Tripp Lite HDMI Over Cat5/6 Active Video Extender Kit Transmitter Receiver is rated4.00 out of5 by4.
Rated 5 out of 5 byJohn M from True plug 'n play with iMac when others didn't workWe tried 3 other brands of HDMI Extenders using a thunderbolt to HDMI adapter off the back of our iMac. None of them worked and constantly gave a check source display (it recognized something was there, but didn't have any picture). Talked with a friend who had used Tripp Lite for same type of application and we were not disappointed. Plugged it in and it worked right away! No finagling needed. Would definitely buy again.

Rated 5 out of 5 byGJA1 from WARNING! Requires an UNBROKEN CAT5 run, no patch cords/portsTripp Lite needs to notate that their HDMI extender products (all of them according to the rep I spoke with) require an unbroken run of CAT5 or better. Not very realistic requirements.
