Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Xerox Phaser 3330 is a nice compact laser printer that works great! I purchased this new Xerox Phaser 3330 laser printer and I am very happy with the overall performance. This printer is fast and produces high quality print and as a bonus it can print on both sides fancy term duplex printing. For the price I paid I was very pleased with the additional features and easy of setup and operation. The technical support is very nice and there when you need them. The unit is nice and compact when desk space is at a premium. I would highly recommend this printer to anyone interested in a great quality printer at a nice price. thank you Newsomeworks

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not a satisfied user - The cartridge for this machine is pretty costly and does not last long at all. The machine itself is not very user friendly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Keeps burning the drum The print quality would be great if the drum held up. Biggest mistake was to purchase through Dell. XEROX customer service has date of purchase before I purchased through Dell. Dell sent a replacement DRUM. Burnt holes in that one too. XEROX would not assist me even when the unit was less that 12 months old. Informed me that the printer is likely faulty itself to keep burning the drum. I hardly even used this printer as it was for home use. Now I have either an expensive repair or a pile of trash. Probably the latter. So sad that a company of this size will not even acknowledge that within a year I clearly had a faulty product. This company simply does not care.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great commercial printer at home consumer price Reliable and fast as expected from laser printers. Decided to get this printer after wasting a lot of money on ink printers always clogging when I need them and always when I needed to print documents. Network capabilities on this printer meet the commercial expectation should you need to get this product integrated into your office network. For home use, no more clogs. I have owned this product for over a year and sometimes no prints for couple months and then I may need to print several dozen pages and does so without issue. No more ink prints for me as no matter what brand I've tested, I've always had ink clogging problems.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Terrible on my network, can't stay connected to my PC either This printer is terrible. I had major issues trying to get my office's workstations properly connected and printing the way we want, so I took it as my personal printer connected via USB, and the stupid thing is still searching for the network, requiring me to uninstall and reinstall drivers. Do not waste your time with this printer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from UltraFast I have used my Xerox Phaser 3330 for approximately 1 month in the office. The set-up time was minimal. The machine is ultra-quick delivering page output. The clarity of the text is excellent, as expected. A helpful hint to the purchaser, when printing have the banner page turned off.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Versatility is excellent I like the excellent paper handling, eg, different sizes & weights. I love that it will print 3x5 cards (for notes, present labels & recipes &c). I also like how easily it connected with the wireless network (I can use it wherever I can find wireless). The only drawback is that the paper tray selection (although it works great) is tricky to set up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lousy for different size envelope printing The Phaser 3330 is good for printing double sided paper. It is LOUSY for printing envelopes. The bypass tray (which by design allows one to place different sized papers and envelopes) REQUIRES that one SET the printer's menu to reflect the actual size currently in the bypass tray. Otherwise, the printer REFUSES to print it saying paper size MISMATCH (and there is no button to tell the printer, override and just print it). That means that, if one has different sized envelopes, for each change in envelope sizes, the user has to use the menus to reset the size (every time the size changes). Mind you, it is a BYPASS tray - not a fixed tray, a BYPASS tray. I am at a total loss to understand why XEROX (a company that is known for making printers and is supposed to be experts at making printers) FORCES users to stop what they are doing every time they change envelope sizes and reprogram the size on the menu. <- No, please don't respond by trying to justify why... because it is THAT BAD of a design. Just tell me which xerox home office black and white laser printer does double sided sheets and supports differing envelope sizes WITHOUT having to program the size in the menu.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great office printer Really enjoy this printer with great quality and features like printing on both sides. The toner lasts a long time which is better that the other printers I have bought that did not last very long. I would recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product has great features. While this product has great features it is somewhat more difficult to use than our previous Xerox printer. Maybe we were just so use to the other model that any type of change would not be well received. I must say that it does perform as expected.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from not happy I have never had so much trouble with a printer as I have this one. It worked fine when I fist got it but now it seems to have a mind of it's own. I have had to call our IT people atleast 4 times in the last two months to try and figure out why it isn't working.. It prints only when it feels like it and i have to keep resetting the paper type every time I try to print. Not very pleased with it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This Printer is very fast and has some great features Pros: The printer is lightning fast, you can print nearly 100 pages in around 2 minutes. The Ink doesn't smear, and the cartridges seem to last a long time There is lots of settings for more advanced needs, far beyond what I use for printing out pdf's and word docs Cons: Some trickiness to setting up the printer with your computer, software is a bit weird to find because of how many printers there are. Issues with cover pages are hard to resolve if you don't want a cover page. Sometimes certain softwares just do not work well with the printer but that might not be the printers fault. Warning and error messages are mostly useless, as the problem is usually something very simple as your printing in the wrong paper dimensions or the incorrect tray keeps auto selecting.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Phaser 3330 This machine is a piece of garbage and unfortunately, I purchased two. I bought the copier with the understanding that it had two paper trays. I need two trays since I print documents on two sizes of paper. It does not have two "trays". It has a slot where you can force feed a few sheets of paper at a time. The printer set up was impossible and required that I obtain in-person technical help at an additional fee. Fortunately, I saved the boxes. This garbage is being returned or going into the dumpster. Lesson learned. Lease a machine from a reputable business machine company that can set up the machine and service it, even if it is more expensive.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Special characters The printer has a limited menu of special characters that does not include the equals sign which presented a challenge trying connect to a password-protected WiFi router. Tech support made a valiant effort to try to resolve the issue, but did not come up with a solution. The printer works well with a good quality Ethernet cable between the two devices.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Will always give a Netwrok Error Message if USB connected Our Office has several Xerox 3320 printers. We needed to replace one and had to get the 3330 as the 3320 is no longer available. The printer was to be used as a stand alone, connected via USB cable. The installation was performed as per the Installation Guide. The printer and drivers installed easily, but the Printer Icon showed a warning on a Windows 7 PC. The printer display also shows a warning to connect a network cable. I have disabled all of the network connection setting, as this was to be connected USB only. Technical Support indicates that the error message is normal and will always be displayed until I connect a network cable; no other way to clear it. I believe this is a design flaw or at least a misrepresentation to say this printer can be connected via USB; well it CAN be connected with USB cable, you just have to live with a constant Error Message. We will not purchase another one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Great Black & White Laser Printer This is the 4th Phaser 3330 we have added to our office in the last year. It is fast, it duplexes, and the print quality is great. We use it to print lots of reports that do not need to be printed in color. It is a little workhorse and I would recommend it highly if you are looking for an alternative to expensive color lasers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent but a minor annoyance The Phaser 3330 is an excellent personal laser printer. It replaces an old Dell laser that was starting to fail. It works well but there's one minor annoyance and maybe no one else would be bothered by it, but I am: Every time I send a print job I get an 'out of paper' message because it defaults to the bypass tray instead of the main paper tray, which is full of paper. It eventually pulls the paper from the main tray but why do I have to get that annoying message? I don't want to use the bypass tray UNLESS I really want to use it for special printing requests and then I would select it as my choice. The default should always be the main paper tray. I tried to reset the printer settings but I haven't found the solution. If anyone has a suggestion, please pass it along. Other than that it's an excellent printer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from none The printer is slow to recognize the command to print, constantly says the paper tray is empty when in fact it is not, slow printing and is big and bulky.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Is this really a Xerox Printer? Phaser 3330 = Nothing but trouble. Located in an educational setting in a networked environment. Using Xerox Global Print driver on print server. Either prints Big black oval blotches on papers, 2nd page usually, or prints error messages every other page! Horrible, terrible, lemon of a printer. Never had such negative feelings about a machine. Really turning me off to Xerox products. No help to be found on forums, local help desk etc.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from unreliable printing the quality of the print was great however it also causes a problem with uncompleted printing errors. Our IT person had tried to fix it or reformat the program and start it new again. it had not been a reliable printer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from RELIABLE OFFICE MACHINE We have two of these machines in our office and rely on them daily for the heavy amount of paperwork we need. These printers are prompt and easy to use. Only downfall I've noticed so far is that when the ink cartridge goes out, or runs low you get a warning UNLIKE the drum cartridge. Both of these machines we have in the office showed no warning when the drum cartridges went out and both times, we were down the machines for days while we ordered new drum cartridges. We just have no room to store additional cartridges in our office, or else we could order ahead of time.
