The vision tek portable dock is easy to install and enabled me have three monitors used at once. It gave me extra usb ports that I desperately needed. It is very small and compact in size and fit perfectly on my desk.

Amazing how easy this made my life!
As someone who works with multiple displays and devices, the VisionTek VT200 is so very appreciated. Great passthrough
This docking station worked just as I was hoping. I was able to plug my laptop in to my larger monitor and split screen. This is very useful as my work requires me to work both on and off a server. There are several different ports including HDMI, USB-A, USB-C, DP, and PNG. The base of the unit has a nice non-slip feel which keeps it in place. The unit itself is small and does not take up much space. Five stars overall.

I got my VisionTekVT 200 portable USB-C dual docking station a few weeks ago and I am absolutely impressed, the speed and reliability is amazing and it keeps all my plugs in one spot fits perfectly behind my PC I have literally no complaints!

The visiontek VT200 portable dual docking station is a great addition while I work from home. I needed to extend my display and this docking station did just that. It does exactly what it’s supposed to do without any issues. It gives you enough desktop space to run both applications. Great docking station and great price.

This docking station makes sharing items on my computer so easy. It helps me get my work done faster and more smooth than how I was doing it before. I use it for work and personal use and some gaming and have found it comes in handy a lot and has less limitations than the previous item I was using.

Only mirrors the displays for macbook from the HDMI and the display port ports instead of splitting into dual displays. Do not buy if you have a macbook and are hoping to use more than on monitor as independent displays and not just to mirror the display

It works, but not great with wireless usb accessor
Overall it does what I ask it to. I can connect a power supply and two monitors (with extended display to dock in my Dell latitude laptop.
It doesn't work great with my wireless usb keyboard/mouse dongle. They are choppy/unresponsive. I'm not sure if this is because I only have a 45 watt power supply. I have not tried any wired USB accessories with this dock.
Doesn't bug me too much since the USB dongle can stay plugged into my laptop.

Haven't used any of the display ports. I just use it as a USB hub for external storage and it works fine. Reads/writes to external SSD are as fast as local SSD. No complaints.

Sub-par Power Passthrough
The docking station offers plenty of ports for utility, however the power passthrough did not function as advertised with enough power to support my XPS13 laptop in normal mode.

Works and functions great, could use a longer USB-C cord...make sure to purchase a USB-C 3.1 cord if going that route. Also needs a Dell 65w charger to support pass through charging.

The best dock I’ve owned!
This VisionTek portable dock is the BEST dock I’ve ever owned. Its size is perfect for traveling (smaller than an iPhone), and it has all the connections one might need to be effective in different setups. It is also very sturdy, and it looks nice. I travel quite often for work, and with this dock, I am not afraid that I won’t have the right connection for an upcoming conference room setup. It has: USB ports x2, USB-C ports x2, HDMI x1, DisplayPort x1, and VGA port x1.
It connects to your computer via USB-C, and it comes with a USB-C to USB-C cable which I wish was 2 or 3 inches longer as it hangs when using my laptop stand. So, if your computer does not have a USB-C port, you might not be able to use it properly.
I use it with a 16” MacBook Pro, and it always works well. I often most of the ports (webcam, keyboard, headphones, HDMI, etc.) and I never got a “low-power” message which I used to get using previous docks. One of my favorite features is that it has a small space in which you can slide the USB-C to USB-C cable when traveling; it definitely avoids losing it! I definitely recommend this dock for everyday use, whether home office or on the go.

It’s works but inside needs work
The device it’s self is a bit confusing it works well once you figure it out. The instruction manual it comes with doesn’t give you much information it just really tells you what outlet is for what. It does not really tell you if it needs to be charged before use or how long it needs to charge for and it doesn’t tell you how to really use it.

Portable, convenient, and works like a charm.
It took me a while to find the cable. I thought it didn't come with one but it does! I thought the front was lights. It isn't. It is actually the cable tucked into a slot.
Plugs in great and works like a charm.
Only flaw, I wish it had lights to indicate it was getting power.

It's almost perfect
The portability of this device really helped when I traveled to different locations. It was easy to connect and took up very little space on a workstation. I do think that the cord could be longer.I think having an external cord instead of one being able to fit on the side of the device would be better from a functionality standpoint.

Fantastic add on while traveling
Finally being able to travel, my work laptop limited me to one additional monitor. The VT200 has allowed me to quickly connect two monitors to my work laptop at remote locations without having to lug around a huge docking station. The pass through power from my laptop is a plus since most docking station power blocks are large. Great product overall!

This Vision Tek Portable USB-C docking station is the cutest little accessory. It is smaller than I thought it would be when taking it out of the package, about the size of an iphone 7. It comes with a USB-C cable that tucks neatly in the side of the unit for travel.

I'm not too tech savvy but my son wanted to set up dual monitors in his room. It worked well for that setup with no issue. I tried it with my laptop and it seemed to not work as well as a power source to the laptop. I think if you're trying to configure an uncomplicated setup with monitors it's great. I'd recommend for what it's worth.

This is a great, lightweight, small and portable dock. This allows you to connect to any host with a Type-C connector and connect additional monitors and accessories through a single cable. It's pretty simple to set up - you connect the cable to the docking station and plug it into your computer. Then you just connect your displays to the docking system - there are spots for a VGA cable, HDMI cable and DisplayPort for monitors and two USB ports. You can then set up your video settings on your computer. You can also hook this up to a power source for charging.

Easy to use, great to work from home!
My computer for work is a laptop, due to the situation that I have to be able to travel and keep working.
So when I have to work from home that is more and more often I use my Laptop at home but after many hours gets very uncomfortable.
I was thinking to by a new desktop to have it at home, but ot didn't make any sense to have 2 computers and make that Investment, so I found this option that is perfect for my current situation.
I got 2 screens, the printer, mouse and keyboard everything connected to this dock station like it is a desktop, and when I have to work from home I just connected one cable from the laptop to the dock station and that's it now it becomes a desktop with all the advantages.
The quality is very high, and also work very well.
If you have a laptop you need to have one of these to make your own working station at home, but keep the flexibility of your laptop.

This port has worked well with my HP Laptop that I use for person business. The port has a really sleek design and is very lightweight. It is great use it if you have a few accessories, but not so great if you have a lot. The port did not really pass power through to my laptop like I thought it would, but it does the job .The port can get hot after a lot of use. I would recommend if you are looking for a good port.

For someone working from home, the need for more than one monitor is crucial. This VisionTek VT200 docking station allows just for that! The build quality is great and its small design allows it to fit anywhere. The only con is that it only connects with a USB-C connection, so if your laptop or computer does not have this connection, it will not work.

It's nice!
I was somewhat unsure of this but it works really well for my needs. I love being able to connect to two monitors and I was really happy at how easy it is to use. Sometimes I need help from my teenagers to get started using any new (to me) technology, but I had zero problems getting this set up all my myself.
It does what it says it will and does it well. I was surprised at how small it is, but I actually really like it this way and I'm vry pleased with it.
It does come with a power cord, but it's very short. But that's no big deal, I just switched it for a longer one and put the shorter one up for emergencies.
So happy I got this!
Will be getting additional units for my teens so they can game harder!

Great on the go charger!
When it comes to being on the go, I don't have a reliable charger really that I can use in my purse. So that is why I was excited when this portable charging port came in the mail!
It needs charged by itself prior to being able to use it but other than that, just connect it to your compatible phone that it works well with, and you're good to go! This would be the perfect charging port to use on an airplane or on vacation even.
I love how small it is where it'll fit almost anywhere without being 'in the way'. It works great and is a good brand and I have had absolutely no cons to this charging port yet and have used it several times for my phone already. It is very convenient and I highly recommend it.

I used the VT200 dual dock station in my home office, since I have been working for home and still working on my side business this dual docking station came in handy, it was easy to plug up what I need in one dock it has plenty of ports and the duals screens came up and was running in no time. It don’t work with my MacBook but my other computers works fine, no stalking with running at all.

My company is implementing hybrid work arrangement and since I don’t want to change my docking set up at home, I decided to get this portable docking. Simple but functional
As a MacBook Pro user with only USB-C ports, I seem to always be stuck not having the right adapters. I keep this thing in my laptop bag so I always have access to add a monitor, some USB adapters, and can pass through to other USB-C devices. I love that this thing has the cord built in. Worth having a couple around just in case.

This USB C Portable dock works exactly as it should. I can now run two monitors from my laptop. Giving me the ease of using a big screen with the space of a laptop instead of pc. This is fantastic for when I need to bring my work laptop home and don't won't to be confined to 17". Once you plug everything up its like it's not even there. Love that!

Great for beginners
I recently added a monitor to my computer set up, allowing me to connect two monitors to my HP laptop. The VisionTek USB-C Portable Dock has multiple ports, including a HDMI Port, and a display port which are most important to me, but it also supports laptop charging, which is an added bonus (it charges a bit slow). The portable dock is as the name suggests, portable, it fits in the palm of my hand. Cords are not included, but that isn’t a deterrent from using the docking station. It works as intended and is beginner user friendly that is all I could hope for out of a product like this.

The Business Travel Solution!
This portable dock has solved my work travel concerns as I can now set up a work station in my hotel room or a conference room without and keep everything at hand. The slim, compact size fits neatly into my bag and is so light that it is barely noticeable. I can’t think of a reason not to get this, even if you just need a small space solution at home. This docking station was pretty much exactly what I was looking for.Everything worked right out of the bag. The package was great and the docking station has a very slick professional look to it. I would have given this five stars but I have one small issues with the unit. The main connection cable for docking station is less then a foot long and it's hard wired into the device. This makes it extremely difficult for me to put the docking station where I really want to put it. It’s kind of difficult because the box has to stay so close to the computer itself. I would have liked to have a tad bit longer cable so that I can be able to centrally located the dock or at least just leave the dock cable as a female input on the device so I can provide my own cable. If you are not gaming though then this thing is pretty decent , and will work great for your at home work set up.

Acceptable for what it does
This product works fine as a USB hub, allowing me to keep using some legacy type-A cables a bit longer. However overall I found that a mix of wireless peripherals and dedicated Thunderbolt cables worked better for me. The dock lacks Displayport 1.4 and cannot supply enough power for my XPS 17 under full load, but that being said, it does function without issue.

Dock Sucks
I can't even plug it into my laptop or any of my monitors or accessories into it... it's like the dock isn't even there... oh wait it isn't! Where is my dock Dell? Where is my Dock?!

The USB C cable needs to be bigger. Only has 2 normal USB ports, a third would be nice. Works well though

Excellent Small Docking Station
Be careful with the pass through power, not all laptops are compatible with all USB-C chargers. It took me 4 tries before I found a charger that worked. Also note the limited number of USB ports.

Wrong docking station
VT200 was not the right docking station for my Dell computer. Dell support suggested this dock and it was incorrect. Sent it back.

Do not buy this docking station
Incompatible with dell xps laptop, even though a dell rep picked it for me , saying it was compatible. I used I to connect the xps laptop to my external monitor, printer, and mouse/keyboard, and all 3 often stopped working.

Great Product for the price
Good product for the price running 2 24 in monitors external hard drive mouse keyboard on it only downfall is size of usb-c cable had to order longer one to hide all the wires

Power Cord is too short
There is not enough length in the power cord. Thus, I do not have the ability to place the power strip straight. But rather I have to bend it. The tip of the cord is pulling away from the docket. Additionally, I cannot "add photo. And no, I would not recommend this product.

Simple solution. Love it.
I've been pleased with the VT200 I've been using for a couple months. Allows me to run 2 external monitors, wired ethernet (my kids suck up the wifi bandwith!), and multiple USB ports, all off of one laptop USB-c. Yes the 4 inch USB-C connecting cable is short but this has not been a problem for my set up.

Compact and functional but could use an upgrade.
The docking station works well but (1) I cannot find a power adapter for it and (2) it unplugs from the laptop too easily. It would be nice if there was a way to lock it to the laptop so it would not unplug so easily. I am able to make the connections to peripherals that I want connected.

Good but could be better
the docking station makes it very easy to use a larger monitor, key board and mouse. All the reasons I purchased it. One major downside is the length of the USB-C cable. It is far too short; it should not be called a cable. The VisionTek technical support can not even recommend a longer cable.

These are sweet pieces and are amazingly easy to setup.
We have been ordering the VT100 for a few years. The VT200 is more flexible and provides the additional ports we need to allow our home users the same technical experience as being in the office as far as docking capability, monitor and peripheral connectivity and ease of setup.
