This allowed us to keep fans, lights and tools working int he remote Utah desert for hours, and quickly recharged the battery bank when power was available. Make sure to install a fuse or breaker on the 12v side to prevent damaging your batteries, or make sure to get high current (deep cycle) batteries. If you plan on travelling with the system, make sure to install a switch on the 12v side to prevent slight drain from the inverter. Inverter did everything we needed and worked well in a hot and dusty environment

One is on the aquarium. it provides power to the pump, filter and heater. Without it, a long outage could mean death to your fish. When power is restored, it automatically switches and recharges the battery. The other is on a terrarium, keeping the tortoise warm when needed. If you look around your home, you will discover many items you need to keep powered up in an outage. I highly recommend these.

The included plugs made installation a breeze. I like the LED's that give load and battery state of charge indication. It has performed exactly as it was presented by Tripplite. I will use these again in the future for our other buildings.
