My new Epson Workforce WF-2850 out of the box will not read these 212 cartridges says ink level to low to set up..................

Don't buy!
Ink only lasts two weeks with light usage. Printer won't work unless new cartridges are installed. Ink is a rip off. Expensive. Difficult to install to all wireless devices. I wouldn't recommend unless you have money to waste.

Ink cartridge use.
The ink does not last long. I copied about not even 75 copies and the cartridge had to be replaced. Since I have had the copy I have replaced the cartridges three times. Good thing...the cartridge are easily accessible to buy.

Cartridges arrive nearly empty
The cartridges for the Epson WF 2850 arrive almost empty. I have been using Epson printers for at least 10 years with no problems. I am shocked that the WF 2850 is programmed to accept these nearly empty cartridges as full, thereby forcing you to keep buying cartridges. I will never buy an Epson printer again.

Genuine Epson
Genuine Epson ink is the best for an Epson printer. Like all ink though, the stuff is still more expensive than liquid gold. These ink tanks have a chip installed. So off-brand will probably not work anyway

Excellent value and quality.
Best ink overall. You can buy cheaper, home made or refill kits but by experience I tell it’s not worth the tima for very poor quality.
