I love it for many reasons however there is a flaw
I love the simplicity of the case...it
functions like a phone case...no cover to flip or get in the way. However I find that the button placements are 'off' making it difficult to use the sleep button on top and impossible to use the volume controls. The position of these needs a slight recalibration. Otherwise it works as I had hoped. Thank you.

Love this case until I purchase an Apple Pencil
I brought this case together with the iPad mini 1 year ago. The push buttons are tough, but my headphone has volume control and the magnetic cover override the screen on/off button. Screen capture is a real problem. Then I acquired an Apple Pencil last week and almost lost it. The plastic holding the pen loop cracked.

Minor disappointment
I love this Otterbox iPad case. It's clear so the rose gold color of my iPad is still visible, and it provides some weight and sturdiness to the iPad. However, the on/off and volume buttons are almost impossible to click. I've clicked on "yes, I would recommend," but I would do so with a caveat.

Otterbox for IPAD Mini 5
The box is very light weight and hopefully if the unit is dropped it would protect it. My only complaint is that the volume buttons on the side are extremely hard to push thereby making it very hard to adjust the volume. Other than that, it is great, but the volume buttons is a major flaw.

the worst cover ever
this piece is nothing... it doesn't work proper.
u can't switch on/off the iPad. u have lift the cover to reach the button.

Buttons are difficult to press through the case
I got this case to cover an iPad Mini for my wife this Christmas. She wanted a clear case without a cover and she hates cases. The on/off button and the volume buttons are difficult to press through the case. The back of the case is very slippery. If you set the iPad mini on a hard surface like a laminate table top, a bump could knock it off the surface. If some of the rubber edging was in contact the table it would be better.

LOVE it!
When I dropped my new iPad four times in the first week of having it, I decided I needed to get an Otterbox for it. Not only is it perfect for protecting the iPad but it also makes it easier to hold (meaning I don't drop it! I highly recommend this product to anyone who wants to keep their iPad safe.

Good product
Bought this for my ipad mini 5th gen. built quality is good. The buttons are bit hard to press. The pen loop at the right side is not ideal, because disturbing the volume rocker. Overall quality is good.
