Very good product and at a good price
Plastic is strong, I've had it for 2 years now. Simple to assemble. Very comfortable. If you don't require more than 2 configuration positions this product is for you. It has definitely helped with my position, especially now during lockdown and having to work from home.

It helps for bad feet
I have plantar fascitus and this helps stretch my feet and prevent them from cramping. It rocks and that can be soothing.

Breaks Easily
I thought this foot rest would be the answer to my prayers since my feet do not reach the floor at work. I bought this and placed it under my desk since I am quite petite and it strains my back to type all day with my feet dangling. I have a sedentary job. I love the height and feel of the product but the plastic piece that acts as a hinge to allow the foot rest to tilt/rock, broke within a few months of use. I weigh under 130 lbs and have not kicked it so this plastic piece that holds the hinge part together is obviously too cheap & breaks way too easily. The good news is that even though I can no longer tilt/rock the foot rest, like it's supposed to, I am still able to get some use out it. I can still lay my feet on it however it falls apart if I move the slightest bit without those plastic pieces. It also could use some rubber grips on the bottom to keep it from sliding around on the floor, whenever you do tilt/rock your feet.

2 attempts but still breaking
As others have said Design Flaw here. I'm a small lady yet I have had 2 of these footrests break within one month! The small plastic bit holding the rester to the base is not strong enough to withstand against expected use.

Huge help
I have back problems and this has reduced my pain by forcing me to sit back in my chair. I'd recommend it.

Design Flaw
Like some other reviewers have mentioned there is a huge design flaw with the way the foot rest hooks into the base. I received the footrest as a gift for Christmas and after 3 months of use the plastic tab that keeps the footrest in the groove of the base snapped.

Broken within a few months
My department purchased this footstool to help prevent further back pain. In the beginning it served its purpose and worked well. After less than a month one of the tabs broke so that the foot rest would not remain on the high setting I needed. I continued to use it with mild irritation. Now after less than a year the other side is broken and the foot rest is essentially useless. I would not recommend this product to anyone and will be passing on my disappointment to the health and safety department so they reconsider who they purchase foot rests from in the future.

Cheap - not happy
Got this for work and it the tabs that holds it in place broke within 1 m of the purchase. I remember when the 1st tab broke off it kept sqeaking, Then the 2nd one broke shortly after. It looked cheap to begin with, it really should come as 1 piece as they often came apart. Obviously when it was functional, it works well, but that was a short time.

Do not spend your money on this item
2 footrests broken in the last 7 months. As others have said Design Flaw here. Staples replaced the first one under warranty after 3 months and half. 3 months later the second broke at the same place. Do not buy this.

foot rest brings comfort
I purchased this footrest a few days ago and I am very happy with the results. I especially like two things 1) the swinging and 2) the bumped upper surface. I use it at home, no shoes on, and the bumps actually provide me with an easy massage. I think that this footrest should be a little heavier so that it would not move as easy.

2 Have Broken in 1 yr!!
This foot rest has a HUGE flaw! I have broken 2 in the last year. The little tabs that hook on the base and allow for positioning a very weak. I am a small woman and am not excessively strong and only work part time so it's not over use!

Thumbs up
Definitely gives you the angle needed with your legs to give your back more support. It helps to keep you in the correct position in your chair.

Great Value - Great Price
I purchased this footrest for my desk at work because my legs never felt comfortable, especially since I'm short and have a hard time reaching the ground. This footrest instantly took the pressure off my lower back and helped my legs feel more comfortable. I used to have to sit semi-crossed legged with one leg up on my chair which was not good for my back pain, but now my feet are comfortable. This footrest is worth the price.

Second Chance Failed
This is the second footstool I've purchased from this brand over the years, and both times, the swivel mechanism has broken, rendering the stool unusable. Additionally, the store has refused reimbursement on both occasions. The design and engineering of this product clearly need improvement, and enhanced quality control should be integrated into the production process to ensure durability.
