Rated 5 out of 5 by from Affordable solution but needs improvement For the most part this device works as advertised however I had to return the 15 I ordered for our school. 1) We had rubber cases on our 2017 iPads and the plastic cover of the box had to be forced down for it to stay down and slide in to be able to lock the case. After a day of sitting like that one of the plastic hooks just popped because of the pressure. 2) From the picture there isnt any indication that the top part doesnt attach to the bottom part of the case where the cables run. If you lift the top all the case without grabbing the bottom case the top comes apart exposing the cables, and if they are plugged in the cables come with it and then they get jammed between the top case and the bottom case. Also if you plan to use this as a mobile case, its easy for the top and bottom part of the case to separate. This would definitely end up with broken cables, ports, tablets. If this case is meant to be stationary I think this would be a good option but if you plan on putting cases on your ipads or moving the cases around as a mobile cart, youll need to find a different cart.
