Rated 5 out of 5 by from Difficult to setup the default features It's difficult to setup the default features, because the printer is printing both faces of a sheet, even I was setup to print one side in all the setting places regarding printing preferences. In the same time time the settings for email copy are hard to be done.

I recently bought two of the Xerox B215 printers for the office, I went with Xerox for the fact that Xerox is known for being the name brand in the workplace and don't get me wrong the Xerox is a great printer for Half of the employees that run Windows Computers but for the other half that run MacOS it is a nightmare. As of Mac Catilina, Xerox stopped supporting their native app on computers for this printer for Mac users. This software which allows the computer to be recognized by the printer for scanning specifically, there are some other features but the scanning is the most important. The Mac users can print but to scan they now need to use the apple scan software which they have to put it on the scanner and walk all the way back to their desk and hit the scan button on the Mac then walk back. Every HP, Brother, Cannon, etc printer I've used has software for this so that the computer can be found directly from the printer. Xerox which I consider the name brand of the workplace doesn't. If I were Xerox I'd be embarrassed and ashamed because Mac has a huge presence in the workplace and Xerox doesn't support it. Xerox needs to work on MacOS support ASAP!!!

The wireless feature is lacking a stable connection, I am not sure if this is because it puts itself in a sleep mode or what, but the wireless is useless. If you do get it connected, once it loses connection it is nearly impossible to get connected again.

Having called the support line twice I can't seem to find anyone that knows how to get rid of the banner page. My wife is a real estate agent and her contracts average 18-20 pages. One evening we ended up with about 30 banner pages. This is a real paper waster.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ideal printer/scanner for my office I bought the B215 to replace my Dell multifunction printer. Both are light to medium duty printers with small footprints, but the Xerox is MUCH faster, quieter and sturdier than the one it replaced. My only complaint is that it is not especially intuitive when it comes to scanning (the actual scanning is easy - it was finding the scan on my desktop to convert to a pdf that threw me off) and other features I haven't ventured into yet. To its credit, it is apparently far more versatile than my old printer, but most of the more obscure features are not ones I generally use. Overall, I'm delighted with the Xerox and would definitely recommend it for any small office application. I have no doubt the features that work differently than I'm used to are things that would be child's play to anyone with technical knowledge. Overall, an A+!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Decent Printer I bought what I thought was a new quality printer and it ended up being an outdated “decent” device. It is not a good printer for the average user. If you do not have a solid IT background, you will struggle to get this device to work for you. When you call support, they will tell you the device is outdated and no longer supported. After they tried to charge me $30 to speak to them. I still cannot get the scanner to connect to my PC, I have to scan to a thumb drive and transfer it to my machine. The scanner quality is sub par, my cheap HP printer/scanner has way better quality. This is by far my worst purchase as far as printers/ all in one devices go. I do not recommend it others. Save your self a lot of frustration and go by something else.

I found it hard to set-up, it prints a cover page even though I went to the site to stop this and it randomly, when I send a document to print, it will print page upon page. I can't figure out how to stop it so I let it run. I WOULD NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. I HAD A BROTHER PRINTER AND AM GOING BACK.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Value Printer works great. The touch screen navigation is a little clunky and so is the scan feature. It doesn't scan all pages into one document. Also, the printer doesn't allow you to remove the ID page. I am the only one using this printer and each thing I print has this page. It's a big waste of paper and ink. I'm using it wireless and sometimes it takes a little longer for the computer to communicate with it to print. Other than that, it's a good little printer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly what I was looking for! When the printer first arrived, I left it in the box for a couple of days, dreading having to set up a new printer. Finally I plugged it in, and right away it located my wireless router and the wireless set up was complete - simple. Next I loaded the Windows 10 drivers on my desktop - easy. And then, without any additional steps, I could print from my iPads and Android phones- fantastic. In addition to printing and copying, the scan feature works perfectly. (I have also tested the fax.) In all I am completely satisfied with all functions. And I especially look forward to never buying another inkjet cartridge, or unclogging ones because I haven’t done enough printing lately.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect B&W MFP Fast both side printing. Very flexible to setup. It will take some time but with the use of CWIS the setup is far easy. As a laser printer you do not have the problems of plug nozzles like in the inkjects. Low price per page. Scanning is excellent and fast both with the ADF and as a flatbed. It is very intuitive if you use flatbed to create multipage documents. The scanning documents can be sent directly to the receiver using the great address book, or back to your computer or to the lan. It has many features I have not touch yet because I do not need them. I wish the tray would have hold a whole package of paper but ...you can not have everything

The ink lasts a long time too, and the printer enables us to save documents as PDFs if we just need to save but not actually print. If you are considering purchasing this printer, we would for sure both give it two thumbs up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid printer Set up screen is a joke. My average size fingers have a very hard time keying in the password. Screen does not show what you are typing. Like walking in the dark. Ink usage is still a question as I am still on the start up cartridge.

I bought the b215 because toner is supposed to last longer. It lasted a lot longer, and the quality and speed are more than the old inkjet I had. I am thrilled with my b215b215.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A VALUABLE PURCHASE This printer is an excellent value. When you need FAST and EFFICIENT, this is the machine to buy. Plus, I have copier, scanner and fax capabilities. Xerox is standing behind my purchase with excellent customer support. The best purchase I could have made for my business. When I evaluated the cost of toner and drum vs. the cost of print cartridges for an ink jet printer, this was the only purchase that made sense. Also, I owned my last printer for about 4 years. When I called for service, I learned the company had discontinued support for the printer, forcing me to purchase another printer. I don't think that will happen with Xerox.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not for the Mac This printer is a nightmare on the Mac. More times than not, it will print pages and pages of garbage. Printing double sided is a nice feature, but that means double sided pages of garbage! I've literally wasted reams of paper trying to print on this and wasted hours installing/updating drivers hoping for a fix. Occasionally I will get a decent print job out of it, and it has been OK as a copier and for scans, but printing successfully is usually a one shot deal. It would be a nice printer if it worked, but it doesn't.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sporadic Function Even though this printer is on the same wireless network as our computers and tablets, we get sporadic printing from it. It often prints out an error sheet. Sometimes it prints pages and pages of jibberish when we print from a Chromebook laptop connected to the machine with a cable. When it does print, it prints with good quality and quickly.

I have nothing wireless in this office and that is required to turn off the banner page or you print 2 pieces of paper with every print job. What a waste of paper and ink. when doing large jobs, the printer overheats and it takes a minimum of 5 times as long to print it as it did on an old inkjet!!! I hate these printers, and I have 3 of them. I will never buy another Xerox.

Only thing I dislike about it is that it always prints a cover page whenever I print something. Its pretty much a waste of paper. I have tried to get rid of the cover page by going to settings but have not been able to. I tried googling how to get rid of it, but no luck. If it didn't print that cover page this product would deserve 5 stars because it's easy to use. I love the quality of the scanner and its velocity isn't bad. I wish if there is a solution for the cover page to get removed, someone could help me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Small Printer With Everything I Need I purchased this printer from Amazon to use at my small business. It was very easy to connect to the wireless network and to the computer. I am not a tech person and had no problems setting it up. The printer quality is very good. I've been using it for two months with no issues. So far I have used the printer, copier and scanner features, I haven't used it as a fax because I use an online fax service to send the scans. By the way the scans are very good quality, they look very clear and are easy to read. The only complain I have about this printer is that it prints a report page before printing whatever document you want to print. It's annoying. I read there is a way to cancel that but so far I haven't dedicated the time to learn how to do it or to call customer support. Other than that I am very happy with it, I do not miss the large, bulky laser printer I had before and I love the small size of this one. It is small but has the features of a large one. It looks good too! It's perfect for my business, and it's a Xerox! what else can I ask for? The only reason I do not give five bars to ease of use is because of the report page that prints out every time. That would be very helpful for offices with several employees to keep track of your printing, but I don't really need that feature. I recommend it to anyone with a small business or even for a home office.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It works. So far so good, I have set up the printer with my mac, they communicate wirelessly and the printer prints. Printing speed is fine, not lightning quick but good. Setup was doable.
