This is the perfect solution
The product is very sturdy and durable. I have no fear plugging in my expensive audio equipment and it is completely silent and creates no interference with my audio.

Built like a tank!
I bought this for my electronics lab and it us working out perfectly! It's built like a tank and has a lot built in features that attract me. I've only had it for a few weeks but it looks and feels like it will probably last me my whole life time. I will definitely be purchasing another one soon.

Nice PDU but the internal fuse should be extended to an externally accessible fuse holder so the fuse can be replaced by owner if needed. Also a small, inexpensive voltage meter would be helpful to be able to monitor line voltage.

Trip lite Isobar is the best!!
I have been using Trip lite Isobars for years. they will do as advertised. I have 2 in use the older one is a Model 1B-8 and the new one that is in a cabinet in use .

Yes I would buy it again.
I used it to protect my stereo system. I can only say, it's well built and seems like a great value compared to others I've looked at. As far as satisfied , I will only be able to tell if there is a power serge.

It has never failed to protect the hardware, but tends to self-destruct each time there is a major surge (which seems to be happening more often recently). I would much rather have that than blowing up my equipment, but it is still discouraging to have to buy replacements over and over.

Going all the way back to 1996 and 1997, I can remember my physics class in high school and the lab department had all Tripp Lite Isobar surge protectors mounted to the lab tables. I liked them so much that I got one for my home computer back in the spring of 1997. Fast forward 22 years later and I've still got my computer, LCD monitor, and TXH speakers connected to my newest Isobar 8-outlet surge protector and it's performing superbly. The 3840 Joule rating will give you peace of mind that your equipment is well protected, even during a moderate to strong electrical surge. An integrated 12A circuit breaker protects all 8 outlets and shuts down connected equipment in case of overload. In addition, the 8-outlets gives you plenty of room to expand by adding additional electrical devices. The ISOBAR Ultra surge suppressor provides eight widely spaced NEMA 5-15R outlets which are arranged in 4 exclusive isolated filter banks to limit noise interaction among connected equipment. The only downside would be if you have to many DC adapters to plug in and that's when things can get cramped, however, Tripp Lite has a wonderful solution for that conundrum – which is the Tripp Lite power extension cords. These power cords will allow you to plug in those pesky "wall warts" and come in 1 ft., 3 ft., 6 ft., 10 ft., 15 ft., and 25 ft. lengths, respectively. These power extension cords are 13A and are made with 16AWG wire (NEMA 5-15P to NEMA 5-15R). Moving on, I also like the included outlet covers that are supplied with the 8-outlet ISOBAR Ultra surge protectors which gives the unit a clean look and prevent dust from accumulating inside the unit. I feel I've done all I can to help protect my equipment. Great company, and I'm very satisfied. I highly recommend Tripp-Lite.
