Xerox B210/DNI - printer - monochrome - laser is rated 3.22 out of 5 by 51.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Print quality good but terrible connection and hopeless to use with Mac. This printer is impossible to set up with a Mac. It was bought specifically to use with wifi but we are unable to set up the wifi with our Mac and iPads. When connected using the cable it is very temperamental - sometimes it prints and sometimes it doesn't, saying that the printer is not connected when it is. Overall very infuriating!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from this product has more cons than pros. This product waste paper & ink by printing test page when powered on. The ink does not last as long as previous printer & powers off after pause in use causing more ink and paper to be wasted again when powered back on and also slows me up on getting documents out in a timely manner.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Happy with the purchase. This laser printer was very easy to setup right out of the box. It took me 7 minutes to have it up and running. The first thing I printed was shipping labels. I didn’t have to go through the endless wasteful cycling required by inkjet printers by other companies. You can download a manual from Xerox that covers everything you might need to know. I have several computers most of which are Apple Macs. I also have several tablets, smart phones and other devices. I would buy this printer again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's black and white and I love it I am tired of using ink jet printers that work for a few months and then the image quality goes away. I bought this because years ago I had a Xerox Phaser which I loved but after 13 years I needed a new printer. Looking at what I need a printer for I found out that color printing is not the most important feature. I needed a fast printer with high quality and dependability. My printer is used for printing letters, spreadsheets, checks, etc. This printer does it all and is dependable. I have confidence that months from now the quality will continue to be impeccable. Highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The B210: Great quality at a good price I am very pleased with the sharpness and quality of print. Print speed is more than adequate for my home office needs. I am also pleased with the printer size. It is compact and fits my desk well. The front load paper drawer and envelope feed is very convenient. The duplex feed has worked flawlessly. I used a direct USB cable to connect to the printer and setup was straight-forward, easy and quick. I have not used used the WiFi features of the printer so I have no opinion of that feature at present.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product but lacks support for Mac users Prints crisp and fast. Be aware the support provided by Xerox is very limited for Mac users. Unless you have an Ethernet cable (this is never mentioned in any of the product descriptions/literature) you are unable to connect to Wifi. A cable is required to initially set this function up. None of the other functions such as stopping the cover page from printing can be adjusted without a cable. A USB cable is provided with the item. An Ethernet one should be too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great little printer! This is an amazing little printer. It was SIMPLE to set up, works without any hitches, and is actually pretty fast! Using it for a work group of 5, and everyone has been very happy with the change from HP. I'd definitely recommend this printer for small office groups, or even at home! Toner price is definitely acceptable for a product in this range.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worst Printer EVER This has to be the worst, most infuriating printer I have ever had. Literally connecting it and trying to use it makes me want to kill myself. A WIRED ETHERNET CONNECTION AND I CANT GET IT TO FIND THE PRINTER! HOW! I had FINALLY got it to work after 2 HOURS...and a few weeks later we have a power outage and I swear to god I am back to square 1. What kind of complete idiots designed this printer. How are you so inept at your core business? I have had so many printers and NEVER had this much of a headache SIMPLY TRYING TO GET IT TO WORK. NEVER AGAIN.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent shipping service, easy setup Xerox came through when apparently all retail sellers were "out of stock". A friend working hard to get medical problems in order needed a monochrome laser printer. They were hard to find in stock in the "home office" category. Xerox got the shipment right out, setup was quick and easy and the printer has progress restored in advancing needed medical information and care. Xerox is now part of his medical team! Duplex printing option not available on many other printers also helps save a few trees.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just as advertised i finally got around and set-up my new printer. wow, it's great. i can print wirelessly, unbelievable. the quality of the documents are great. i have to print pages with scanner codes and they come out great. prints fast. so happy w/ it. the only thing as other reviewers have said, every time i print a new file it prints a cover page. it is a waste of paper/ink. i will have to recycle those pages b/c i print out a lot of docs. if they could fix that it would be the perfect small printer for home office.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great printer It's a great printer for the home and doesn't take up a lot of desk space. I love the fact that it duplicates, too. I spent a lot of time searching for a printer that would suit my needs and I am so happy with the Xerox B210.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Continuous Connection Issues, Limited Technical Help I feel that the printer itself will be a good choice if we will ever see it up and printing. There have been several connection issues and tech support's answer is to send you a new printer rather than figure out the problem; we are on printer number 3 currently. One of the most asked questions is how to disable the cover page that prints with each print job. If this is such a common issue, why is the manufacturer's default set to 'yes' for printing a cover page? I'm really trying to like this printer, help me do so Xerox!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good basic printer aimed at business environments The Xerox B210 is a good, basic printer with features aimed at business environments that sometimes get in the way in the context of a one-person office. Some of the administration is done via a website which requires credentials--overkill for a home office with one printer. Once the printer is setup, one does not need to visit this website and the printer works great with no drama. Although I've not setup a similar consumer grade printer in some time, I think administration for printers aimed more at the consumer/home office are easier to setup. However, I chose this printer because it is backed by Xerox and OEM toner is a more reasonable price. I've had this printer for about six months. Overall, I recommend this printer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The product was hard to configure. The default settings were bad with a cover page for every print job and double sided printing. It was hard to configure. The printer doesn't have a screen so it is hard to diagnose what the problem is when there is a problem. It is a below average desktop office printer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Poor set up This product has an extremely poor setup in my opinion from the manufacturer. It is set up to print a cover page or 'banner sheet' every time you click print. I have been unable to turn it off so when I print something I also get the cover page or 'banner sheet' every single time. I have reams of paper that have been wasted on this not to mention the ink that is being wasted. I have watched YouTube videos on how to turn it off to no avail. Also, it's strictly a black and white printer and does nothing but print. (in black and white) No scanner, no copier.... Really? No Thank You - I would never purchase another Xerox printer. It makes no sense to me why this would even be programmed in this manner in the first place.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Recommended by Dunder Mifflin All kidding aside, this is a quality printer for the money. Crisp, clean text and good print speed. The only knock on the printer is the set up - not very user friendly or intuitive. The software interface is kind of "clunky".

Rated 5 out of 5 by from i returned the product.. it printed when i didnt want it to. i dont need a printed sheet to tell me it is ready and ruin my checks.. I was terribly disappointed because it seemed good quality at reasonable price. the print quality was very nice. I do not like someone wasting my checks because you feel you need to print a page.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Temperamental, fussy and wasteful When it works, this is an adequate piece of equipment. But it only connects to my Mac some of the time, even using a USB cable. And every time it boots up, it prints a configuration page. Not recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does Not Work on Mac OS AirPrint - Works with USB Xerox claimed that this printer, B210, worked with Mac OS AirPrint. It works sometimes. It might print the document correctly, then other times just WingDings and wasting page after page until i pull the plug. I have removed and reinstalled the printer and have not had reliable service. When i print using the USB cable, it works. I contacted Tech Support, and they could not help. I am using the printer in this USB mode, and when the drum needs replacing, I will replace the printer with a HP. I will not buy another Xerox. Xerox should change its advertisement to be more accurate regarding wireless Mac support.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from do not buy this printer every time I attempt to print a banner page is printed wasting tons of paper, but that is hardly the issue. The main is is that I can't get the dumb thing to print on command. I use a MacBook Pro, hook it up directly to my computer and it should print--but it does not. I installed printer drivers--same thing--it does not print. Piece of junk.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Only 800 pages per cartridge It claims to get 1500 pages per cartridge. I got less than 2 reams of paper and it ran out. About 800 sheets. I print engineering drawings. so it shouldn't use much toner. Is my printer defective? Or are the advertised specs misleading? And the help chat says the Serial # on the back of my printer is not valid.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does not work well with MAC I have not been able together this printer to print with my Mac on a regular basis. Sometimes it prints and others it does not. I have combed over forums, tried installing and reinstalling and nothing. Support is not much help with Mac. It just prints when it wants to and is highly frustrating. It prints nicely when i can get it to print.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from B210 Pleasantly surprised by this inexpensive printer. Out of the box and plugged in it was a breeze connecting to WiFi, but what surprised me was the ease my Android phone connected. I bought this for me downstairs and for personal use only and my next Xerox will be a business class 3-1 class laser.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from little help from help desk 2 main issues- 1) My printer always wants to print 2 sided pages and my work does not permit that. I have wasted countless pages having to reprint documents because I cannot change the default settings. 2) i have found it impossible to change the sleep settings on this .it keeps going to sleep and I cannot find a way to change the settings. BTW- I contacted hep desk for both of these items and i was told that since my printer is past its warranty , I had to purchase a service contract before hey would tell me how to fix the problem. Although otherwise a very workable printer, the lack of responsiveness and inability to resolve these problems has left me with a sour taste. Rather than continue to buy toner cartridges and other supplies, I am tempted to just buy a different printer

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent printer for duplex black & white prints I am a graduate student and needed a fast, black & white duplex printer to support my dissertation research and editing. The B210 has outstanding print quality, and since it is a laser printer you can use a highlighter without any black smudging - which I was constantly experiencing with inkjet printers. When the time comes, I will replace my inkjet printer with a Xerox color laser printer for color printing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from this product sucks When I first got it was kind of a pain to get it set up.Once I got it going it was really fast, for 18 pages .After messing with it for awhile I gave up and called support.I was on the phone for just over an hour and the guy hung up on me.To my surprise another guy called me the next day and we were on the phone for 1 hour and 45 minutes and finally got it working. For 18 more pages.I'm not going to spend another minute on the phone with them,I'm going to use it for target practice.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from this printer is a disaster don't even think about getting it and the Xerox service people are terrible and impossible to get to, Leaving you on hold this computer is a disaster. it's impossible to connect to an iMac and even after you think it's connected it disconnects and stops working even after it apparently is working. I wasted thousands of hours of my time with the IT people trying to do this and I'm just throwing it in the trash literally. Because they won't refund my money and I don't want a replacement of the same garbage printer. instead, I bought an HP LaserJet I M209DWE , For less money, which I was able to set up and have fully operable in less than 15 minutes with the assistance of a very polite support person who answered the phone after the first ring!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Last century packaging and not really for iOS users The first thing to notice is that this machine comes packed in non-recyclable plastic foam. Also, the configuration page prints EVERY time you turn on the machine. This is a default setting and, after an hour or so deep diving for how to turn it off, the only thing I can find is that you cannot turn it off on this model. So wasteful. Very last century. Don't be that corporation, Xerox. This is not really a printer for Mac users. I think we are a sidebar. Wifi setup requires an Ethernet cable, which is not included. You can, eventually, find out through the customer forum the procedure to do this. I don't have the cable and haven't tried it so I don't know if the info provided by a fellow consumer is accurate. It is certainly detailed and I appreciate them having take the time to do it since the company did not. That said, the print quality is excellent and the double sided printing feature is a nice option and works well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic bulid for the money Was looking for a budget priced laser printer to replace my Minolta/QMS PageWriter 1250W that still worked great but there were no drivers for Windows 10. I have some experience with the Brother line of ~$100 printers. My mother is on her second one. The first one lasted about 1.5 years and then started printing terribly even with new brother toner and drum. I am the one that maintains her computer/printers. So I knew I didn't want a Brother and I am not a fan of HP. Did a lot of research on the Xerox B210. ~$100 price point, duplex printing, wired network connection were all of the things that I was looking for. I was able to purchase this delivered for sub $100. Installation was a breeze and now I can use it on any of my networked devices. The print quality is super crisp and the print speed is blazing. The build quality is top notch!! If you are looking for an inexpensive, quality built laser printer with an awesome list of features that produces great output quickly, then look no further.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bad out of box Solid red status light - toner bad or not recognized - HP and Lexmark are impossible to get currently; gave Xerox a try - wish I had not. You should almost NEVER get a product that is bad out of box - ... I shudder thinking of even trying to contact Xerox mega-corp - this may just be a throw-away (have 2) plus one more expensive model. Not ready for the enterprise! Medium size firm US East Coast ... I'll wait for Lexmark.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is an Average Printer Unfortunately, there is no way to turn off the first page feature, which wastes so (so, so, so) much paper. Sometimes, our print queue is in limbo for hours and prints at random times, which could be the internet connection if we use cloud print, but this is not always the case as it is occasionally when attempting to print directly from the desktop it is plugged into. We are invested now, we buy ink directly from Xerox, but I wish we could find supplies closer to home in case of last minute needs. This is not the best option, but it'll do for now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Couldn't be happier! This is just the printer I've been searching for. Simple black-and-white with out added functions. I wanted just a printer, without copier or scanner, that could be connected by USB and not wi-fi. Set up was a breeze and the footprint is just right for my extra small work space. The icing on the cake is how quiet it is. Like I said, I couldn't be happier.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Will Not Print after going into A Deep Sleep Overall I have found this to be a pretty good printer. It has one very frustrating problem which is: when it goes into a "deep sleep" it will not come to life when you send a printing job to it. It gives you an error message saying to check connections. After several calls to Xerox techs who could not solve this problem, I have come up with my solution. My solution is to unplug it from the power strip, wait about 10 seconds to plug it back in. Then I need to turn it on using the power switch on the printer and "voila" it is ready to print. I will keep the printer and continue to go through these extra steps to get it to print after going into a deep sleep.
