Rated 5 out of 5 byMike from I would recommend for any laptop with a dispay portIt allows me to use a large flat panel monitor to watch movies stored on my laptop when traveling. Many laptops no longer have a HDMI or VGA output. Mine like many now only have a display port. This is a simple and cheap means to achieve a bridge to HDMI. The item is so small and affordable, that I intend to order another just in case I forget to pack it.

Rated 5 out of 5 byScout from Display port but no HDMI port?Here is the simple solution, a short cable with the requisite connections. The male display port plug has latching teeth so it won't wiggle loose.
