Great for Kiosk mode!
Great lockable tablet stand for iPad and it is mountable as well.
You can use this in restaurants for ordering or in stores to find products (an automotive stove could use this to find particular filters required, etc.).
This is definitely a quality product and I would recommend to anyone dealing with customers and / or the public.

Great 9.7 iPad Kiosk Style Stand (lockable)
This is a most excellent product. It main usage could be as a survey device and a customer input tool. The case will hold a 9.7" iPAD - right up to an iPad Pro. It includes different "spacers" for the various thickness of each 9.7" iPad type. It is secure as it is lockable, main of metal and can sit free stand on a desk, bolted to a desk or other stand type (pole, etc) or mounted to a walk. Gathering and usage of data would be main usage.
In my tests I have used it as a free stand on a desk to supplement current mac setup. Works as intended according to the included manual. It is quite heavy and you would damage any iPAD trying to remove it from this holder / stand.
A couple of minor items that I did not have a good time with where the "spacers" where not labelled on the back (the sticker removal side). Although the sizes are measure, you would need to measure them for sure. Simple labelling might have been easier. With that out of the way, it was fairly easy and quite to assemble. The locking mechanism is easy to use and problem free. You have to thread the iPad power cable thru the holder / stand before you close the front and lock it as there are no holes to run cable thru. The only other issues is there is no way to activate any of the iPad buttons except the screen, which is the only visible part of the iPad, so you would need to have a bluetooth device (mouse, keyboard) to activate the device and also to have the screen not time out or blank out. Small issue but there are simple workarounds.
If you have a 9.7" and want to make use of it in a Kiosk, survey or data capture mode, this would be an ideal product for you. It will keep your iPad (and your data) safe and secure.
