New Xerox 8135 from

Delivery & installation process was a debacle. Any information given to me by my reps turned out to be misleading and downright wrong. After working for 3 weeks, it is now down & requires new parts which evidently are difficult to find. This brand new copier has been used for approx. 3 weeks and has now been down for 3 days. This is very unacceptable.

Really? Pay $3,000 for a Copier that doesnt SCAN?
Off to another brand that does not promote its amazing scanning capability when it has Zip for scanning capability. Note that none of their documents flag the point that this is not a full business performance copier. Nice expensive Boat Anchor

Average Printer Prone to Breakdowns
We have had this printer now for a few years this Printer is pretty average but it breaks down and starts leaving streaks on everything, this is where the real nightmare begins trying to service this machine is like being stuck in an elevator music purgatory. I can't seem to find a helpful department I just get put on hold only to be told I'm not in the right department. I finally get a specialist scheduled only to find out this wasn't scheduled, even though my card shows you have a pending order. Honestly, it should not be this hard to get someone to come down and fix this!

Wow!
We are a small business that prints A TON of tabloid booklets and full color adhesive labels. Years ago, we decided on Ricoh for our main printer. Their toner was far cheaper. The machines were probably about the same right? How different could they be? It’s just a printer. Our old Ricoh broke down. We couldn’t find anybody to do service on it. Looks like they are out of business now. ?? It was pretty old, so time to just buy a new printer right? We got the Xerox C8000. Wow!!! What a difference. This thing is amazing! I can’t overstate the value built into this thing. Such a pleasure to use. A very well thought out User Interface / experience with the driver and controls. Everything is easy to find and where you would expect it to be. 10x easier to use than our old Ricoh. I’m realizing now how much time we wasted everyday fighting with the fussy and awkward to use Ricoh. The print quality is 10 times better also. Beautiful and amazing prints. The paper feeds consistently with dead on precision in the alignment on the page. That is very important when you’re trying to print stickers with very low tolerance for bleed. This new Xerox is dead on EVERY time. I can imagine a better tool for the job. I’m a Xerox fan for life now! You guys rock! My only complaint is the toner price. Seriously? Common guys. To be fair, Xerox isn’t any worse than the rest of the industry. I’m surprised the Mexican Cartels haven’t gotten into the printer ink and toner markets yet.

Connections are HARD
We are not able to use all the features, because the person that se the entire system up is no longer with us and we have no idea how to get ahold of rep for any support. I know this machine could be beneficial for what we could use it for, but at this point we have no idea how. PLEASE have someone contact us to see what we can do to get some support.

Can't print black and white only
If you color cartridges are empty you are not allowed to print only black and white. I have tried all the resolutions and I still get the error cyan in empty. Very expensive to not be able to support this when I run out of color ink.

I am pretty disapointed with this project, average at best.
There is no concession in the operation of the unit. Half the time it doesn't recognize the size of the paper being inputted.

Amazing Color Quality
We've had this printer almost a year. The output is amazing. It does have a frustrating issue that we haven't been able to get fixed. You have to hit print on the machine after you send a print job to it. We've never had this on our other Xerox machines. We've had it looked at, but no solution. We've had xerox machines for 22 years.

Great and reliable network printer with broad functionalities
We upgraded from a competitive product and are most pleased with the print quality, print speed and versatility of functions this printer offers. We use it as a networked office printer and it has heavy print loads and scan usage. In the approx 6 mos time, it has only need a single minor adjustment. The software is readily setup on user computers by our IT person. We often print presentation materials and the image quality is top rate as is the color reproductions. We are most pleased.

Best printer I have ever used in business or at home.
I have used dozens of printers at work in the government and private sector as well as having purchased dozens printers for home use over the past thirty five years. This Xerox C8000 is positively in a separate league. The quality of the printing from this system, irrespective of the paper used is absolutely beyond compare. I cannot possibly provide a strong enough recommendation to purchase this printing system.

Works, with a lot of complicated setup and maintenance, mostly.
This printer has given us more capability compared to our previous office printer. We changed because Xerox bought out the company we were contracted with. Software has been extremely difficult for most staff to use, and so only one or two people have managed to really utilize the printer. Some functions like the metered toner are great when they work.

Very pleased!
Followed the instruction on how to take the printer out of the box as it’s very heavy and how to set it up. It’s connected to Ethernet and WIFI. Super easy to connect to within the network from all devices (computers and phones). The prints and colors are great quality.

Best Printer We've Ever Had
Fantastic user interface. It works just they way we need it. Everything in the driver is where you'd expect. Very intuitive. Beautiful prints!!!! Holy cow. We didn't realize how terrible our Ricoh printer was in quality until we saw what this turns out. We can't recommend it enough! Our only complaint is the cost of the toner. :( Seriously guys? To be fair, Xerox isn't any worse than the rest of them but common!

So Easy To Set Up!
Recently purchased the Versalink 8000 to replace our aging (2007) Phaser 7760. We loved that printer and needed a replacement as close to it as possible. The Versalink 8000 was THE printer. Same footprint, same color quality, better speed, better paper feed, and all so very easy to set up. Basically, a "plug and play" machine! Just added the printer to our printer list in the system preferences and we were back in business. It's as if the 7760 never gave up the ghost. All at a great price for the excellent paper and color capabilities. Thanks Xerox!

Great for Graphic Designers
This was a great replacement for a 10+ year old Xerox Phaser 7750DN. We chose it for the laser color quality we are accustomed to and for the large 12 x 18 print size capability. We like that this model allows us to use the 12 x 18 paper in a second drawer that was included, as opposed to a bypass tray. We have had it for a couple weeks and have yet to use all features, but so far are very happy with the quality, speed, and similar printing to our previous model.

Speed Machine
We print a lot of plan sheets in our Engineering Department and needed a printer that could punch out 11x17 and 12x18 half size plan sets out. This machine makes our office a mini printing press. We love it. Love the walk up features and the ease of use with the Windows 10 Xerox printing app.
