Rated 5 out of 5 bySysAdmin from Does not fitPoorly made. The mounting holes are misaligned and does not match the screw holes on a standard 3.5 HDD. The handle/ring part in the front of the bracket is longer than a standard HDD. In summary, this bracket does not fit standard 3.5 HDD bay and requires user modification to trim and to enlarge or to create proper holes for mounting. Avoid.

Rated 5 out of 5 byJamesEpp from DisappointingTwo major gripes with the product:The SFF specification for 3.5" drive bays allocates 4 or 6 female threads on the bottom side of a 3.5" for the fasteners to enter. This adapter does not *not* have these female threads. This made it difficult for my situation, where the desktop I was going to use this adapter had the 3.5" HDD mounted using these bottom fasteners + threads. Seeing as how this adapter does not include these female threads, it made the use of this part in this case impossible.Additionally, I see the plastic pegs used to "secure" the drive when mounted an incredibly bad decision. Include some metal fasteners and I'd be much more happy. What happens when you need to remove the adapter? The only way I see it happening is having to pinch each peg, then push it from the inside out. This will not be easy in 99% of most cases I see this bracket being used. Overall a very badly thought out product.
