L'extendeur USB1.1 USB110EXT2 vous permet de prolonger une connexion USB 1.1 sur une distance pouvant atteindre 40 mètres à l'aide d'un câblage UTP Cat5 ou Cat6 standard, dépassant ainsi la limitation normale de 5 m des périphériques USB 1.1 et permettant de stocker le système informatique à distance, dans un endroit sûr.
L'extendeur USB offre un design compact qui ne nécessite pas d'alimentation externe, ce qui en fait la solution idéale pour les caméras, claviers, souris ou autres périphériques d'entrée USB distants dans les environnements où l'espace d'installation ou l'accès aux prises électriques sont limités.
Fournissant jusqu'à 300 mA d'alimentation (lorsque l'ordinateur lui en fournit 500 mA), cet extendeur est pleinement compatible avec les spécifications USB 1.1, avec la prise en charge d'une vitesse de transfert pouvant atteindre 12 Mb/s.

Rated 5 out of 5 byStarr from USB Extender over Cat5/6This is an awesome product for the price. It was as easy as taking it out of the box, plugging in the the extenders and the Cat5 cable. I was able to power a USB external hard drive through the extenders and played an HD quality .mp4 video across it from the hard drive with excellent quality and resolution.

If you need to extend a USB device over a long distance then is is a nice option. I have a printer that needed to be connected but the only option was to go up a wall and through the ceiling to the other side of the room. Well luckily we have cat 6 already in the walls so a simple connection and voila my printer was connected and had no issues connecting. I did try this in another spot as well but when I was at the longer distance I think it is important to use cat 6. The extra shielding in the cable makes a bit of difference but only in the long long use.Overall really easy and works. I wish this was a USB 2 or 3 connector but it does work for most devices although speed is not what this is intended for.I received this product in exchange for an unbiased review.
