Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does not work with iPhone compatible headsetsUnfortunately there is no universal standard for which pin handles what in 3.5mm audio-cables. Different manufacturers use different pins for mic/line-out. This product is another one of my failed attempts to find an adapter suitable for my iPhone compatible headset. Not a faulty product per sey, I'm sure it works fine with other types of headsets (most Samsung compatible ones...)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WorksWorks if you know what your doing.Works with PS4 compliant headsets.Microphone channel does not work with headsets that have volume buttons, but stereo(left, right) channels work fine. This does not bother me as I don't intend to use this for that.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked like butterOk, I bought one of those throat mic's that has the funky 3 ringed 3.5mm plug and just wanted to split that out to separate headphone/mic for my Windows computer to deal with. It worked perfectly as soon as I plugged it in and my life is just a little bit better for it....

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works well once you sort out connectorsThe product works well once you sort out what goes where. Unfortunately, the two male connectors are indistinguishable from each other when in fact one is wired for Audio Out and the other for Mic. You just have to try it to see if it works; if it doesn't, swap them and it should. Fortunately, it's low voltage stuff, and in my case didn't seem to do any damage when I wired it wrong.Suggestion: colour code the male connectors as per the audio standard (green for audio, pink for mic). Or, make the mic connector a two conductor mono connector, as I'm sure it actually is internally. Either one would allow the correct cabling to be sussed out.
