the Otterbox Defender Series!
The Galaxy Tab S6 case is offered only with the screen protector built-in (unlike my iPhone XS Max case which I was able to buy without. These plastic covers are terrible; the first thing I did was remove it, which fortunately was easy to do. The only downside is that there is now a small gap between the device and the plastic of the case which dirt/dust can ingress in. Not a big deal though.
One area for improvement would be to build a slim plastic kick-stand into the back of the case itself instead of in the front cover.
I no longer need to worry about damaging my expensive tablet if I drop it. I HIGHLY recommend the Otterbox Defender case for anyone who wants the best protection along with a snug fitting and high-end feeling case!

What all Defender Series needs to be.
This is what all screenless editions of the Defender Series needs to be again. This case is all I expected it to be and I couldn't ask for more. Be cautious though, as the screen protector doesn't allow for the use of the under screen fingerprint scanner. A minor inconvenience.

I bought the Otterbox as I required a heavy duty cover for my galaxy Tab as I am a building contractor. This cover doesn’t disappoint and excellent quality.

Tough as Nails
Being a tradie I was after a case to protect my device from the rough treatment it was about to endure. Having a hard removable cover to protect the screen when not in use is one of the reasons for purchasing it. Secondly the detachable front cover doubles as a tablet stand when out and about or sitting at a desk. Great product. Highly recommend it to anyone who either works in a harsh environment or has kids.

First Tablet Defender Purchase
I'm overall happy with the purchase, it does what it is intended to do and protects the device. It's Sleek and not bulky, the hard outer case works well as a stand for any position. The sound quality is not inhibited by the case at all, I think it still sounds the same as before it was on the tablet. The only complaint I have about it, is with the built in screen protector on the face of it, inhibits the use of the thumb print. I've tried a few different approaches, even reprogramming the thumb and it just doesn't read it or pick it up at all.

A great case, Lacking a few functionalities.
I bought this case about a month ago along with the tablet. I feel much safer carrying around the tablet with this case on it now as its identical to the defender series for the normal phone cases. I like how there is a built in screen protector into the case. The S-pen on the creen protector works just fine, it was a little taky at first and just by dragging my hand across to wipe some factory residue fixed that issue. Also note that the built in screen fingerprint scanner does NOT work through the protector sheild. The slot in the back is perfect for the S-pen so the tablet can lay flat and no pressure is applied to the pen or camera, the edges are raised so laying flat on a surface it is gripped well and prevents sliding. The case does not have a stand but like other otterboxes the plastic clip case it comes with grips to surfaces and the middle folds up to provide 2 angles for the tablet to be propped up at. Next, a keyboard can't be attached with this case on, I would reccomend getting a bluetooth keyboard if thats of interest to you. Overall this is a great case and offers great protection to be carried around. I would like to see a Strada Series Folio case with a built in keyboard be an option for tablets.

When I ordered my new Samsung Tab S6, I immedeatly also ordered the Otterbox Defender for the tablet. I am quite happy with my Defender for the Samsung Note 10+, so the decision was easy.
Why only 4 stars? Well, the screen protector integrated in the S6 Defender is quite useless. Not only the hassle to mount it without any fleck of dust. The major issue is that the screen protector also protects the finger print reader from working, and it makes using the stylus for writing/drawing terrible (it feels somewhat "sticky").
So, after approx. 2 hours I decided to remove the screen protector completely (luckily that was quite easy). So, now the screen is not "protected" (my S4 didn't suffer a single scratch in 2 years without), and I am happily using the finger print scanner and the stylus.
So, my suggestion to Otterbox: get rid of that stupid screen protector. The rest, I love!

It needs work
Bought it not too long ago for my new Galaxy Tab S6 after having one on my 2nd generation iPad for about 8 years now. I also have had a defender series case on ever single one of my cell phones for as long as Otterbox has been making cases. I like to take care of my electronics and if there is a case made I always go for an Otterbox Defender.
The case doesn’t sit flush on the back of the tab where the slot for the S Pen is. There’s a noticeable gap and I am able to push it down without much force. The built in screen protector
also doesn’t seem to sit flush up against the screen so I can feel it flex down when I touch the
screen. Yes, I did make sure that all snap-in points were secured and positioned correctly.
I’m seriously considering returning it for Samsung’s official folio case and a separate screen protector.

Protecting your valuable assets!
I purchased a new tablet for my wife's Christmas present, a Samsung Galaxy Tablet wasn't cheap and very fragile.
I purchased an Otterbox to protect it from being damaged, I have one for my work I pad and I work construction.
With out Otterbox protecting my work assets on the jobsite, I would be purchasing one or two tablets a year!!
Accidents happen so protect your lively hood with a Otterbox!
