I’ve had this cover for 3wks now. All and all it’s a good case. It’s very sleek feeling. It don’t feel slick like you’re about to drop it all the time. I like the convenient flip out stand on the back. My only dislike it that the buttons on the side are to hard to push. First 2wks of using it. My figures were sore from the volume buttons and the on/off button. So be prepared. But all and all. Great case. Highly recommend buying it. 5 “STARS” for me.

Beautiful + Practical

It does what it's supposed to do
The casing itself does the job. It's keeping the tablet protected from the tossing around by our toddler. The back snap stand of the case stopped working two days after receiving it. Only one side snaps straight for laying on a flat surface. Needless to say, it's annoying to always have the back stand up when it's not needed. Otherwise, it works.

Functional ! Great design! But!
It fits great, built in screen protector is a huge plus, love the stand on the back it's sturdier than I thought, BUT! It's such a pain on the first installation, apparently a credit card makes installation easier but I'm way too afraid to even think of retrying it.

Protection fail!
OtterBox for iPad 6th Generation was a failure for my iPad. I thought the front and back covers provided an extra layer of screen protection- however, when the iPad was accidentally dropped flat the screen completely shattered! The look and feel of the cover are excellent but protective- no.

Very slick
I bought this 2 weeks ago, it fits nicely love the clear look because I like to show off the colour. It’s nice and thin.
The case itself when on seems a little heavy but that doesn’t matter.
The rubber bar at the back is nice to prop the iPad up. But it’s not that sturdy so make sure you don’t have it near a edge. Other then that the case is fantastic

I love the complete coverage this case provides without compromising the look with a bulky case! I love the fact that I can still see the back of my iPad. Was a bit tricky to put on the iPad and the buttons are a bit hard to push. However, that could possibly loosen the more I have to push them. I am so happy about the little arms on the back that allow you to set the iPad on its side!! Besides the complete coverage of the case, this has to be my favorite part. It's sooo convenient!!!
The only thing that I was not thrilled about was the packaging that it was shipped in. It did not come in a box. The front and the back was in individual clear bags and the outer "box" wasn't a box at all. just the corrugated cardboard envelope. I'm glad that there wasn't any damage to the Otterbox. The iPad case as a whole I am thrilled with!

Not up to standards
The fold out stand failed after on day. Pushing the buttons are very difficult. Had to use a screwdriver could not push buttons with finger. I was shocked at the loss quality. I was always willing the pay Otterbox premium price the quality not this time

Save you money, don't buy this product. The screen cover is a a pain in the butt to install if you can get it on let a lone taking it off. Otterbox use to be the case to go after NOT any more look at the limited case colors for the Defender. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER OTTERBOX PRODUCT! JUNK!

Good decision
I bought this to protect our new iPad, and I’ve been really happy with it. It fits snuggly and securely. The screen protector does not make the screen less responsive. It provides protection from every angle, and the stand is super-handy.

Too small for brand new ipad
I have loved Otterbox to ptect my iPad in the past but now that I have the new 2020 version I find that every cover I’ve ordered is at least 1/3” too small!

Not as easy to install
The case definitely protects the iPad from drops, and I appreciate the slimmer design. However, I watched the installation video, and the two parts did not click together as easily for me. I had to use a screwdriver to get the lip of the back piece over the front piece. Also, popping out the stand is harder for my child than it shows on the video. Hopefully it will get easier with continued use.
I don’t think I would buy this again.

Nice and lightweight
I love the ipad case, it is lighter than the Defender series I had but the same good protection. It is a two piece case which protects the ipad and its screen. My ipad is now protected without a weighty case. thanks, Otterbox.

Much better than the old iPad case
I had bought an older iPad from a telephone store dealer, non-authorized Apple sales, and he gave me a defender case at that time. I have a newer iPad now fifth generation and this new sleek case is perfect in my backpack and as I move from place to place. I really like it a lot. It was easy to install it’s easy enough to remove, and it makes my iPad neat And sleek to fit into my backpack.

I love that my iPad is protected, but I do not love that the button for On/Off is extremely hard to press, to the point that it literally hurts my fingers to turn it on and off. Also the volume up and down buttons are equally as hard. Way too hard for my old lady fingers and that makes me sad :(

Im use to the defender series cases so this was a big change for me. I got it because I wanted something different and less bulky. Since I have older kids I think it will be fine. However if your kids are under five I would trust anything other than a defender case. It doesn’t seem like the same level of protection. It is slim, fully functioning, lovely to look at, the stand works as advertised, and I might buy it again next time

Wish i had a fold over faux leather. Shock proof corners a plastic screen cover, to prevent scratches will have to do..will, have to be stored vertically.

Great Case
After reviewing hundreds of iPad cases, I chose the Otterbox UnlimitEd because of its slim and clear features. I have to admit, I was hesitant because of the reviews about it being hard to put on and take off. I took and a gamble and it paid off. The case was indeed hard to put on. I made sure there was no dust or lint on the screen since I am pretty certain it’s never coming off. I attempted all of two seconds to take it off and it is NOT coming off unless I want to lose a nail. So, I don’t mind because the case is pretty great. The screen is clear and the back of the iPad is still visible which looks nice.
I’m conclusion, I recommend the case because it is very sturdy, slim, and nice looking. My kid loves it. It is very light and the stand is great since you can snap on or off as needed.

Difficult to Use
I’ve had this otter box for iPad for a couple of weeks now. I find it very difficult to use the volume control buttons and the on/off button. It takes great finger pressure to get a response out of them.

I got this cover for my little boys’ iPad. It looks great for the most part. The screen cover is rough around the circle hole that goes over the button. It hasn’t been used much at this point since it’s a Christmas gift so I can’t vouch for how well it holds up. It’s much lighter weight and less bulky than the defender series. Love it so far!

Not as good as the other design I had before.
So, this is a brand new design that otter made. For some reason the product that I received always coming off every single time. I called the customer service and they were very awesome! They sent a new one right away. The second one that I received is way better than the first one but still just a some part of it is slighty getting loose. The design itself was not good but I’m still recommending the otterbox brand because the rest of my gadgets cases are otter and I never had any problem with those. This product is the first one so far. I just got tired of calling the customer service again.

Very low profile.
I bought this through otter box after I had purchased the wrong one on amazon. The rep was very nice on the phone and apologized even though it was my fault. She gave me a discount since I went through a little trouble. Very pleased with the purchase. Only reason for 4 stars is that face of it was kinda weird to get on but I love how low profile it is. I’m using it for school so I’m happy to be able to store it away.

Problems IPad
The plastic clear cover does not land flush against the screen which makes typing and navigating annoying. It takes away from the sleekness and overall appearance of the IPad. I was advised by someone to just cut off the clear plastic and buy a separate screen protector so that is what I did. Also, the top piece that secures in the IPad doesn’t quite seem secure regardless of how much I adjust it which makes me think it might fall out one day. I just feel like I wasted my money buying this. I should have just bought the Defender case but I was looking for a sleeker look vs bulky.

Great iPad stand!
I got this for my 6 year old’s iPad. It protects it well but isn’t too bulky. The best feature is the fold out stand on the back. The iPad sits at the perfect angle for him. I gave it 4 stars because the front frame pops out a little sometimes and I need to make sure it’s pushed in and secure.

I recommend getting this if you are in the market for an iPad. Bought his before I actually had the iPad. Put it in the case as soon as I opened it. If I ever decide to upgrade I know I can resale my tablet for top value. It doesn’t even have a fingerprint on it.

IPAD 5th GIeneration Case
I purchased this protective case in January 2018, I'm please with the protection, because it's for my 6 year old granddaughter. I definitely need the extra protection. I would have preferred a built in stand because the peel back stand on the 5th gen. has broken already the plastic pieces are fragile. The piece is in warranty being replaced costing me shipping and handling.

Protects a costly item
I would hate to have to spend money repairing my iPad when there is something like otter box available. I’ve had covers for past iPads but none offered the protection of Otterbox. Well worth the investment

feels over priced
It’s an alright case, but I have a bit of buyers remorse, feeling like I could have gotten the same amount of protection with a $30 case and a screen protector from Amazon. I like that it is light and the slim design, and what attracted me to it was the built in screen protector. However, now that I have it, I question the the screen protectors ability to protect against damage, and the two halves of the case tend to pull apart during use, especially near the home button. I use my tablet for work, and it is being used outside on a weekly basis. I purchased an Otterbox in hopes of getting peace of mind that should my tablet be dropped, it would be protected. Unfortunately, I do not have that confidence.
Overall, it’s not a bad case, it holds my tablet, but it is not one I would buy again.

I chose this UnlimitEd case because I wanted a lighter but durable case for my 5th gen iPad, compared to the Defender. I have a Defender case for an older iPad and it adds a lot of weight (and also the stand that doubles as a cover has broken twice). I was very disappointed by the quality of the UnlimitEd however. It seemed to barely hold tight where the edges snap together, and I was not confident that it would stay on. In addition, the clever stand at the back is too bendy to be practical. If you touch the iPad at all when it is propped up at either angle, it jiggles. It is useless for typing. I decided to return the case.

I've had this case about 2 weeks now, but I'm not liking the stand on the back. I use my iPad on my lap a lot and this isn't as good as the flat stand that would unfold. I won't buy another case like this!
I'm also wondering how my iPad will travel with no protection for the screen. I bring it with me quite a bit but I don't want the screen to get wrecked!

Good concept-poor execution
I liked the idea of this-a much simpler, easier version of the defender. However the front does not fit tightly to the back and the stand is very wobbly. Not sure why they thought this would hold up a regular sized iPad-it would be better for a mini. I returned it for a defender.

Doesn't fit properly
I bought this a month ago and I was very careful to buy the correct case. When it arrived and I tried to put it on it almost fit. It was so close! But, it does not seal. I struggled with it for a few days and then brought it to the electronics store that sells iPads and otterboxes. The store owner told me it was defective. Sort of ironic that otterbox emailed me to ask me to review... still like my otter phone case the defender.....

I would have given it 5 stars but the only issue and I have bought 2, is the tabs to turn it on off, you can hardly do that so I have to go into Settings to turn it off.

Give yourself some time putting this together.
I don't know if it's just me or if it's the case but it is VERY difficult to finish putting together once the IPad is inside the two halves. You have to use a small straight slot screwdriver to get the sides to seal. Seems like it should just snap together but it doesn't. The directions that came with the case were practically non-existent. Once you get it put together and have prayed for forgiveness for your language trying to seal it, the case does a great job of protecting the IPad.
