Nice and bright, great features
Very bright projector, and haven't noticed any excess fan noise compared to our other projectors. Many controls to adjust image color and projection onto angled surfaces. Can't comment on the built-on speaker, but what would you expect from a tiny 2" speaker anyways. Many input ports to choose from. Wireless projection is on-par with other manufacturers, just don't expect smooth video, but it's great for power point.

Exceptional versitility
Purchased for use in an auditorium with significant ambient light issues from windows and lighting. Able to overcome these issues easily.
Thorough controls through setup menus to focus, adjust to brightness and contrast, keystoning in both planes. Also, readily programmable to both source of image and format size to project.
Only point of concern is to be sure that mount and power source are grounded as unit is sensitive to static discharge. It does automatically reset but leaves you blank for 15-20 seconds.

Fan is very noisy even in Eco mode and wireless casting doesn't stream video very well.
The Optoma EH465 has a noisy fan even in Eco mode and thus the projector is not good for smaller rooms of 20 to 50 people. The wireless casting is a good idea, however, the picture quality is poor and video "lags" and is splotchy both in low and high-quality modes. Wireless casting only supports mirroring, you cannot extend your monitor so it isn't very useful for slide presentation where you want to view your notes on your laptop screen and then cast your slides to the presentation screen. No one really should expect much from a speaker built into a projector and thus if you don't expect much, you won't be disappointed. For everyone else, the speaker is tinny with poor dynamic range. As expensive as this projector is, it is pretty disappointing.
