Good prints, expensive toner
HP printers are pretty good. Basically satisfied with the print quality. However, the business model of selling hardware for lower cost and then selling toner for high prices is disingenuous at best.
My first HP printer in grad school (c. 1996) was an absolute work horse, with toner cartridges that lasted for thousands of pages. The printer chugged along for nearly 20 years - efficient and reasonably priced. I only stopped using it because driver support was discontinued. There have been NO printers matching this superior level since.
Gouging customers through toner purchases so frequently doesn't endear HP to its customers.

I was very unhappy with how long it took to receive the ink cartridges. I ended up having to go buy ink at the store to because it took so long and then shipping info was wrong.

Make sure you get the correct toner. When I first bought it a year ago they sent 2 incorrect toners and I didn’t notice until a month ago so they wouldn’t let me return it because it was past the return date so I had to buy two more toners. $168 down the drain

Poor Service
FedEx lost my package and wont replace it. So i paid 200+ dollars for HP genuine products that never arrived because they cheaped out on shipping. Feel free to contact me if you care at all to make this right. I have all the case numbers from FedEx and order numbers from HP

Very late arrival , no explanation crappie service
Product good shipping very bad. 3 to 5 days was easily exceeded over 10 days. DHL don’t use them unless you have no alternative thank goodness I don’t have a business that needed toner. I will consider other suppliers

Replacing Magenta cartridge
We needed to replace all the cartridge colors, waited for Magenta since there was a backorder issue, then finally received Magenta and installed. The black cartridge still said there was an issue with the ! sign shown on the screen. We ordered another cartridge and tried calling technical support, who are contractors for HP. Anyway, long story short, we had to go back to Costco, return that printer and purchase another one. Only had this printer for 5 months and hadn't been able to print in over 3 months, so eliminated further aggravation and now starting over with a new printer. Hopefully, we won't run into the same issue when we have to reorder new cartridges.

No better than the knock off
I had previously purchased knock off brand toners on Amazon trying to save money. When they only worked for 2 days all three times i tried it, i gave up and decided to go name brand, sure i was going to receive a premium product. I spent over 350$ to refill all the toner in my hp printer and i still get shotty, faded, barely there color. Extremely disappointing. The only reason i gave them 2 stars was because they came with the chip already installed. On the knock off i had to install those on my own.

HP restraint of trade stinks
HP charges outrageous prices for cartridges. I used to use compatible cartridges from competitors which were half the price and worked well. HP introduced software which blocks use of non HP cartridges. I replaced the magenta cartridge a couple of months ago but when it started to leak I was forced to replace it with a new HP replacement. What a ripoff
