I bought it because it had an extra long cord. i needed this because I had to hide the cord under a table and across a hallway where there is foot traffic, it is hidden in one of those floor pieces. I would buy again if needed.

Like the first reviewer, I needed something with an especially long cord and plenty of outlets. This protector is perfect! I would tell anyone to get it.

Superlong 25 foot power cord is extremely useful especially in rooms where outlets are far away from equipment. I purchased this product based on the length of of the power cord and also Tripp Lite's brand reliability.

The problem I had was that they installed the ISOBAR6 and plugged it into a 25 foot extension cord. So why not just use the one made with 25Ã?Ã? Needless to say this was a great upgrade as there is no extra connection, much cleaner and less potential for issues. The 8 outlet also allows for expansion. I hope never to need the protection this offers my equipment, but itÃ?s nice to know what it can do. Also this has buildt in mounting brackets, the other did not.

Sometimes outlets just are not where you need them for the best placement of equipment. With this unit we were able to place our printer where we needed it and still have it protected from power surges and lightening. We did have an issue with one side of the unit going out over a weekend but Tripp-Lite replaced it, no questions asked. Thanks, Tripp-Lite!

The 25ft cord is very useful and not as stiff as other surge protectors we have. It is very resistant with its metal body; and also the 90 degree plug is useful to use it behind a desk. The only drawback with this multi-outlet is the separation between them. It is quite tight.

They have bent over backwards to help. I told them I had to plug it in about 10 ft, away from the controller. They wanted it to be plugged in directly with no extension cord. They sent me the wrong one (to short a cord). They told me o]to keep it and they would send another free. Later the controller got a surge from the fence side, no fault of Tripp Lite. They sent me another free, The customer relations of Tripp Lite should be a model for all companies to go by. From now on if I buy a surge protector, you can bet it will be a Tripp Lite. Great Company, and great claims administrator.
