Too little toner in cartridge
I have been buying toner cartridges for HP Laser Printers for more than 20 years - when they held a good amount of toner but at least you felt like you were getting some value for you buck but todays cartridges are so small they hold very little toner but the price keeps going up. The bang to buck ratio is sorely out of balance and forcing me seek the alternative knockoffs.

Quality is great. I've bought knock offs in the past and they are low quality (bad fit, cheaply constructed, less uses. Big mistake. My only complaint is the price. Keeps climbing higher and higher.

Replaced toner cartridge purchased < 3 months ago
I had to purchase a new toner cartridge for my HP printer, less than 3 months after purchasing another one - the printer is a piece of junk. HP makes terrible products. The whole thing is a complete ripoff. I am extremely irritated and wish I never purchased an HP product. The total number of pages printed with the previous cartridge was 164. Lovely.

Lasts me about four months. Use it only for personal use, and a few volunteer projects. Seems to be easier to handle than the original models. None of the black powder falls out anymore.

Remaining Life Indicators Pessimistic
Good quality and fair price. I would like it if the “pages remaining” estimation were more accurate. I typically can print at least 50 pages once the “toner low” dialog box starts appearing, and at least another 30 after the “toner very low” warning. Seems a bit Chicken Little-ish to me.

I had a serious paper jam in my HP Laser jet Pro M227. Printer Display and App "manage your device" kept telling me to remove the Laser Cartridge and clear jam from the top. But, I could not grab enough of the paper to free it.
When I went to the tech support chat I learned about the door on the back of the printer.
That was not obvious but it allowed me to clear the jam. Also this saved me a trip of
lugging my printer to the computer store . Thank you !!

Does not print 1600 pages at all!
This toner is printing around 200 pages, not 1600. The reviews are all coincident. This is not a lemon, this is systematic." First install date 2019-4-11, last used 2019-7-15, pages printed with this supply: 68, Approximate pages remaining: 100". This is what the HP utility tells me. Printer is a Laser jet Pro M203dw. I have changed the toner to 2 (least usage is 1), and use only fastres 1200. I am very very disappointed. Still remember my Laserjet from 1995 that used to print endlessly.

HP, I really need your help
When I bought an HP 30X High Yield Black Original LaserJet Toner Cartridge in 2022, my printer began not printing the upper righthand portion of any page. I assumed this was due to the cartridge, and I was too cheap to buy another because your stuff is so expensive. So that cartridge is finally running dry and I bought a new one this month. Turns out the printing issue remains, so I know it's not the cartridge. Would appreciate your contacting me to solve this issue. I've tried to contact you in the past about this but online always leads to a dead end or other inappropriate canned resolution.

I am very happy with my printer's performance. I do like the two sided printing feature (saves paper).
The results are not in as to ink usage. The ink cartridge that came in the printer only lasted for 125 to 150 prints. The replacement cartridge claims to last for 1600 impressions. I am keeping track as to how many copies I will get from this cartridge. To date, I am showing 60 prints after 8 weeks of use. Hopefully this ink cartridge will preform as advertised. If not, you will be hearing from me. I am holding off on addressing the questions that you have below for further consideration. I now see that you will not let my send this until I answer all questions so I will check required selections as negative.

30A Toner Cartridges Do Not Last Long
I replaced a Canon machine with a HP. I am very pleased with the HP machine but my complaint is with the 30A Cartridge. The Canon cartridge (which admittedly was approximately $20 more per cartridge) would last me a good 2+ months. The first 30A Catridge Replacement I noticed did not last but a few weeks and I was hoping that was just a defective cartridge. I purposely put a note on my machine stating that I replaced the cartridge on 3/28/19. Today is 4/18/19 and I am receiving a low toner alert. From my calculations, the Canon Catridge was costing me @ $10/week whereas the HP 30A is costing me close to $17/week. That is a $364/year difference in cost. A future buyer of a machine that takes the 30A cartridge should keep that in mind.

Have use HP laser printers for decades for home office use. Very reliable quality printers. Have always used HP toner Cartridges, This printer seem to go through the toner much quicker than usal. Not sure why, I do not think my usage went up that much.

Easy to replace, but
Did not realize until we bought this printer that ink cartridges AND printer drum might need replacement. We had only needed to replace ink in years past. When our printer indicated that it needed ink replacement, we accidentally ordered a new printer drum not noticing that these were two different items. The printer still needed ink! So then we ordered the ink cartridge and, now we have an extra printer drum which apparently lasts quite a while. Happy so far with the new ink cartridge.

Ordered 30 A. Installed. Still got low toner message and bad print copy. Out of necessity, ordered new cartridge. Did not install yet. Out of town until 12.14. Will install then and let you know. Would appreciate if someone would get back. Would appreciate even more a credit for cartridge I ordered in November.
