I use my unit to protect my all-in-one Windows desktop computer, router, modem, and printer from surges, spikes, and brownouts. I am glad I got a unit with AVR.

One at bedroom the other at the familyroom which allowed me to monitor an electrical problem within the house wiring. The LED screen was very helpful at seeing the incoming voltage variations when the alarm sounded-off. Showed electrician the LED screen photos which helped. Would buy more when the need arises.

Rated 5 out of 5 byrgmichel from Last almost forever; work well in many situationsI have several of these in my AV cupboard protecting TiVos, network equipment, DVD player, AV receiver, etc, etc. They cover me when the power goes out for about 20 seconds while my generator comes on, and continue to protect against overvoltages etc, while the power is out. They are trouble free, worry-free, and utterly reliable. I have one that has lasted about ten years, and I have only replaced one or two batteries in that time. The only problem I have is that my oldest one has a very faded LCD screen that is now difficult to read, but it keeps working just the same. i tried another brand that is well-known and it had difficult compensating for overvoltages.
