Tried to replace standing desks
We purchased five of these Ergotrons to replace actual standing desks and 3 of the 5 are sitting in a storage closest now. I'm free to stand!
This product was a little time-consuming to install, however is an excellent quality desk for daily use. I love that I can sit, stand, and easily turn my monitor away from the window at certain times of day for optimal lighting. I can now spend hours a day standing and working, rather than sitting in one place.

I did a lot of research and decided on the Ergotron WorkFit-A, Dual Workstation with Suspended Keyboard. It's been great. I am a hard typer, so when standing it does wobble a little bit, but it's not enough to bother me. Assembly took some time, but this is because I was not in a hurry. If you buy this product, follow the directions and you shouldn't have any problems. The pictures seen like it takes up a lot of room, but it doesn't.

When working in a standing position the module is bouncy, no place to write and no place to hold other items from a standing position. These modules are very large, so when using it from a sitting position it takes up the entire desk space so you lose all of the free space that you would normally have to perform non-computer work.They are not very easy to shift from side to side so when guests sit at your desk the Ergotron acts as a barrier from speaking to someone and looking at them. They are pretty sturdy, and the quality seems to be decent. It does take a while to assemble, two people for thirty minutes. They are shipped in very large boxes and you will need a hand cart to move them.

I love that I can sit, stand, and easily turn my monitor away from the window at certain times of day for optimal lighting. I can now spend hours a day standing and working, rather than sitting in one place. It has had a fantastic impact on how I feel at the end of the day. Neck strain is less and I don't feel like a lump for sitting for 7-9 hours. Big fan and thankful I found such a life impacting product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I would recommend this product. This workstation is really a great product! It has several different pivot points that allow you to move it to almost any location on your desk as opposed to others that mount in the front and only move up or down. It does wiggle a little when standing, but I may not have it adjusted tightly enough. It's really great to stand or sit while working.
