Rated 5 out of 5 by from Decent product when it works, terrible warranty I purchased the monitor for colour accurate office productivity work, and decided to spend the extra money for a monitor that offered solid warranty support. In choosing Philips, I made a mistake. The monitor functioned as promised for less than 4 months, then a purple solid vertical line developed on the monitor (see picture), too soon for a high quality product. I need the monitor for professional use, and this is highly distracting. Now all monitors can develop problems, that is why I was glad I purchased a professional oriented monitor with a long warranty. Boy was that not the case. The replacement arrived about 3 weeks after, it was poorly packed, and arrived already broken (and pre-used, though this in of itself is OK). How ridiculous to send a broken monitor! Had to go back through the warranty process. Here comes the kicker. The monitor ships from the US and I'm in Canada. Philips did not declare the second replacement as a warranty replacement, nor did they pay the duties. A month after receiving the monitor I got a bill for $104.78 for a monitor for which I HAVE ALREADY PAID! That was two months ago, and after numerous calls to Philips, where they admit this is their mistake, they still have not clarified with Fedex, or paid the duties. Fedex is threatening to send me to a collection agency since the monitor shipped to my address. Do you really want to pay the premium for a "professional" monitor with a long warranty when the service is poor and the warranty can cost you 100s of dollars more through negligence???

Rated 5 out of 5 by from How to get 4k 60hz at windows For those windows users who have usb 2.0 enabled but still cannot get 4k@60hz. First turn your usb mode from 2.0 to 3.2 and then turn it back. The magic happens! You will get 4k@60hz.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Monitor!.. This is an incredible monitor for a range of computing tasks - from graphic editing and design, to programming, to watching movies - the colour accuracy is amazing, while the monitor is non-fatiguing on the eyes. Excellent product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent tone uniformity, great monitor overall Just for the sake of people having 4K@60Hz problem let it be known that this model does support 60Hz refresh rate via both HDMI 2.0 and USB-C. For it to work via USB-C connection though, one must got in the on-screen display settings menu and choose "USB Settings" -> "USB 2.0". Because the default "USB 3.2" value will only allow 30Hz refresh rate over USB-C connection.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good price for a solid monitor! This monitor was worth the wait through the pandemic to get. I have it connected to my Macbook Pro 2019 from work and am very happy with the results. The video is responsive and quick. The only shortcoming might be that the USB hub where you can connect to USB devices is not powered, that would have been a nice to have for external hard drives.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 30Hz only Very disappointed with this product. Advertised as 4k @ 60Hz, but its 30Hz at all resolutions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very disappointed!!! would not recommend to anyone The second review - I bought this monitor second time and reviewing it because I love the features. Now I am using it with MacBook Pro 16-inch model specifically for gaming. unfortunately, in any case, I can not use 4K@60Hz. I tried all methods but did not work. I tried to contact Amazon support but they did not help except offering return. I think its cable USB C cable issue since I am able to get 4K@60Hz with thunderbolt 3 cable which I tested recently. It’s unfortunate that Phillips is not taking care of this problem. Very disappointed!!! would not recommend to anyone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Picture quality-Lots of connectivity Great IPS panel provides excellent picture quality. Thin bezels and modern looking design. Lots of connectivity including USB-C, USB ports, Ethernet, HDMI and display port, and headphone jack. I have connected all the peripherals (mouse, joystick and headphone) to the monitor and with single USB-C cable connected all to my laptop. Only downside is that it supports 60Hz4K only on USB2 setting and if you chose USB3 it can only support 30Hz which is not usable. If this is crucial for you be aware. Other than this, at this price, I totally recommend this monitor.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cheaper than some name brand USB-C hubs This monitor is perfectly paired with a Thunderbolt 3 MacBook Pro acting as a USB-C dock with power delivery so I only have a single cable going to the computer. This is cheaper than some of the USB-C docks that I have purchased in the past with the bright 4k display and eye care / low blue mode settings, it checks all of the boxes for me. The only think I would like to see would be a 2nd USB-C connection that you could switch to and from so that I could connect it to my Mac and PC and switch between them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic monitor for the price! Wow, 4K looks brilliant! I love the USB-C dock and it even comes with a cable for it. Plug your Macbook in and you get the extra monitor + charging. Then if you need to plug in a USB keyboard, you can use the monitor's other USB ports. Getting it to use 60hz was tricky but once you know what to do, it works great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful display with Some Issues..... After long research, I ordered this display . I liked this monitor because of many good Specs (like 4K-IPS display, UCB C with PD, adjustable height and many more good features...). At this price monitor looks very promising. I would recommend this monitor if one is ok with Issues below. The issues with MacOS..... 1. The USB @3.2 feature can not be used with USB C connection to get 60Hz. It has to be USB @2.0 in order to use 60Hz. 2. The default display resolution was 1080P while one can scaled to other resolution. The best scaled resolution with usable text size was 2K (2560x 1440). Full 4K display setting showed very tiny unusable. However, Philips could provide driver for HiDPI or bigger text setting. Currently, there is no driver from Philips available for MacOS.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from DO NOT BUY if you are a Mac user The best part of this monitor: Just one cable. You plug the included USB-C cable into your Macbook and that's it. That single cable provides power to charge your battery, AND sends the video signal AND audio AND network AND the usb hub. It's amazing. The picture quality appears to be really decent too. HOWEVER, I can't really test the image quality because there's a major flaw that currently makes it unusable for most Mac users. Normally, with every other monitor, you can make the UI bigger or smaller so you keep your optimal resolution, but the UI can scale within that. This monitor is appearing to OSX as unsupported, so there are no scaling options. That means you can either set it at the full 4k resolution and scale (which is tiny and unusable) or at 1080p (which is huge and defeats the purpose of going 4k). If it doesn't get support in a couple of weeks, I'll have to return it.
