Plantronics SupraPlus HW251N - headset is rated3.94 out of5 by17.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Terrible soundThe incoming sound of this headset is extremely poor. The microphone quality seems to be fair. I used with the Plantronics M22 amp and it's a struggle to understand both men's and women's voices. Downright bad. Headset seems comfortable for the 10 minutes or so I tried it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AwfulI never thought I'd have to pay $100 for a telephone receiver that one wears on one's head...shouldn't something like this cost $30 in the 21st century? Moreover, I was highly disappointed that the headset did not connect to a telephone! Instead, at the end of the cord is a "Quick Connect" latch, which looks to me to be Plantronic's excuse to force me to purchase their $45 adapter cable. Here's an idea...why don't you design a headset that actually connects directly to a telephone? I know you've discovered that technology already, because there are a few old Plantronics headsets floating around my office that do just that.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hurts my ear and still can't hearI have used this headset for two months now and I still find them extremely uncomfortable. The ear pad is laughable, zero padding. I have to turn my phone all the way up to hear. At times when there is a lot of background noise I have to smash it against my ear just to hear. I really wish they offered an over the ear noise canceling option.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly what we neededI purchased this model to help meet the needs of our new call center.  Since we are a not-for-profit, cost as well as performance were critical.  Met both needs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It just works!I bought the Plantronics HW251N Noise Cancelling Headset. It works great with my current office phone. No amplifier was needed to have it work well. I am impressed with Plantronics in general. Not just the products but the company also. I called and asked for some help in selecting a good headset. They were polite, helpful, knowledgeable and professional. Most of all I appreciated their desire to have you be a happy customer. I cannot imagine going anywhere else for telephone headset equipment. Great company! Great People! Great Products!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I want to love itI want to love this product, but I use a NEC DT330 office phone, and don't know which adapter to use to plug the headset into the phone...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for a Home base Job!I know it's an old series of Plantronics, but this one never fails to impress me especially the noise cancellation. I can work fine at home even there's a noisy background. I was thinking to get a new model like wireless but I can't afford it anymore, it's expensive. lol'Thank you so much, Plantronics! Good job!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Mic level volume very lowThe volume on the microphone is very low, customer could barely hear me on other end. I would not buy again. You would think that if you spend almost $100 on a headset that it would come with all the pieces. Nope, you still have to buy the adapter that connects your headset to the IP Phone.
