I bought the wrong printer
The cartridges are fint, but when I bought my printer, I unfortunately bought the wrong printer for me. I was used to a high capacity printer, and thinking I wouldn't need this any longer I bought a cheaper printer (but a good one). I am now involved in activities where I do need the larger printer. The cartridges work well, the pricing is competitive--just not meet my needs>

Great Options!
As a college student I go through a lot of ink. I seem to go through the cyan the quickest. The black I've always bought the XL cartridge and now I'm excited I can get cyan in the XL. This will help me out a ton and save me some money cause I wont have to buy the multi packs to get one color. I also love that they send you a bag to recycle your old cartridges.

Bum Cartridge
This is the 2nd cartridge I've purchased in about a year that wouldn't work properly. The previous was black and this is cyan. It presented an 'out of ink' printing. I could remove it, banged it on the table, and it would print properly then act as if were out of ink. I can't get anyone on the phone due to lack of personnel due to covid. I'll just order a new one shortly.
I have to say that I've brought thousands of cartridges, computers and accessories over the last 25 years and this is my first bad experience.

This printer (office jet pro 6978) is almost always not printing cyan.
It has been this way since approximately six months after installation.
Run head clean two or three times and it used to work for a few weeks.
since that it needs multiple cleans to get any cyan printing by this time a brand new cartridge shows about 50 % left.
Recently it doesn't print cyan at all. Well possibly two or three lines.
This is disgusting.
The money I spend on cartridges trying to get this thing to work is more than the printer cost.
In my past life one of my departments was drafting, they were using high end plotters and large format printers from HP.
The plotters worked generally well but the printers continually had print head issues.
Now I pay for it not the company
Time to go else where.
The printer is great except this one problem which appears to be very common.

Hp replaced a defective cyan cartridge. Even though they acknowledged a problem with the 902 cyan, the one they sent me was defective too. Think knowing of the issue would of qc'd the cartridge before sending it out.

Very frustrated in not being able to find ink Anywhere for my small printer. I rely on it for my work. I had to go to three separate stores to buy one ink replacement cartridge each and had to keep checking online for well over six weeks before being able to order the last color cartridge. Delay apparently due to Covid. It felt like my small printer wasn't important. It's all good, just was maddening.

Really bad, is that there is no competition - I don't understand why the Monopolies Commission doesn't get involved - there is NO competition - (Could it be political donations?)

The ink from HP is delivered quickly. Only issue is how often we have to order it as it is expensive. The bad ink that was in the stores had issues that really messed up our printer and printing but the last two orders directly from HP seem to have solved the issues we had.

Didn’t fit first time I ordered I ordered by the model of the printer you sent me an ink cartridge it wasn’t even the same style I reorder it by the printer model and I gave the number off of the old cartridge and when I got it it did not fit the round extension where the ink comes out was not the right size to fit my printer so as far as I’m concerned you’re in a program sucks

Worst HP cartridges I have ever purchased
These cartridges are the worst I have ever gotten. Yes I aligned my printer and cleaned the heads twice all three stages and still it is printing with lines. For such an expensive cartridge it sure doesn't work great. Maybe the quality of what I print for my daycare and my daycare families is not important to you but it is to me.

Previously, I purchased defective cyan ink cartridges from HP and I received new ink cartridges to replace the defective ones. As a teacher, I use HP nk in many ways, but sometines color is needed to illustrate snd reinforce certain essential bits and pieces of information that my students need to learn. In the last 25 years I have only had one cartridge that would not work and because I had it past the date on the cartridge HP would not do anything about it. The performance of these ink cartridges are the best I have found.

Great Ink but Problems with Printer
No problems with this ink except that in this case it is used in a OfficeJet Pro 6978 printer. The printer is the real problem. Overall, it works great except when it comes to printing images (photos or clipart) that are not in jpeg format. I never had this issue with any previous HP printer and do not understand why I have to convert every single image to jpeg (and sometimes that's not possible). The image will look like it is cropped perfectly on my computer but it will not print as cropped. Took me a lot of time to even figure out what was going on. So, if you like to print photos and clipart like I do, find another printer (and therefore, a different ink).

Defective Cartridges
I opened this cartridge very carefully and it sprayed ink all over my hands and the floor. I had to dump this cartridge. This is not the first cartridge that this has happened with. I have disposed of the printer and will never buy another HP printer again!

I bought a series of cartridges for my printer. I bought the XL because the original ones went out fast. I do print a lot but they were out in no time. I don't particularly care for the cartridge installation - the carrier you install them in. Seems less sturdy then prior printers.

Not Genuine HP Cartridge
I received a cartridge and installed it. But the printer will not print - because it thinks the HP 902 CYAN ink cartridge I installed is NOT a genuine HP cartridge. VERY frustrating. I had the same thing happen when I purchased a set of three HP 902 color ink cartridges from another . The CYAN cartridge generates an error message that the "installed cartridge is not a genuine HP cartridge. I thought ordering directly from HP would resolve the problem. Not so. And I can find no way to return these cartridges - which are not cheap. I can still print in Black & White - but Christmas letters in color - NO!

Prior to making this purchase, I had bought color ink for my printer. Color ink was rarely used. However, I was not able to print just black and white documents without purchasing a colored ink cartridge. Cyan was low. Apparently it needed to be replaced before I could print a black and white document. Is colored ink truly being used to print a black and white document? If yes, why? What a waste!

Save Money buy Generic cartridges
I have been using the Generic ink cartridges and ran out so I purchased the HP brand ink cartridges. The price was utterly ridiculous but I had a project due and spent the extra $100 for replacements. There was no difference in the quality and probably the quantity of pages. Save yourself lots of cash and buy the Generics. Or buy another brand of printer that has refillable cartridges.

I have had 2 HP printers for a number of years and have never had a problem with the ink, until now. I am having difficulty finding printer ink in my area stores so I decided to purchase XL Cyan color ink directly from HP. When I installed the cartridge, it did not work. I am happy that HP accepted the return.
My disappointment lies with the lack of information or explanation for the decreased access to HP printer ink. As an education administrator working remotely, I need to print, sign and return documents. Without a working printer my job is more difficult. If this is not rectified, I will need to purchase another printer but not an HP.

Cartridge problems
This is the 2nd try at replacing the cartridge. The first one did not work, and neither did the 2cd. I also initially had trouble with yellow and black cartridge, but they finally worked. I suspect it is a printer problem rather than a cartridge. One other problem I wish to mention, is the 902 cartridges themselves, they are terrible to open. I usually have to use a pair of pliers to break off the orange ink cover. Because of these problems, I will not purchase another HP printer, ever.

This is the third round of these cartridges (blue and magenta) that we have purchased in the last week and every one has leaked as soon as we take off the plastic strip - never mind the hard orange plastic that covers the opening. My HP Office Jet , has a Virus and i was told that it will not be Fixed. I bought all new ink from HP only to have them tell me ,they will not give me a Refund. Others have said they Ran a Download Last April and since then , the printer would not Recongnize the HP Cartridges. So the guy on the phone tried to sell me a new printer. Hard for me to review this product honestly.
Bought all colors for my HP6960 All In One. The Black is works just fine. The Cyan, Yellow, and Magenta do not work. Tried cleaning the heads , and taking the cartridges out placing them back in again, but they still didn't work. Don't know what is at fault - the cartridges or the printer. In any event, I can't print out any colored graphic.

High Yield Cyan Original Ink Cartridge
Purchased the cartridge at the end of December. Arrived a week ago. Replace the used up cartridge. Indicated that cartridge installed correctly. Has not worked. Tried aligning the cartridges and cleaning the cartridge heads. Test page red block and yellow square look okay but cyan block is an orange color. First time I have had a problem with the cartridges. Would like a contact from customer service.

Overpriced and no discounts and promo codes. Price fixing at retail stores and online,
Overpriced for quantity received and HP offers no discounts or promo codes to offset cost. Even though I purchased HP printer and own printer, HP is always watching every move. HP locks out competitor ink manufacturers by restricting to only HP cartridges because when I purchase General Motors automobile, I can use any gasoline, air filters or oil brands just so it meets manufacturers requirements. HP should be up front with cost and sell printers at real cost and the reduce ink price instead of trying to fool purchaser with low priced printer.

cyan does not print
This is the second cyan cartridge I have tried and the cyan still does not print. Would like credit or advice on fixing the problem. Tried cleaning printhead and still not printing the cyan color

Although a little more expensive than it should be, this quality ink cartridge was delivered in a timely fashion and put in stock for use when needed. The best ink cartridge for this application.

went to use after buying all the colors. All worked great but the Cyan. I didn't need to use the printer for a couple of weeks after the purchase. Won't ever make that mistake again. No after buying defective ink from HP. Would I ever recommend buying this product to anyone else. Bought the regular size for years and never had a problem. Last time I ever buy the XL size ever again. Buyer beware

I'm very unhappy with my HP printer. Everything printed pink. Even with tech support, it didn't help. I bought a new printer and no longer need cartridges with HP InstankInk. I bought a different brand of printer and so far, it seems to be much better.

Good product, Slow shipping time.
Previously with orders directly from HP was given a discount. This has been discontinued. Ink is very good, but for home owner use instant ink is not practical in my case.

Faulty Ink Cartridge
So disappointed to have received this cartridge which appears to be full, but will not print in my printer. This ink is nearly impossible to find in stores after the recall, would have liked to have been able to use it.
