Defective Cartridge
I had two of my cartridges go out on me. They started with streaks across my prints, then they would spill the toner all over the inside of my printer. Called in tech support thinking there was something wrong with my printer. When they came out and told me the cartridges are defective and I need new ones, I was pretty upset since they were still more than half full. I'm not about to spend $400 on more defective cartridges. I recommend finding better quality toner from another company because there will not get you the quality you think.

broke before 10 % used
To be fair, my original magenta toner that came with the $1000 printer broke before 10% used. It kept spitting out toner inside of the printer and streaking my pages red. Perhaps due to the new "agitator" they use now inside the toner. HP support told me to call a service tech. (I'm an electronics engineer). Sadly, after purchasing the new $200+ red toner, the blue is now streaking my papers. I love my 10 year old HP black laser printer. Keeps on working. But this new color one? I've been tempted to beat it with a hammer!

Love great hp quality
From informed and updated shipping, perfect packaging, easy return of empty cartridges (instead of it becoming waste) and high quality color, love and admire the mindfulness of hp in design and execution. Bravo!!

Refills are good
The cost might be high, but the quality and amount of use outweigh it. Easily get 8500 sheets printed; often times more out of the colored cartridges; we print color every day for our graphics business and am always happy with how the HP looks.
